    Utterly Wronged

To have this much pheromone clinging to her meant Jiang Jinyi had spent a long time with another omega last night.

Spent time together — what had happened?

The omega pheromones on Jiang Jinyi’s body were truly overwhelming, as if declaring sovereignty.

    Constantly provoking Jiang Youwan’s rationality.

Jiang Youwan’s face darkened as she stepped forward, grabbing Jiang Jinyi by the collar and roughly turning her around. The box in Jiang Jinyi’s hands fell to the floor — Jiang Youwan had no mind to care what it was. She pushed aside the long hair covering the back of her neck, and the gland was exposed.

    The suppressant patch was gone.

She had reminded Jiang Jinyi to always wear a suppressant patch when going out.

Jiang Youwan’s face went pale, her brows drawn tight. It was as though another version of herself had appeared in her mind, that version saying to her with biting sarcasm: “Jiang Jinyi doesn’t even remember your birthday, and on your birthday she runs off to mess around with another omega. You should tie her up, lock her away, train her properly, so she can only ever look at you and only ever belong to you.”

“Did you mark another omega?” Jiang Youwan’s voice was cold as ice, sending a shiver through Jiang Jinyi’s entire body.

    She hadn’t…

Jiang Jinyi was frantic, shaking her head violently. “I didn’t! I didn’t mark another omega!” She turned around hastily, her eyes already red, tears welling and swirling, utterly wronged. “I didn’t mark another omega, I really didn’t… this scent can be washed off, it’s not a marking…”

Seeing her this anxious and wronged, the despair in Jiang Youwan’s heart lessened considerably, but she was still deeply uncomfortable. Her tone softened. “What happened? Tell jiejie clearly.”

Jiang Youwan’s tone had softened, but Jiang Jinyi’s tears could no longer be held back — all her grievance magnified in this moment. She raised a hand to wipe her eyes, her wet lashes trembling, and choked out:

“I… I’d already booked a seven o’clock flight last night to come celebrate your birthday, but Huo Qi tricked me. She drugged me, took me to a house, she wanted me to mark her. I didn’t mark her, I escaped, and then… then I passed out by the road, and a kind person took me to their home to sleep for the night, and I just… just got back…”

Listening to what she’d gone through last night, Jiang Youwan’s heart clenched, filled with dread and tenderness.

She hadn’t expected that Xiao Jin remembered her birthday. She hadn’t expected that Xiao Jin had gone through something like that last night.

    “Xiao Jin…”

The more she spoke, the more wronged she felt, the more she choked up, barely able to breathe, her words slurring together. “I… I heard you come back, and I wanted to come wish you happy birthday, you, wah…”

She’d heard Youwan come back and instantly forgotten all her grievances and unhappiness, thinking only of wishing her happy birthday and giving her the gift. But then she’d been snapped at — and being snapped at like that, every grievance came flooding out at once.

She’d just wanted to wish Jiang Youwan a happy birthday and give her the present…

“Wah…” Jiang Jinyi kept sniffling, wiping her tears hard, her sleeves soaked through, choking out the repetition: “I didn’t mark another omega…”

Jiang Youwan’s heart was breaking. She felt as if she’d lost something and found it again. She regretted her earlier behavior terribly and wanted nothing more than to immediately make up for the hurt she’d caused. Her tone turned soft and gentle. “It’s jiejie’s fault. Jiejie shouldn’t have snapped at you just now. Jiejie apologizes. Can you stop crying, okay?”

Jiang Youwan reached out to pull her into her arms, but Jiang Jinyi struggled and pushed her away, wiping her tears and running off.

No — her whole body reeked of another omega’s scent. Jiang Youwan must find it disgusting. She had to wash it off, all of it.

Jiang Youwan was about to follow when she noticed the box that had fallen to the floor. She stopped, picked it up, and opened it — inside was a pearl pendant necklace.

The necklace was beautiful, exquisitely crafted.

Attached was a small note, unmistakably in Jiang Jinyi’s handwriting: “Happy birthday, jiejie. I want to be good and listen to you. I want to stay with you always. I want you to be happy every day.”

After reading those words, Jiang Youwan felt an ache welling up inside. All her emotions dissolved into tenderness for Jiang Jinyi. What should she do? How could she comfort her and make up for the hurt she’d caused?

