After Being Scummed – Chapter 57
by Little PandaTeacher Zuo is Super Sweet!
It was a long kiss. After several repetitions, Zuo Jingyou struggled to get up from Yin Bai’s lap. Bracing her hands on Yin Bai’s shoulders, she looked down at her, lightly biting her lip as she said, “I have to go shower and rest…”
Yin Bai wrapped her arms around Zuo Jingyou’s waist and looked up at her. “Then you should rest quickly… Don’t sleep too much, and remember to wake up early to see me.”
Zuo Jingyou let out a helpless laugh. She reached out to pinch Yin Bai’s cheek and said with gentle warmth, “Since you’re so reluctant to part with me, why did you run off to a place so far away?”
“Well, about that…” Yin Bai, still hugging Zuo Jingyou’s waist, let her eyes drift about and started being evasive1. “I’ve already left, and you’ve already come, so can you just not pursue this matter, please?”
Zuo Jingyou reached out and lightly scraped her cheek, huffing softly. “Fine, seeing as your attitude is pretty good.”
Yin Bai smiled, took Zuo Jingyou’s hand, and pulled her down for a light peck on the cheek before letting her go. A little embarrassed, she said, “Then you go take a shower. I’m leaving…”
“If you need anything, you can call the housekeeper here, Nina2. She’s a local but can speak English…”
Zuo Jingyou nodded. “Okay.”
Yin Bai tugged at her sleeve, looking at her with reluctance. “Of course, you can also call me on my phone if you need anything. My room is just diagonally across from yours. If you call for me, I’ll come right over.”
Zuo Jingyou looked at her, her eyes full of gentleness. “Okay.”
Seeing there was nothing else to remind her of, Yin Bai finally, reluctantly, let go of Zuo Jingyou’s hand and maneuvered her wheelchair out of Zuo Jingyou’s room, dejected.
Watching her lonely retreating back, Zuo Jingyou felt she was like a pitiful little puppy—quite endearing, but it also made one want to tease her a little.
However, after the twists and turns of the past few days, Zuo Jingyou didn’t have the energy to tease Yin Bai. She needed to rest for a bit before she could properly discipline this little devil who had made her travel thousands of miles to this springtime place.
After leaving Zuo Jingyou’s room, Yin Bai returned to her own study. She had originally wanted to grab a book to read, but her overly cheerful mood prevented her from getting into anything.
One moment she was flipping through a book, the next she was checking her phone to see if Zuo Jingyou had sent her a message.
Maybe she’s already finished her shower? Perhaps I could give her a call and ask if she needs any massage services. Yin Bai hugged a book and began talking to the lamp on her desk. Or maybe the fatigue from the long journey has made her body too tired to sleep peacefully. I could tell her a bedtime story.
“Dear little lamp, do you think I should give her a call or send her a message?”
Of course, the little trinket couldn’t answer Yin Bai’s question, so she made the decision on her own. After forty minutes had passed, Yin Bai gave Zuo Jingyou a call.
The phone rang with a du du du for quite a few rings before it was finally answered. From the phone came Zuo Jingyou’s voice, as lovely as a nightingale’s song, “Yin Bai, what’s wrong?”
Yin Bai immediately straightened her back and said softly to Zuo Jingyou on the other end, “I was just thinking, with the jet lag, you might be too uncomfortable to sleep…”
Zuo Jingyou smiled. Hugging her quilt, she squinted her eyes and rolled over in bed, saying to Yin Bai on the phone in a soft voice, “I am a little. So, do you want to come and keep me company?”
The corners of Yin Bai’s lips instantly curled up. She did her best to suppress her smile, her tone light and cheerful as she said to Zuo Jingyou, “Alright, since you’ve so kindly invited me, I’ll come over and keep you company.”
“Oh, right, what storybook do you want to hear? I could maybe bring one over to read to you.”
Zuo Jingyou’s lips curved down in a somewhat helpless smile. “Any book will do. As long as you come over, that’s all that matters.”
Yin Bai casually grabbed a book and wheeled herself toward Zuo Jingyou’s room. Arriving at the door, she pressed her fingerprint and pushed her wheelchair straight towards the bedroom.
Maneuvering her wheelchair unobstructed into the bedroom, the first thing Yin Bai saw was Zuo Jingyou lying prone on the bed.
She was wearing a light purple nightgown, lying at the foot of the bed with her chin propped in her hands, looking toward the doorway. The loose-fitting nightgown had slipped from her shoulders, vaguely revealing the snow-white, delicate skin of her shoulder and neck. Her waterfall of black hair was scattered over her shoulders, the ends teasingly obscuring her pale skin, the concealment sparking infinite fantasies.
Yin Bai looked up, and upon seeing this scene, she instantly stopped her wheelchair. She looked up at the woman on the bed, not daring to advance another step.
For some reason, she had a premonition: if she took one more step forward, she might not be able to leave this room today.
Seeing Yin Bai stop, a trace of surprise flashed in the eyes of the woman on the bed. Then, she smiled faintly. Propping her chin, she gazed softly at Yin Bai and asked in a low voice, “Why did you stop?”
The woman on the bed raised a hand and beckoned to Yin Bai. Like a garden sprite emerging under the moonlight, she winked at Yin Bai, her smile filled with a myriad of charms3. “Yin Bai, come here…”
Her name spoken so directly, Yin Bai pressed her lips together firmly. In the end, she couldn’t resist the temptation. She raised her hand to the joystick and continued to propel the wheelchair, rolling whirr whirr toward Zuo Jingyou.
Seeing her approach, the woman on the bed sat up and cast her gentle gaze upon her.
