Sea of flames
Boss Long swallowed his saliva twice, first with fear in his eyes as he watched everything unfold before him. After hearing what was said, he swallowed again, this time with an excited gleam on his face, as if he saw piles of banknotes right in front of him, almost unable to contain his anticipation.
“This is fifty million. Take it, and when can you provide me with the follow-up goods?”
An assistant brought over a suitcase, which Kuba opened for the Supreme Lord to inspect. Sure enough, the checks were checks, and the cash was cash, exuding that distinct scent of banknotes.
The Supreme Lord was very pleased. He picked up a stack, licked his finger, counted the money, then threw a pile of dollars into the box.
Kuba closed the suitcase and stood by his side.
“Boss Long values honesty, and so do we. The remaining goods will be delivered in seven days at…”
Before he could finish her sentence, footsteps were heard outside the warehouse.
Song Yuhang’s pupils dilated as she saw someone run over and whisper something in Tiger’s ear.
Tiger took down his AK from his back, loaded the bullets, and kicked open the warehouse door.
Uh-oh! It seems like we’ve been discovered!
Song Yuhang’s mind sounded the alarm, and in one swift motion, she climbed down from the roof and ran down.
Upon hearing the sound of tiles breaking on the roof, Kuba reacted swiftly, grabbing the submachine gun from a companion nearby and firing a burst towards the ceiling.
Song Yuhang leaped up just in time as the spot where she stood was pierced by bullets, sending tiles flying.
Before she could catch her breath, the decrepit beams succumbed to the weight, emitting a creaking sound, and under another wave of gunfire, they finally collapsed.
She managed to grab a piece of tile only to fall heavily, her head covered in dust. In the weightless descent, someone aimed a gun at her. Song Yuhang grabbed the AK she had picked up earlier from behind, opened her eyes amidst the dust, used her waist as support, quickly pulled the trigger, and unleashed a series of shots.
Kuba helped up the Supreme Lord, dodged to the side, and rolled on the ground while shielding his head with his hands.
Several henchmen fell to the ground from being shot, while Song Yuhang tumbled into a pile of oil drums, too focused on shooting to make any protective moves. She landed on her back, the pain causing her vision to darken.
A few empty oil drums rolled down, and Song Yuhang dodged to the side. Bullets hit the oil drums, sparking as they flew.
She got up and sprinted madly towards the exit.
The surrounding police officers, unsure who fired the first shot, exchanged glances, the gunshots serving as a signal. Someone had already dashed out.
The criminals behind the wooden fence turned around and, facing the approaching SWAT team, lifted their hands and fired a burst of bullets. Blood splattered on the grass, the SWAT member fell to the ground, the gun in their hand dropping, blood trickling from the corner of their mouth, eyes staring blankly into death.
The sound of the gunshot seemed to flip a switch, as more criminals emerged from the bungalows, rooftops, and behind sandbags, throwing everything into chaos.
Lin Yan suddenly sprang up from the grass nest, checking her watch. It wasn’t time yet. What on earth was going on?
Amidst the nearby gunshots and the flickering firelight, she gritted her teeth and gestured with a wave.
“Charge!”

A little further away, on the slightly flatter slope of the opposite hill, several police command vehicles were parked.
Feng Jianguo took the binoculars from someone else’s hands and observed the battle.
Several special police officers walked briskly over, escorting individuals who were tied up.
“Director Feng, we found him in the forest behind the farm, knocked unconscious.”
The bound individual nodded repeatedly, indicating for them to untie him.
Feng Jianguo took one look at his face, and cold sweat covered him.
His appearance here – who could the inside man in the farm be?!
“Kill her!” someone shouted loudly in multiple languages, and immediately Song Yuhang was blocked by several henchmen, who fired without hesitation.
Song Yuhang rolled sideways onto the ground, with bullets hitting the concrete floor, almost grazing her body.
She took refuge behind the oil drums, breathing heavily, calculating how to escape. Her fingers felt the oily grease on the drum, realizing it wasn’t completely empty, a plan forming in her mind.
Another group of assailants flanked her. Song Yuhang picked up the gun and fought bitterly, alone among the vicious and dangerous criminals. In a glance, she saw Kuba helping the Supreme Lord make his escape, a surge of adrenaline building up within her. With a loud shout, she stood up, taking aim and firing the gun.
“Don’t leave, save your life!”
Kuba pushed the Supreme Lord towards Tiger. “Take the Supreme Lord and go first!”
With that, he turned around, and the barrel of the gun spewed out flames, a burst of bullets shooting towards her.
Song Yuhang maneuvered through the hail of bullets, her body adorned with unknown injuries, her camouflage suit soaked, but she felt no pain. She leaped and hid behind the oil drum. The ensuing bullets pierced the drum, causing crude oil to trickle onto the ground.
Footsteps approached in a chaotic manner. Song Yuhang sat back against the oil drum, threw the empty magazine on the ground, and retrieved a photo from her shirt pocket. Her blood-stained hand gently caressed the face in the photo, a faint smile on her lips.
