Matching Clothes? Not Possible, Couple Outfits, Check It Out!

Si Meng pulled off her blindfold and looked out at the vast blue sea. She swallowed involuntarily — some not-so-pleasant memories had been instantly triggered. After three seconds of hesitation, she turned on her heel and walked away.

Si Meng: That sea is so deep — my teammate definitely wouldn’t dare come over here. Yep, I’d better head to the jungle and find her.

Si Meng quickly memorized the route while mentally cataloging what wild ingredients she could use for cooking, strolling along as leisurely as if she were wandering through her own backyard.

On the other side, Lin Hanyue sat on a swing, lost in thought. This game was far too simple — find your teammate by following the WiFi signal. Staying put was obviously the safest strategy; running around would only make it harder for your teammate to find you.

But she’d been waiting half the day already — how was her useless teammate still not here?

Suddenly, a rustling came from the nearby bushes. Lin Hanyue instantly went on alert, nimbly circling behind the intruder to catch them off guard — only to find them hunched over behind the foliage, posture like an ostrich with its head buried in the sand.

Lin Hanyue crept closer, pressed her phone against the person’s lower back, and warned in a low voice, “Don’t make a sound. If you dare turn around, I’ll eliminate you.” The figure jolted, then stayed perfectly still, obedient as a log. Lin Hanyue studied their outfit — the style was about seventy percent similar to what she herself liked to wear. Could the production team have planted a body double to mislead her teammate?

Lin Hanyue was still deliberating when, the moment she let her guard down, ostrich-crouched Si Meng spotted the opening. She threw every ounce of strength into lunging at Lin Hanyue’s chest, both hands clamping firmly around her slender waist, squeezing so tight Lin Hanyue could barely breathe. Si Meng’s foot slipped, and she tumbled directly into Lin Hanyue’s arms, their faces pressed tightly together.

Si Meng figured since she’d already been caught, she might as well go down fighting. She’d been planning to execute a “waist-grab slam” — only to discover that this person was really heavy!

Si Meng turned her head and found Lin Hanyue’s face beneath hers, magnified tenfold. Long lashes. Skin so fine not a single pore was visible. A faint flush on her cheeks, breathing lightly, gazing up at Si Meng with a look of soft reproach.

Their breaths intertwined. Si Meng caught the faint scent of hyacinth on Lin Hanyue — subtle yet alluring, cool yet cloyingly sweet. Si Meng’s throat bobbed. The tips of her ears slowly turned red. She really, really wanted to seal those luscious red lips with her own…

Lin Hanyue freed a hand, seized the momentum, and flipped their positions in one fluid motion, pinning Si Meng beneath her. She tipped Si Meng’s chin up and scoffed coldly, “Is this what you meant by ‘I’ll wait at home obediently’?”

Si Meng could tell Lin Hanyue was genuinely a bit angry and immediately panicked. “Wait, let me make my excuses — no, wait, let me explain!”

Seeing her still irritated, Si Meng tried to say more — “Mmph—” Lin Hanyue clamped a hand over her mouth.

    “Shh. The cameraman’s coming.”

The two held their position — one on top of the other — until the cameraman left.

Lin Hanyue climbed off Si Meng and slipped back into her usual aloof, glamorous persona — that distant, cool gaze she wore for everyone. But the moment her eyes met Si Meng’s guileless stare, a flare of irritation shot through her. Great — four years apart and she’d learned to lie.

Lin Hanyue said with suppressed irritation, “Remember: don’t expose our relationship. Act like we don’t know each other.”

Si Meng twisted her fingers together, looking like a wronged little wife, and replied obediently, “Mm-hm, got it.”

The two instantly put distance between themselves. The cameraman nearby, as if sensing something, hurried over. Seeing their matching outfits and the electric tension between them, he assumed they’d shown up in identical clothes and were about to tear into each other — and readied his camera for a close-up.

But neither of them said a word. Lin Hanyue walked on ahead, and Si Meng trotted after her on her short little legs like a faithful tail.

The two of them didn’t tear into each other, but the fans in the livestream beat them to it, instantly splitting into two factions.

Matching Clothes Faction: “That little streamer dares to leech off the great Movie Queen’s popularity? With that pathetic look of hers, she’s got the nerve to wear the same thing?”

CP Faction: “Those are obviously from the same collection but different styles, okay? Stop overthinking it — they’re clearly couple outfits. We’re already shipping them — cheers to that!”