Xiao Jin was so endearing, so easy to love.

Jiang Jinyi sniffled and wiped her tears while rummaging for clothes. Once she’d found a change of clothes, she ran straight into the bathroom and shut the door. She didn’t care about the wound on her arm — she just wanted to scrub off Huo Qi’s pheromone scent as fast as possible, wash it clean, not leave a single trace.

She needed to be completely clean before letting Jiang Youwan near her. She didn’t want Youwan to smell another omega’s scent and feel upset.

If she had marked another omega, that omega’s pheromones couldn’t be washed off. But if she hadn’t marked anyone, the pheromones clinging to her body could be washed clean.

She wanted to prove to Jiang Youwan that she was clean.

Steam filled the bathroom. Jiang Jinyi squeezed a large amount of body wash and rubbed it over herself, pouting as she washed, feeling miserable and wronged. She decided she definitely wouldn’t talk to Jiang Youwan for a while — she’d make Youwan come coax her first.

But… then again, Jiang Jinyi felt she was being a bit unreasonable. Today was Jiang Youwan’s birthday, after all. Maybe she should give in a little?

Just… just go say happy birthday to her. Just once. After that, she’d ignore her.

Lost in her thoughts, Jiang Jinyi didn’t notice someone approaching. The bathroom door handle was grasped by a pale, slender hand — a click, and it opened.

Jiang Jinyi jumped, snapping her head around. Jiang Youwan stood there wrapped in nothing but a bath towel, turning sideways to close the door. After it shut, she gave the lock a soft twist, then lifted her gaze and smiled at Jiang Jinyi.

Jiang Jinyi paled in panic, hastily snatching the towel hanging on the wall to wrap around herself, her face instantly turning crimson, eyes darting wildly, stammering: “Wh-what are you doing?!”

How could she be so rude? She was bathing, and Youwan had just barged right in, and… and wasn’t even dressed…

    “Get out right now!!”

Jiang Youwan selectively didn’t hear her. She unhurriedly untied the towel around herself. Jiang Jinyi couldn’t bear the sight and had already turned away. Youwan chuckled softly, her eyes laced with threads of allure like a spider’s web, ready to ensnare Jiang Jinyi, wrap her up, and devour her piece by piece.

Jiang Youwan walked toward her and wrapped her arms around her waist. Jiang Jinyi’s body went rigid, trembling faintly, forgetting how to breathe. She felt Youwan’s cheek press against her shoulder, a hand gently brushing aside her hair, mouth and nose hovering very close to the back of her neck. Then, softly coaxing: “Baby, can you stop being mad?”

Whether intentionally or not, every word from Jiang Youwan sent warm breath washing over the back of her neck. Having been drugged not long ago, her gland was impossibly sensitive and fragile right now. Jiang Jinyi pushed at her, her voice frail and trembling. “Don’t…”

“Still mad at jiejie? How should jiejie make it up to you?” Jiang Youwan was excellent at coaxing. She’d been as fierce earlier as she was gentle now — like a pool of spring water, soft and deeply alluring.

She wrapped her arms around her waist, pressing close against her back. “Baby’s been wronged. Whatever you want, jiejie will give you. Everything to coax you, okay?”

    Everything…

Jiang Jinyi couldn’t resist her like this and surrendered quickly. “I’m not mad…”

“What happened to your hand?” Jiang Youwan suddenly noticed the wound on Jiang Jinyi’s arm. She tensed instantly, grabbing Jinyi’s wrist and lifting her arm to look. On her fair skin was a wound about three centimeters long.

Jiang Youwan’s eyes filled with anguish, her tone urgent. “How did you get hurt? Was it Huo Qi?”

If Jiang Youwan hadn’t said anything it would have been fine, but the moment she asked, the moment she showed concern, Jiang Jinyi couldn’t help being dramatic. She said in a small, aggrieved voice: “Huo Qi drugged me. I couldn’t mark her — to keep myself awake, I cut myself with a shard from a vase.”

Jiang Jinyi hadn’t dared to cut too deep — the wound wasn’t deep, but to Jiang Youwan, it was still shocking to see.