She carefully placed the photo back close to her heart, while with one hand, she pulled out a lighter from her pants pocket and lit it with a click. In her heart, she silently counted: 1, 2, 3…
Kuba ran towards the direction where she was hiding, stepping on the slippery liquid beneath his feet. The entire warehouse was filled with a pungent smell of crude oil.
He suddenly felt something was amiss, halted his steps, and called out to his companions, “F*ck, back out quickly!”
It was too late.
Song Yuhang silently recited, raised her hand, and viciously flung the lighter out, a glint of fire reflecting in her pupils as a golden hue tinted her brows and eyes.
In the instant the explosion-generated huge wave overturned everything, Song Yuhang thought to herself: It’s okay to let it go like this.
However, this thought was fleeting, even though she deeply wished to reunite with her fiancée in death.
But she couldn’t die yet. The evidence had not been sent out, and if she were to die, it should be after delivering the evidence to the authorities.
She needed to reveal all this evil to the world, including the upcoming transaction in seven days, brewing with conspiracy, power, money, and desire…
Lin Yan and Chu Nan’s grievances had not been avenged. She couldn’t… die.

It wasn’t all over yet.
Song Yuhang exerted her last ounce of strength, flipping inside an empty iron barrel as the flames approached, allowing the fire to engulf everything.
“Supreme Lord, are you okay?!” Lin Yan arrived with her men when the battle had come to an end.
The ground was littered with bodies, most dressed in desert camouflage, with heavy casualties. The police had temporarily retreated.
Liu Zhi dug out Tiger and Supreme Lord from the pile of corpses.
Tiger spat out the sand in his mouth, got up, and pointed a gun at his head, cursing loudly.
“F*ck, why did you all come so quickly?!”
“If we hadn’t come, Tiger, who has roamed Southeast Asia and conquered all challengers, would have fallen here tonight.”
Lin Yan emerged from the sea of blood and corpses, her shapely figure enveloped in a tight black leather outfit. Her shoulder-length black hair was tied back into a sleek ponytail, exuding a fierce and dangerous beauty.
She held a small pistol in her hand, loaded with bullets, aimed at him and pulled the trigger. However, it wasn’t him who died but a young policeman next to him who had intended to harm the Supreme Lord.
As the flames extinguished, Song Yuhang narrowly escaped and crawled to the warehouse door in a daze, hearing a gunshot in the distance.
She glanced up hastily, only to see a familiar figure coldly and mercilessly pulling the trigger towards her former companion, throwing the body into the bushes as if it were a discarded piece of trash.
“Don’t…” A tear slid down her eye, her fingers futilely clawing at the ground as her weak cries were drowned out by the sound of gunfire.
Upon hearing movement, Lin Yan turned around. “There’s a survivor.”
With that, she walked over, grabbed her by the hair, and lifted her face, shaking it abruptly, her complexion turning ghastly pale.
How could it be her?
Song Yuhang was a mess, covered in dirt and blood. Despite narrowly escaping by hiding in an iron barrel during the explosion, her hands and feet were badly burnt by the sudden surge of heat in the warehouse. Her flesh was charred, unrecognizable, no longer human.
Despite being in a sorry state, her eyes remained bright, shimmering with tears.
She used to love her eyes – warm as amber, calm as the vast ocean, with a hidden warmth flowing beneath the iceberg, always composed and full of love and vitality.
But now, all that remained was silence and deep-seated hatred.
Lin Yan’s hand, gripping her hair, began to tremble.
Song Yuhang gritted her teeth, wishing to devour her flesh, drink her blood, unable to quell the hatred burning in her heart.
“You… you killed him… I… I’ll kill you!”
As the words fell, she was hit on the temple with the butt of a gun, causing Song Yuhang to turn her head, ears ringing as she spat out a mouthful of blood.
The gun in Tiger’s hand was loaded, aimed at her head, gritting his teeth in hatred. “It’s her, suddenly barged in, alone killed over twenty of our best men, even Second Master…”
Before he could finish,
Song Yuhang slowly closed her eyes.
(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)
Lin Yan grabbed the gun barrel, “Hold on.”
Song Yuhang looked up in confusion, her lips quivering, but she saw Lin Yan smile coldly once again.
Her hand, like a snake, touched Song Yuhang’s cheek, caressing it back and forth. Finally, she gently pinched her chin, forcing her to look up and smile gracefully.
“She is called Song Yuhang, the former captain of the Criminal Investigation Detachment in Jiangcheng City, quite skilled. It’s not surprising at all that she took down over twenty of you. Even if she dies here, the cops will come back for the body. Once today’s events are exposed, it might be…”
Lin Yan’s cold gaze fell on the miniature camera hidden in her collar button.
Today, whether it’s her, Kuba, or the Supreme Lord, they have all shown their faces. Once the video spreads, their wanted posters will circulate worldwide. The Chinese police will inevitably join forces with military personnel from various countries to launch a manhunt. There will be no escaping even if they sprout wings.
Tiger finally figured out the situation, his back drenched in cold sweat, “Are you saying she has something on her?”
Lin Yan nodded, using the gun to smack her face.
“That’s right. If she’s going to die, she’ll have to tell us where the thing is before dying.”
