The Passerby Female Supporting Character – Chapter 11
by Little PandaDomineering
Song Linlin opened her eyes drowsily, squinting slightly. Since she hadn’t closed the window before falling asleep yesterday, the morning sunlight fell on her face, too bright to bear, and woke her up.
Still feeling dazed, she rubbed her eyes, sat up straight, and stretched. Outside, daylight was already bright, with merchants calling out their wares on the street, bustling with people and traffic.
It was then that Song Linlin noticed something strange – the room had been unusually quiet. Logically, an inn near such a busy market shouldn’t be this peaceful, especially since the building didn’t appear to have good soundproofing.
Was this Chi Qianning’s doing?
Song Linlin turned her head to see a bulge in the bedding at the innermost part of the bed. The person inside was curled up in the corner, completely covered by the blanket, with only silver-white hair spilling out.
“Really? She’s still sleeping?”
Song Linlin couldn’t help but wonder curiously. After a night’s rest, her recovery ability was remarkable – the pain in her body had mostly subsided. She felt energetic enough to crawl carefully toward the corner.
When she reached the other person’s side, Song Linlin stopped. She cautiously raised her hand and gently lifted the blanket covering the other’s head.
As the corner of the blanket was lifted, the person curled inside gradually came into view. Chi Qianning lay on her side, strands of hair falling across her cheeks. Her eyes were closed, silver-white eyelashes casting shadows beneath, her breathing so light it was almost imperceptible.
Due to her position, her collar had become somewhat loose, revealing a glimpse of her fair, slender neck and collarbone below, along with a tiny red birthmark on the collarbone.
“Oh no, why do I feel like such a pervert?”
Song Linlin’s hand holding the blanket froze as she deeply reflected on her behavior, yet her eyes couldn’t help but continue staring at the other person.
She had never claimed to be a person of strong willpower – if someone were to use beauty to seduce her, Song Linlin knew she would definitely take the bait!
Suddenly, the beauty lying on the bed slightly furrowed her brows, her eyelashes fluttering like white butterfly wings. Then, beneath those silver-white lashes, a pair of red eyes were revealed.
Perhaps still drowsy from just waking up, those red eyes lacked their usual coldness, gazing directly at Song Linlin with a misty look.
Being stared at like this made Song Linlin feel awkward, as if she had been caught peeping at someone.
The only difference was that this wasn’t peeping – she was brazenly lifting someone’s blanket and staring straight at them.
The air suddenly grew silent, and Song Linlin couldn’t think of any excuse to make.
“Enjoying the view?” Chi Qianning, still lying down, spoke first.
Her just-awakened voice was husky, her tone so neutral that one couldn’t tell if it was an angry accusation or flirtation.
Song Linlin couldn’t understand her meaning and could only follow her heart’s instinct, honestly nodding while preparing to apologize.
“Hmm…”
Chi Qianning made an ambiguous sound, the color in her eyes seeming to deepen. Her gaze wandered over Song Linlin’s face, gradually moving downward to rest on her neck.
On the fair neck, a faint blue-green blood vessel was barely visible, causing Chi Qianning’s pupils to unconsciously contract and her fangs to inexplicably itch.
Memories of that night surfaced – the alluring fragrance and that warm, sweet-metallic taste lingered in her mind.
Finally, she withdrew her gaze, looked at Song Linlin, and spoke softly:
“You…”
“Come closer.”
Her gaze was too intense, like a small snake sliding across skin. Song Linlin couldn’t fail to notice Chi Qianning’s unusual state, vaguely guessing what she intended to do.
Meeting those crimson eyes, Song Linlin instinctively sensed danger and didn’t want to move closer.
Seeing her lack of movement, Chi Qianning lost patience to continue urging. The distance between them was already minimal, with Song Linlin lying within arm’s reach.
Giving no chance for refusal, Chi Qianning raised her arm and directly embraced Song Linlin’s neck, forcefully pulling her close to her mouth.
“Wah!”
Song Linlin exclaimed in surprise. With that embrace, her upper body was now directly lying on Chi Qianning’s body. Even through two layers of clothes, she could feel the other’s ice-cold body temperature.
They say girls are made of water, then Chi Qianning must be made of ice, right?
“What… what… what are you doing?” Song Linlin pressed against her, not daring to move randomly. With her neck trapped in the embrace and unable to break free, she could only nervously ask.
However, the other seemed completely oblivious to her unwillingness, self-indulgently licking the spot before her, tongue pressing against the sensitive skin, right above the pulsing pale blue-green blood vessel.
The wet, burning sensation sliding across made Song Linlin shudder, her shoulders involuntarily drawing up, trying to hide that spot.
Yet Chi Qianning’s arm firmly encircled her nape, making it impossible for Song Linlin to escape or break free no matter how she struggled.
“Don’t move.”
Chi Qianning’s voice came from below, her tone carrying displeasure, her exhaled breath hitting the recently licked spot as she spoke.