Jiang Youwan could almost picture the scene — how frightened, terrified, and miserable Jiang Jinyi must have been.

A dark glint flashed through Jiang Youwan’s eyes, her voice slightly hoarse. “Don’t worry, Xiao Jin. Jiejie will make anyone who hurts you pay.”

Jiang Youwan’s words carried an almost imperceptible edge of menace. Jiang Jinyi knew she meant it. She shook her head and said, “Huo Qi… let’s just drop it. She’s been my friend since we were kids. I don’t want things to get ugly.”

Jiang Youwan frowned, seemingly displeased. “Is Xiao Jin still going to be close with her?”

“I won’t hang out with her anymore. I’ll go the other way whenever I see her.” Sensing her displeasure, Jiang Jinyi promised.

Jiang Youwan let the menace fade, noncommittal about Jinyi’s promise. Her gaze softened again like still water. She leaned down and pressed a kiss to Jinyi’s smooth shoulder. Jiang Jinyi’s body shuddered, her face flushed red as blood, and she tried to push her away again. “Can you go out? You’re impossible…”

Jiang Youwan didn’t leave. Instead, she took hold of the towel haphazardly wrapped around Jinyi’s body and said quietly, “Jiejie will help you wash.”

    Help… help her wash?

No, no — she’d die of embarrassment!

Jiang Jinyi clutched the towel tightly, not letting her pull it off. She looked at Youwan with pleading eyes — eyes still wet from crying, absolutely pitiful.

As if one more tug would actually make her die of embarrassment.

The shyer she got, the more excited Jiang Youwan became.

“Xiao Jin’s arm wound can’t get wet, and there’s still a little bit of another omega’s scent on you. Let jiejie wash it off for you, okay? Wash it all clean.” Jiang Youwan made it sound like a suggestion, but beneath it lay something irrefutable — refusal would be useless.

The bathroom door was locked, and so was the bedroom door. Jiang Jinyi was like a helpless scholar trapped in a spider’s den, struggling in vain.

“It’s not the first time anyway. Jiejie used to help you bathe before. No need to be shy, okay?”

Jiang Jinyi was mortified. She wanted to agree but was too embarrassed to say yes. So she found herself a rationale: her body was covered in another omega’s scent, and she couldn’t smell it very well herself. What if there was still some left? Jiang Youwan was so sensitive to omega pheromones — if she washed her, she’d definitely get it completely clean…

While Jiang Jinyi was still deliberating, Jiang Youwan seized the opportunity and pulled the towel off. Startled, Jinyi squeezed her eyes shut. The shower was turned back on — warm water cascading over her, running for a while, then shut off.

With her eyes closed, her other senses heightened. She felt Jiang Youwan spread body wash over her skin, working it in little by little.

Her body coated in body wash by Jiang Youwan, she then heard that sultry voice: “You need to turn around.”

Jiang Jinyi let out a pitiful whimper, turning her body stiffly, still not daring to open her eyes. Jiang Youwan gave a light laugh. “Looks like jiejie was right. Xiao Jin is an alpha who’s all looks and no action — this shy. Would your girlfriend tell you to fuck her and you wouldn’t even dare? What then?”

Jiang Jinyi couldn’t handle this kind of verbal provocation. She opened her eyes and immediately met Jiang Youwan’s seductive gaze — an SSS-class omega, a being born to ensnare souls.

“You help jiejie wash too, okay?”

Jiang Jinyi clenched her jaw. Jiang Youwan lifted her hand, squeezed some body wash into her palm, and guided it onto her own body, beginning to teach her how to help.

“No need to be shy.” Jiang Youwan was gentle and patient, guiding her step by step — telling her this was where Xiao Jin often buried her face, that was what Xiao Jin would often lick in the future. In any case, everything belonged exclusively to Xiao Jin, and she’d be using it often, so there was no need to be shy.

The two helped each other. Jiang Jinyi’s head was spinning, her thoughts a blur. She hadn’t heard a word Jiang Youwan said — she felt like her brain had already burned to a crisp.

They’d gone through a lot of body wash, but the scent of datura flowers in the bathroom had completely overwhelmed it. Jiang Jinyi’s gland caught that scent as if it had found its master — immediately stirring to life, craving her caress…

Unlike with Huo Qi earlier, she was instinctively drawn in by Jiang Youwan — seduced, tempted.

