The Amnesiac Omega Who Reels Me In Every Day – Chapter 35
by Little PandaHeartbreak
“Y-You rogue!”
Ji Xiaoqin didn’t return to the hotel. Instead, she ended up at a roadside stall, where several bottles of beer sat on a simple wooden table. She took an experimental sip, her brow furrowing at the stinging burn. She couldn’t tell if the alcohol was forcing her tears out, or if she’d simply wanted to cry all along.
She didn’t know why her reaction was so intense today. She felt incredibly sad, desperately wanting to cry, her chest feeling completely empty. It felt as if the last tiny bit of illusion left in her heart had been uprooted by Jiang Youwan.
She didn’t even have the right to be jealous, yet it felt as if she’d been completely heartbroken.
With downcast eyes, Ji Xiaoqin grabbed a beer from the table. Just as she tilted her head back to drink, a slender, pale hand pressed down on it and pushed it back.
Ji Xiaoqin blinked, looking up to find a glamorous, seductive face meeting her eyes.
It… It was Miss Wen.
Seeing her look of surprise, Wen Ye couldn’t help but laugh. “Little one, don’t you know it’s dangerous for an Omega to drink alone outside?”
Ji Xiaoqin wiped a hand across her tears. “Miss Wen, h-how… why are you here?”
“To protect you, of course.” Wen Ye sat down next to her, tilting her head and chin toward a small-time hoodlum lingering nearby, who was pacing around and stealing glances at them. “Like I said, it’s very dangerous for a little Omega to drink alone.”
Startled when she saw the thug, Ji Xiaoqin quickly said, “Thank you, Miss Wen.”
“No need for thanks,” Wen Ye suggested. “How about I take you back to the hotel?”
Ji Xiaoqin felt a bit flustered, shaking her head quickly. “N-No, there’s no need!”
But Wen Ye didn’t give her a chance to refuse. She naturally took her hand and said, “I’d better take you back. Otherwise, if anything happens to you, I’ll feel bad about it. Let’s go.”
Wen Ye’s voice was very gentle, without any sense of force—just pure concern, so Ji Xiaoqin didn’t feel uncomfortable. Since she was already terrible at refusing people, she naturally let herself be pulled along.
Wen Ye’s car was parked nearby on the roadside—a very striking red Ferrari. As the two of them sat inside the enclosed space, it was filled with a faint rose fragrance. It was a very gentle scent; Wen Ye was an Alpha.
Ji Xiaoqin was made a bit dizzy by the Alpha’s pheromones, feeling a faint heat at the back of her neck. When Wen Ye suddenly leaned in close, Ji Xiaoqin gasped in surprise. Wen Ye’s voice was a bit deep: “You’ve got to wear your seatbelt.”
She quickly buckled it herself, feeling her body heat up continuously. “I… I can do it myself…”
The seatbelt was buckled, but Wen Ye didn’t pull back. Instead, she looked at her with a smile. Ji Xiaoqin was thin-skinned, and with her body’s strange reaction, her face quickly flushed red under the gaze, and she turned her face away.
“Miss Wen, w-what… what are you doing?” All at once, her pitch changed.
Wen Ye smiled. “You’re very pretty…”
Pretty…?
Before Ji Xiaoqin could gather her words to reply, Wen Ye spoke again. “Why is your face so red? Are you about to go into heat?”
Heat?
Ji Xiaoqin’s eyes went wide. Only then did she remember that she was indeed in her heat cycle. Although she’d injected a suppressant the day before yesterday, suppressants usually only lasted two or three days. Under the accelerating effect of the alcohol, its window of effectiveness would be even shorter…
Speak of the devil1—just as she thought of it, her physical reaction grew increasingly intense. When she looked up again, her eyes were already red, the mist in her eyes carrying the most primal desire, which she suppressed with all her might. In a trembling voice, she asked, “Miss Wen, do you… do you happen to have a suppressant?”
Wen Ye shook her head helplessly. “I don’t have any suppressants, but… I can help you.”
Help…?
“You’re so cute, do you know that?”
Before Ji Xiaoqin could react, Wen Ye cupped her chin and leaned in to kiss her.
Ji Xiaoqin’s eyes went wide, instinctively wanting to push her away, but her hands were caught, her body so soft she couldn’t struggle at all.
Under Wen Ye’s gradual, steady advance, she slowly went soft, no longer struggling.