Yin Bai stopped the wheelchair at the foot of the bed. After locking it in place, she looked up at Zuo Jingyou on the bed and pretended to be nonchalant. “I’m here. What story do you want me to read?”
Zuo Jingyou couldn’t help but laugh at her serious demeanor.
She leaned forward, placed her hands on Yin Bai’s shoulders, her breath like orchids4 near her lips. “Yin Bai, how old are you, really?”
The silky sleeves slipped down Zuo Jingyou’s wrists, revealing her snow-white, creamy arms. Yin Bai glanced sideways at the hands resting on her shoulders, suppressed her stirring heart, and pretended to ponder for a moment before saying, “Three?”
Zuo Jingyou laughed in spite of herself. She reached out her right hand, pinched Yin Bai’s chin, and forced her to look up. “Don’t say that,” she said with a grin. “It’ll make me feel guilty.”
Yin Bai looked up, her gaze sliding from Zuo Jingyou’s exquisite face, past her red lips and delicate collarbones, finally landing on the open collar of her nightgown. It took a good while for her to find her voice. “What… what do you mean by that?”
Zuo Jingyou looked down at her, a dark light in her eyes. “What do you think? Why did I travel so far to come to your side?”
Yin Bai forced herself to snap back to reality and meet Zuo Jingyou’s gaze, feigning composure. “To be with me, I know.”
Yin Bai hugged the book in her arms a little tighter, looking at Zuo Jingyou as she tentatively probed, “So now, are we… do you want to… with me…”
Zuo Jingyou caressed Yin Bai’s chin with her thumb and looked at her softly. “With me what?”
Yin Bai lowered her head. With an awoo, she opened her mouth and took the arm Zuo Jingyou had placed on her shoulder between her lips, mumbling indistinctly, “Be in a relationship with me.”
She kept her head down, so shy that she buried her face in Zuo Jingyou’s arm. Her exposed ears were already faintly tinged with pink.
She really is shy…
As Zuo Jingyou thought this, her hands slid down, wrapped around Yin Bai’s waist, and pulled her up from the wheelchair. Yin Bai, still holding the book, cried out in alarm, “Zuo Jingyou…”
In the next second, with a slight exertion of her lower back, Zuo Jingyou brought Yin Bai’s entire body onto the bed, pressing her down on top of herself.
Lying on Zuo Jingyou, Yin Bai quickly looked up, her face filled with shock. “How… how are you so strong?”
Heavens, a person as big as her was plucked from the wheelchair □□ by Zuo Jingyou like pulling up a radish5!
Zuo Jingyou lay beneath her, raising a hand to caress Yin Bai’s lips, smiling irrepressibly. “Didn’t I tell you? I’ve been working out…”
“Lifting you is more than easy enough.”
As she said this, Zuo Jingyou wrapped her arms around Yin Bai’s waist, looked up, and gently bit her lip. “Were you really planning on telling me a story?” she asked with a smile.
Yin Bai let go of the book, propping herself up on Zuo Jingyou with one hand. As she kissed Zuo Jingyou delicately, she answered indistinctly, “I didn’t think you meant this…”
Zuo Jingyou held the back of her head and asked with a grin, “Then what did you think I meant?”
“I thought you wouldn’t be this fast…”
“Hm? This fast with what?”
Yin Bai couldn’t continue. She lowered her head, bit open the collar of Zuo Jingyou’s nightgown, and didn’t say another word.
When everything began, Zuo Jingyou started to reflect on whether she should have provoked Yin Bai. While she was indeed very cute, she wasn’t someone who had experienced nothing at all. In fact, it was quite the opposite—the woman’s skills were ridiculously good.
It was a very difficult experience to describe. Zuo Jingyou was held in Yin Bai’s arms, and with every breath, she could faintly smell the subtle fragrance of roses coming from the other woman.
That kind of scent was clearly not from perfume or fragrance oil, but was a scent that emanated from Yin Bai herself.
Zuo Jingyou had once heard a female friend of hers say that when two people are in love, they can smell a fragrance on each other that they themselves cannot detect…
So was Yin Bai a rose? Her little rose?
Zuo Jingyou’s head was terribly muddled. She held Yin Bai’s head in both hands, her fingers sinking into her black hair, and as her consciousness began to fade, she suddenly pulled her into a fierce embrace.
The great loss of fluids left Zuo Jingyou intensely thirsty. Holding Yin Bai, she panted delicately and said, “Yin Bai… water…”
Yin Bai gathered her into her arms, leaned down, and gazed at her gently with those grey-blue eyes. “There’s no water prepared in the room. Should I have Nina send some up for you?”
Zuo Jingyou shook her head. She raised a hand to hook Yin Bai’s neck, met her lips, and kissed her.
Pinned beneath her, Yin Bai lovingly raised a hand to stroke her hair and mumbled, “Kissing me won’t make you feel any better, you know.”
But even as she said it, she still hugged Zuo Jingyou, who was on top of her, wrapping an arm around her waist and returning her kiss.
A while later, or perhaps a long time, Yin Bai propped herself up from the bed. She held Zuo Jingyou in her lap, gently kissing her shoulder.
Zuo Jingyou sat astride her, her shoulders shivering restlessly. She hugged Yin Bai’s shoulders and buried her face in the crook of her neck.
The afternoon sun shone into the room through the fluttering gauze curtains. In the bright sunlight, Yin Bai held the woman in her arms—a creature like a snow-white spirit—and refused to let go for a long, long time.
A breeze slipped in through the open window, carrying with it a sound as lovely as a bird’s song, scattering it throughout the room. That sound was like a plaintive plea6, incomparably stirring to the soul.