That was the difference. She liked Jiang Youwan. She didn’t like Huo Qi.

Jiang Youwan suddenly leaned in and nuzzled the crook of her neck. Jiang Jinyi instantly froze. Two seconds later, Youwan pulled back with a smile and praised her: “Wonderful. The other omega’s scent is gone from your body. It’s all jiejie’s scent now.”

Praised like that, Jiang Jinyi blinked happily.

    All jiejie’s scent now?

She hated having Huo Qi’s scent on her, but she wasn’t the least bit averse to being covered in Jiang Youwan’s scent — she even felt happy and savored it.

That was the difference. She liked Jiang Youwan. She didn’t like Huo Qi.

She only liked Jiang Youwan, so no matter how excessive, how heart-racing the things Youwan did to her, she’d never feel repulsed.

She wanted to give herself to her, let her do as she pleased.

Jiang Youwan saw the intoxication and pleasure in her eyes, and her heart filled with an inexplicable satisfaction. She turned around, her back to Jinyi, and said, “Help jiejie wash her back…”

Jiang Jinyi had already been guided through washing the front, so the back didn’t feel as embarrassing. She obediently squeezed out some more body wash and spread it across her back.

Jiang Youwan’s back was beautiful — smooth, delicate skin. Her figure wasn’t exactly slender; it was shapely, with alluring curves, her body wonderfully soft.

As she was rubbing, Jiang Youwan suddenly swept aside the hair at the back of her neck, revealing the pink-tinted gland before Jinyi’s eyes, and said in a soft, seductive voice: “Here too.”

Jiang Jinyi’s hand trembled. She didn’t dare to touch it, but fearing she’d be teased, she hesitated for a moment before obediently applying the body wash. When she touched the gland, Jiang Youwan let out a soft moan, her body shivering.

Jiang Jinyi’s breath caught. Her face burned. She wanted to look away but couldn’t — and even a bold, unprecedented thought surfaced: to let Jiang Youwan be covered in her scent too.

    Could she?

    Youwan would probably like that.

So, she couldn’t help but begin releasing her hyacinth scent — carefully, gently, just a little at a time.

She thought Youwan wouldn’t notice, but before long, Youwan’s body grew softer and softer, as if she’d melt into Jinyi’s arms.

Jiang Jinyi quickly caught her from behind. Youwan leaned into her embrace and glanced back, her eyes carrying a look somewhere between reproach and allure. “Xiao Jin’s gone bad. You actually know how to use pheromones to seduce jiejie now. What are you after?”

Jiang Jinyi was instantly stricken with guilt. Her sneaky little trick had been exposed, and she was too embarrassed to admit it. “N-no…”

“Really? Smell for yourself — it’s all your scent…” Jiang Youwan pressed her head down, bringing the back of her neck to Jinyi’s nose. Jinyi didn’t resist. She sniffed carefully — it was a blend of hyacinth and datura, filling the air…

Ugh, she couldn’t hide it anymore. She’d been found out.

Then, Jiang Youwan pressed her head down a little more, until her lips touched the gland — like a kiss. Youwan let out a pleased little hum.

The note rose at the end, sweet and seductive beyond words.

Jiang Jinyi’s body went taut. She scrambled to pull back but feared Youwan would fall. She wanted to move but couldn’t — she could only let Youwan do as she pleased.

“You still say you didn’t…” Jiang Youwan scolded her with feigned reproach. “Xiao Jin looks so shy and innocent, yet secretly uses pheromones to make jiejie go into heat.”

Jiang Youwan’s gaze was hazy, dripping with allure, her cheeks flushed — she was clearly on the verge of going into heat.

Her gland kept brushing against Jinyi’s lips, as if enticing her to bite…

“I… I didn’t…” Jiang Jinyi panicked. She just wanted to… just wanted to… Ugh, she couldn’t refute it at all.

Jiang Youwan chuckled and couldn’t resist turning to kiss the corner of her mouth. Her fox eyes cast a soulful glance, her nasal voice sexy and alluring. “Jiejie told you before… jiejie doesn’t want to use suppressants anymore…”