…
“Fuck, I don’t know where she ran off to. She looks so weak and delicate, so how is she running this fast?” Xu An was covered in sweat. With one hand resting against the wall, she used the other to brush back her messy pink bangs, muttering curses under her breath. After catching her breath for a moment, she raised her eyes again, casually glancing toward the roadside. Suddenly, her eyes went wide, completely stunned by the scene before her.
Ji Xiaoqin was actually sitting in Wen Ye’s car, kissing her?!
“Fuck!”
The following morning, warm sunbeams filtered through the floor-to-ceiling windows, spilling over one side of the large bed. Jiang Jinyi’s bed wasn’t small—it was a wide, one-point-eight-meter bed. Yet even with two people sleeping in it, they occupied only a tiny corner, right where the sunlight fell.
Their two bodies were pressed close together, a thin quilt draped loosely below their waists. Jiang Jinyi’s arm was draped over Jiang Youwan’s slender waist, their posture making it look like she was holding her in her arms. Before long, Jiang Youwan slowly opened her eyes, met with her peaceful sleeping face, sweet and entirely defenseless.
She was a delicate, gentle Omega.
Thinking about it, they were both Omegas. They couldn’t mark or be marked by each other, and could only use their pheromones to soothe one another, but that didn’t stop them from being together.
No matter what, no matter who she was, she wanted to be with her. No one could stop them.
Staring at Jiang Jinyi’s sleeping face, Jiang Youwan couldn’t help but guiltily wonder: when Xiao Jin went into heat in the future, how desperately would she crave her?
Right now, Xiao Jin still believed with all her heart that she was her sister, completely unaware her jiejie was staring at her while thinking about such dirty things.
Jiang Youwan suddenly felt a strong sense of taboo.
Actually, five years ago when she’d first arrived at the Jiang family home, she’d already done things to her that sisters shouldn’t do.
Five years ago.
Jiang Jinyi’s fever was completely gone. Her head was no longer heavy or dizzy, and her body felt much lighter. She propped herself up to sit in bed and checked her phone—it was already past nine in the evening.
She’d slept for over ten hours.
With her memory waking up, she patted her cheeks, gritted her teeth, and flung off the covers, storming out to settle the score.
Why did she always embarrass herself in front of Jiang Youwan? Once, twice…
Jiang Jinyi felt she’d definitely embarrassed herself too many times and lost all her authority before Jiang Youwan. The other woman must think she was a total pushover to dare be so insolent—going as far as pinching her face to force-feed her medicine!
It was too embarrassing!
Meanwhile…
Warm water sprayed over her body. Tilting her swan-like neck back, Jiang Youwan felt her muscles experience an unprecedented level of relaxation, comfort, and warmth…
She rarely had moments where she could enjoy herself like this—taking a hot shower in the summer.
Even in the winter, such things were rare.
Yet she wasn’t greedy, simply washing every inch of her skin carefully, lathering up with body wash. The glass of the bathroom was fogged up with condensation, filled with the rich scent of roses.
Before long, the sound of water stopped.
Jiang Youwan wiped her body dry with a towel, picking up the clothes she was going to change into. Suddenly, with a click, the bathroom door was unlocked from the outside. Startled, Jiang Youwan turned around immediately.
At the same time, Jiang Jinyi walked in, turning on the bathroom light as she did. The floral scent of the body wash instantly filled her nose, and looking up, she saw the scene before her.
The glass of the shower stall was covered in thick water vapor, and through the haze stood a woman with waist-length hair and a graceful figure.
Under the dim light, the damp mist in the bathroom made the woman’s body appear blurred yet visible—a fair, swan-like neck, rounded shoulders, and a slender waist2 with not a trace of extra fat. Her wet hair hung loose, half-covering her, carrying a sort of unspoken temptation.
A beautiful woman bathing, full of endless charm.
Like an art piece that would only appear in a painting.
A perfect painting, enough to satisfy all her fantasies.
Jiang Jinyi’s mind went blank. The watering can in her hand slipped and clattered onto the floor. She couldn’t react, completely dazed.
Or rather, she was spellbound.
With her back turned, Jiang Youwan’s expression couldn’t be seen. She only heard her suppressed, tense voice order: “Get out!”
As if snapped out of it, Jiang Jinyi immediately closed her eyes, quickly turned around, shut the door, and ran out. Her face was burning hot, her breathing became irregular, and her heart rate was completely chaotic.
Not just her face, but her neck was red too, and her earlobes were even redder, as if they were about to drip blood.
Why didn’t Jiang Youwan turn on the light when she showered?