Her arm around Song Linlin’s neck tightened slightly. Feeling the other’s trembling, Chi Qianning gently patted Song Linlin’s back in reassurance.
“I want to bite you,” Chi Qianning said, leaving no room for refusal, then continued, “Let me have one bite.”
“No, no!”
Song Linlin hurriedly refused, afraid she would bite at any moment, her speech quickening, “A bite really hurts! And, and it will definitely leave a mark. If I just took a nap in the room and suddenly have a bite mark on my neck, people will definitely be suspicious!”
“You can’t be so domineering, we can discuss this properly…”
After she rattled off this long speech without pause, Chi Qianning below merely scoffed dismissively.
“Such a small mark – you think I can’t help you heal it?” Chi Qianning asked confidently.
Song Linlin caught the key point, eyes widening in shock: “Then why didn’t you remove the marks last time?”
So you could do it all along but just didn’t want to, huh?
Chi Qianning laughed lightly, “Weren’t you the one who called me domineering?”
Song Linlin was speechless, only able to sigh inwardly: Indeed, there’s no reasoning with a snake…
Seeing her silent, Chi Qianning continued pleasantly: “I’ve changed my mind – let me have two bites.”
Song Linlin turned her head in shock – they were so close that if she lowered her head just slightly more, their lips would meet.
At this proximity, Song Linlin clearly saw the teasing and playfulness in the other’s eyes.
“Though I called you domineering, you don’t have to be so committed to living up to it…”
Song Linlin really didn’t want to bargain with Chi Qianning anymore, lest she continue being unreasonable. She turned her head and extended her neck toward the other’s mouth.
Steeling herself, she said decisively: “Stop talking and just bite me already!”
“As you wish.”
Lips pressed against skin, teeth grazing the surface, bringing waves of tingling sensation. After adjusting the angle, sharp fangs pierced the skin, blood welling up only to be immediately licked away by tongue, filling the oral cavity with blood’s metallic sweetness.
“Ah…”
At the moment her skin was pierced, Song Linlin couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.
The metallic-sweet taste of blood stimulated Chi Qianning’s neural pathways, awakening animal instincts, the bloodlust growing stronger.
She couldn’t help but increase the pressure, satisfyingly drawing more blood, greedily and desperately sucking, swallowing the blood with its fatally enticing fragrance.
“Mmm… hah…”
Song Linlin covered her mouth, trying her best not to make strange sounds, yet couldn’t control the soft panting that escaped brokenly and intermittently.
She felt that Chi Qianning’s bite was harder than last time, the stinging in her neck continuing unabated, the tingling spreading throughout her body.
Her spiritual power was being rapidly drained and plundered.
Indeed, Chi Qianning was biting deeper than last time, and she certainly knew it would hurt – or rather, she was doing it deliberately.
Recalling how Song Linlin had returned from one outing wearing someone else’s hairpin, and how when she said she wouldn’t go out together, Song Linlin actually left.
These things inexplicably irritated Chi Qianning, like returning to when she had just been born and her prey, though right at her mouth, had escaped.
That was a distant memory, occurring only during her naive period. Now she was a mature hunter, and shouldn’t let such things happen.
This awkward mindset made Chi Qianning bite down harder again, as if venting all the discomfort bottled up inside.
Still, Chi Qianning maintained control – at most, this would only make Song Linlin hurt more, without causing any other issues.
By now, Song Linlin was completely drained of strength, having no excess energy to resist the other’s actions. She could only lie limply on Chi Qianning, allowing her to drink her blood and spiritual power.
After what seemed like forever, just when Song Linlin felt she would be completely drained, the other finally released her firm bite.
Chi Qianning pulled back slightly, eyes fixed on the wet wound. The fair skin was covered in moisture, and as the teeth withdrew from the bright red wound, blood still seeped out, diffusing across the wet surface.
She leaned in again to lick the wound, cleaning the overflowing blood. As she licked, the wound healed rapidly, leaving no trace.
Except for the red mark left by the forceful sucking, there were no other abnormalities.
“Hah… it hurts…”
Song Linlin lay on Chi Qianning, weakly mumbling.
After her bite, Chi Qianning was in good spirits, allowing the other to continue lying boneless on top of her. She even good-naturedly raised her hand to stroke Song Linlin’s head, like petting an animal.
“The wound has healed,” she said lightly, her tone lifting at the end, clearly in a good mood.
“Oh…”
Song Linlin had no energy to respond, just wanting to lie still. Though Chi Qianning’s body was ice-cold, lying like this was quite comfortable, at least soft enough.
“You’re really weak,” Chi Qianning couldn’t help saying. She had barely absorbed any spiritual power, yet the other’s power was almost depleted.
Not even enough to fill a tooth gap.
Such a weak human, truly pitiful.
Song Linlin: …
If you’re complaining about my weakness, then maybe don’t drink from me…
The author has something to say:
Just a little snake who’s conflicted inside but won’t admit it~ She’s only having her way now, later Song will be the one biting her.
