    Description:

Xu Jialuo was an independent musician—aloof, an alluring teaser1 without realizing it, a literal siren on earth, and everyone’s unattainable white moonlight2.

It was a pity that she had the looks but lacked the scent. She was a Beta.

Yet she never expected to suddenly differentiate into an Alpha one day.

Differentiating so late left her glands severely overloaded.

To survive, she needed to mark an Omega, turning them into her exclusive cure.

During her first heat, Xu Jialuo curled up under her blankets, wanting to call a friend for help, only to accidentally dial her arch-rival instead.

The woman on the other end reacted coldly. After a few seconds of silence, she left only an airy, offhand remark:

    “Let’s talk in person.”

Then, within ten minutes, she crossed half the city to kick open Xu Jialuo’s door.

Yet, during their first meeting after her differentiation, this rival—normally the most composed, top-tier Omega—was completely induced by Xu Jialuo’s pheromones and lost all control.

When a clear-headed Xu Jialuo looked at the terrifying bite mark on the other’s gland, she apologized with reddened eyes, utterly at a loss.

Bo Suiqing remained silent. Lifting a trembling hand, she wiped away the tears on Xu Jialuo’s face and told her to carry her into the bathroom.

“Stop crying, Xu Jialuo. Think about how you’re going to take responsibility for me instead.”

The internet exploded, and the servers of a certain microblogging platform nearly crashed.

This was because Bo Suiqing, widely crowned as the most unattainable top-tier goddess in the industry, now had an Alpha. Her cold, frost-preserved cherry scent was now infused with the rich, mellow aroma of a certain Alpha’s red wine, brewing into a sweet, crisp fragrance.

The entire internet speculated, but all efforts ended in vain.

Until Xu Jialuo and Bo Suiqing, the famous rivals, appeared on a reality show together. While everyone anticipated a massive clash, someone caught the scent of pheromones on the supposedly Beta Xu Jialuo.

It smelled just like a glass of iced cherry wine.

    Those who smelled it: ╭(°A°`)╮?

    Later on, everyone witnessed:

In the sweltering heat of summer, Xu Jialuo broke off a broad leaf to shade Bo Suiqing from the sun.

In the pouring rain, Xu Jialuo held an umbrella for Bo Suiqing, completely ignoring her own soaked clothes.

When Xu Jialuo was accidentally injured, Bo Suiqing bowed her head to bandage her wound. Her expression was full of irritation and impatience, yet she secretly wiped a tear of distress from the corner of her eye the moment her back was to the camera.

The crowd, inexplicably stuffed to the brim with dog food3: (OoO)? Woof woof woof woof woof?