And why was there no sound when she showered?
Gently patting her flushed face, she naturally pushed all the blame onto Jiang Youwan.
The air conditioner was running in the house, but Jiang Jinyi’s body showed no signs of cooling down. After three minutes, her face was still red, no matter how much she patted it.
After another moment, she noticed the bathroom door lock turning. Jiang Youwan must be coming out after showering. For some reason, her heart panicked. She stood up and ran into the yard to blow off some cold wind.
The night wind was slightly warm, the moonlight was beautiful, stars blinked in the sky, and the moon was round.
Only then did she remember that she’d originally wanted to get some water from the bathroom to spray her flowers. She hadn’t gotten any water, and the watering can had been dropped in the bathroom.
This was too embarrassing!
How could she have the face to go back and get it? She squatted in front of several flower pots, occasionally tapping her face to cool down.
She uncontrollably recalled the scene from just now, and when she recovered, she felt incredibly ashamed of her own thoughts.
She kept muttering to herself, so much so that she didn’t even notice someone approaching her.
“Miss Jiang…” A soft, melodic voice broke the silence, cutting off her mortifying thoughts.
Jiang Jinyi’s spine went stiff. She turned to look, and it was indeed Jiang Youwan standing behind her.
She’d already dressed in a T-shirt and loose trousers, her still-wet hair hanging loose and swaying slightly in the breeze.
She just stood in the moonlight. It was too dark to see clearly, but the only certain thing was that she was beautiful.
Her eyes were always gently closed, as soft and beautiful as a fairy in the moon. For a moment, Jiang Jinyi thought she was some deity descended from the moonlight.
She pinched her finger, feeling ashamed of her daze, and mumbled, “W-What did you come out for?”
Jiang Youwan raised the watering can in her hand and held it out. “Miss Jiang left this behind.”
Jiang Jinyi was slightly stunned, her expression looking a bit awkward. She reached out and snatched it, only to find it was a bit heavy. Jiang Youwan had already filled it with water for her.
An awkward silence settled between them for a moment.
Jiang Jinyi’s face was still hot and incredibly awkward, while Jiang Youwan had a calm face. Anyone who didn’t know better would think Jiang Jinyi was the one who’d been seen naked.
“Why don’t you turn on the light when you shower?” She complained with petulant anger, which was obviously to hide her embarrassment.
Jiang Youwan fell silent for a moment, then let out a slightly forced, bitter smile. “Because I can’t see. Turning them on or off is all the same.”
“I’m sorry, Miss Jiang, it’s my fault. Next time I’ll turn them on, so I don’t… trouble you.”
She’d become very sensible again, taking all the blame on herself, as if the person who’d cornered and coerced Jiang Jinyi to take medicine in her room wasn’t her.
But Jiang Jinyi didn’t get any satisfaction from this. Instead, she felt a blockage in her chest—an indescribable, stuffy feeling.
“Your hair isn’t even dry. Go back and dry your hair, otherwise if you catch a cold and get sick, I’ll have to call the doctor for you again.”
Her meaning was clear: she wanted her to leave quickly.
Jiang Youwan raised an eyebrow.
It was currently July, the hottest time of the year.
Actually, she didn’t feel cold, but hearing what the girl said, she suddenly felt like it was indeed a bit cold.
“Thank you for caring about me, Miss,” she said slowly. “The wind is strong tonight, and Miss has a delicate body that shouldn’t blow in the wind. You should go back inside quickly too.”
Jiang Jinyi had no intention of leaving. “I’m not that weak.”
Jiang Youwan had no intention of leaving either.
“Miss has just finished feeling unwell. If you fall sick again, you’ll have to take medicine again.” After saying that, she let out an indistinct, soft laugh.
This laugh happened to be caught by Jiang Jinyi. She was stunned, and then immediately became embarrassed and angry.
Gritting her teeth in anger, she walked up to her, less than two fist-widths away, and questioned her: “Jiang Youwan, you must think I’m very easy to bully, right?”
Jiang Youwan frowned, her words carrying a well-timed trace of grievance: “When did I ever bully you?”
Jiang Jinyi parted her lips, her brain spinning rapidly. “Y-You pinched my face and forced me to take medicine, and you threatened me! Isn’t that bullying me?”
Jiang Youwan fell silent for a moment, not explaining either. Continuing in that aggrieved tone, she said, “If Miss is sure I bullied you, Miss can get her revenge however she likes.”
How to get it back?
Jiang Jinyi started to think.
Should she make her bark like a dog or crawl? Or draw on her face to make her look like a big tabby cat, an ugly monster? Or just tell her to scram… But all these thoughts collapsed the moment she accidentally glanced at the wound on her left palm.
Her eyes flickered, and she reached out to grab Jiang Youwan’s arm. Jiang Youwan’s body stiffened, but she submissively went along with her movement.
Jiang Jinyi stared at the wound. She vaguely remembered that during the day, this place had been made to bleed by her…
It was too dark to see clearly.
“It’s so cold, let’s go back first, okay?” Accompanied by the breeze, Jiang Youwan’s voice drifted across, brushing past Jiang Jinyi’s ear.
“It is a bit cold,” Jiang Jinyi said softly.
On a hot summer night, even the wind was slightly warm.
The two of them returned to the villa one after the other. This time, Jiang Jinyi could see clearly. The wound on her palm was still a bit raw and bloody. When she showered just now, she probably got some water on it.
“Idiot.”
Jiang Youwan: “…?”
“Wounds aren’t allowed to touch water, don’t you know that? Idiot.”
“And you don’t even know to find a servant to help bandage your wound. If it gets infected, I’ll throw you into the hospital and let you stay there alone.”
“Let me tell you, staying in a hospital alone is very painful,” she threatened.
Jiang Youwan was slightly stunned, the corners of her mouth curling into a shallow smile as she said submissively, “I’m a bit stupid. Next time I won’t let the wound touch water. Miss Jiang, don’t leave me alone in the hospital.”
Actually, Jiang Youwan understood the pain of being thrown in the hospital better than Jiang Jinyi did.
Jiang Jinyi suddenly had a flash of inspiration. With a bad smile, she said in a threatening tone, “If you bully me again, I’ll throw you into the hospital alone.”
She’d found a new way to punish her.
Jiang Youwan: “Mmh…”
Jiang Jinyi went to fetch the medical kit. In truth, she was deeply squeamish about things like wounds and blood; her brow furrowed in discomfort and her hands trembled as she rubbed the ointment onto Jiang Youwan’s palm, though her usual complaints didn’t pass her lips.
Jiang Youwan obediently let her handle it. Perhaps because the pampered young mistress was too holy, untouched by any filth, Jiang Youwan didn’t feel the slightest aversion to her touch.
The faint hyacinth scent in her nose was exceptionally comfortable. At first, it caused heart palpitations, but once she got used to it, it became comforting.
With her palm bandaged up again, the wound would probably scab over in a day or two.
The neat, clean, white bandage wrapped around Jiang Youwan’s already fair and beautiful hand, adding a different kind of beauty.
“Much more pleasing to the eye,” Jiang Jinyi said.
This was the first time Jiang Jinyi had ever done this sort of thing. She felt like she was letting her off cheap, but when she thought about how this person had been injured for her flowers, she didn’t feel so awkward anymore.
Jiang Jinyi let go of her hand and stood up to walk away, but Jiang Youwan held her back. She didn’t pull her hand directly, but pulled at her sleeve.
Jiang Jinyi looked back, “What are you doing?”
One standing and one sitting, Jiang Youwan looked up at her. Her eyes were closed, yet there was a feeling of asking for a kiss.
“Is Miss looking for a model? What kind of model is it?” Her pink lips parted as she asked this nonsensical question.
Before Jiang Jinyi could react, she asked again, “Is it clothed, or unclothed?”
Jiang Jinyi was puzzled, “Why?”
“Just now in the bathroom, Miss saw my—”
Before the word “body” could escape Jiang Youwan’s mouth, Jiang Jinyi immediately interrupted her, explaining incoherently: “Who looked at your body?! Just now was an accident, I didn’t see clearly at all, not clearly at all!”
Jiang Jinyi’s face got hot again, and she awkwardly turned her eyes away.
“Didn’t see clearly?”
“Is that so…” Jiang Youwan slowly raised her hand, resting it below her collar, and began to unbutton.
Hearing the movement, Jiang Jinyi glanced over, and her eyes went wide instantly. Startled by her, she quickly pressed down on the hand that was unbuttoning. “Y-You rogue!”
“Rogue?”
Jiang Youwan seemed to smile, seemingly shy. “Didn’t Miss say you didn’t see clearly? I wanted to let Miss see more clearly.”
The author has something to say:
The current Xiao Jin: Rogue!
The future Xiao Jin: Jiejie, don’t wear any clothes!
