Teacher Zuo, Teach Me Some More.

Flying from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere, plus layovers and other travel time, meant that even if Zuo Jingyou packed as quickly as possible, it would still take at least two days. To welcome Zuo Jingyou, Yin Bai made full use of these two days, having the staff clean the house inside and out.

The wait was always torturous. During these two long days, Yin Bai pushed her wheelchair up and down throughout the house, facing the paintings she had hung on the walls, her flower vases, her tea sets, her roses, and everything else, asking again and again: “Will she like it?”

Will she like everything on the island?

In the end, the small objects around her, just like her staff, seemed to say: “Everything is already perfect. Your esteemed guest will surely love it.”

Every time she got this answer, Yin Bai would be elated for a while. But after the happiness faded, she would sink back into a state of trepidation.

On the morning of the third day, Yin Bai received a call from Zhang Yu, who said that she and Zuo Jingyou had already landed at a nearby airport and were heading to the port. Yin Bai immediately set out, having someone take the yacht to the marina1 to pick Zuo Jingyou up.

At a little past eight in the morning, Yin Bai arrived at the marina. She wore a light white blouse and grayish-blue suit trousers, along with a wide-brimmed hat, and sat on a chair on the yacht’s deck.

The morning sun rose behind her, casting a brilliant golden light across the pale blue sea. The wind blew in from the distant ocean, stirring up waves that lapped against the yacht’s sleek hull, creating countless ripples. Gulls took flight in alarm, beating their wings as they soared into the heavens, leaving a moving silhouette against the azure sky.

Yin Bai sat in her chair, holding her cane, restlessly tapping it against the deck. Tuk, tuk, tuk.

Bathed in the morning light, she constantly looked up, hoping to see that familiar figure sooner.

After what felt like an eternity, a black sedan emerged from a distance, driving straight toward the marina against the morning light. It slowed to a stop as it approached the docking area.

Yin Bai’s grip on her cane tightened instantly, her eyes fixed on the black car. A moment later, she saw the door open, and Zuo Jingyou, dressed in a long white dress with a thin black belt cinching her waist, stepped out of the car.

The moment she saw her figure, Yin Bai clenched her cane, forcefully suppressing the urge to call out, pushing all her shouts back down her throat.

    She’s here, she’s really here!

In the brilliant morning light, Zuo Jingyou, in her long white dress and with her waterfall of long hair loose, walked step by step along the port in her high heels, heading toward Yin Bai.

Upon spotting Yin Bai on the deck, Zuo Jingyou’s lips curved into a smile. She raised a hand, waving a greeting to Yin Bai on the deck. “Yin Bai!”

The sea breeze gently lifted her long black hair. The woman in the white dress stood on the pier, facing the golden morning sun, her smile radiant.

Sitting on the deck, Yin Bai raised a hand to her heart, her eyes filled with nothing but her. She broke into a smile and, likewise, raised her hand to wave back at Zuo Jingyou in reply.

Zuo Jingyou’s eyes crinkled in a smile. Facing the sea breeze, she ran toward her from the port like a seagull and quickly boarded the yacht.

Yin Bai gripped the cane beside her, supporting herself as she stood up and walked toward the deck’s cabin door. Just as she reached the entrance, Zuo Jingyou came aboard the yacht.

The two came face-to-face at the doorway. When their eyes met, Yin Bai looked at Zuo Jingyou’s face, a thousand words caught in her throat, unable to utter a single one.

Zuo Jingyou stood before her, looking up with eyes full of shattered light. She chuckled softly, opened her arms to Yin Bai, and said in a gentle voice, “Hug me.”

A smile unconsciously appeared on Yin Bai’s face. She let go of her cane, leaned her body forward into Zuo Jingyou, and wrapped her arms tightly around her.

Zuo Jingyou caught her, supporting Yin Bai with her own body. Her hands passed under Yin Bai’s armpits to hold her tight, and she rested her head on Yin Bai’s shoulder, saying as if in a dream, “I was so scaredโ€ฆ that I’d never see you again. Thank goodnessโ€ฆ your call came.”

Yin Bai wrapped one arm around her waist and cupped the back of her head with the other, pressing her tightly into her embrace. With reddened eyes, she said, “Noโ€ฆ I’m glad you came.”

It was only because she came that I dared to run out from my secret base.

Yin Bai held Zuo Jingyou tighter, raising a hand to lovingly stroke her hair, holding her for a long, long time. The morning light was bright, deeply etching the silhouette of their embrace onto the deck.

After a long while, Yin Bai finally released Zuo Jingyou. Stroking her hair, she looked down at her with a wandering gaze and said, “Weโ€ฆ I’ll take you back first.”

Zuo Jingyou had been traveling all this way without a proper rest and was now extremely tired. She kept her arms around Yin Bai’s waist and nodded lightly. “Okay.”

Zuo Jingyou bent down, picked up Yin Bai’s cane, and placed it in her hand. Leaning on her cane again, Yin Bai took Zuo Jingyou’s hand and led her inside the yacht, taking her back to the island.

After disembarking from the yacht, they took a car for another stretch before arriving at the center of the island. Yin Bai got out of the car and into her wheelchair, then turned her head to look at Zuo Jingyou, who was pushing her from behind, and chattered, “What do you want to eat? I had someone prepare breakfast, both Chinese and Western style.”

“Or maybe you want to take a bath and rest first.”

Along the way, spring flowers were in brilliant bloom, the air overflowing with the breath of spring. Pushing the wheelchair, Zuo Jingyou had no mind for the bustling scenery; her gaze was entirely fixed on Yin Bai in the wheelchair before her.

Perhaps the spring scenery was too bright, making the present Yin Bai seem even more fair-skinned and beautiful, adorable and captivating.

Zuo Jingyou pushed her wheelchair, following her directions. Hearing her question, she chuckled lightly and said, “Don’t keep asking me. What about you? Are you hungry? Have you had breakfast?”

Yin Bai pursed her lips in a smile, saying with some embarrassment, “Not yet.” She had gotten up at the crack of dawn to pick Zuo Jingyou up from the marina; how could she have had time for breakfast?

Zuo Jingyou made the decision for her, saying with a smile, “Then let’s have breakfast. Besides, Zhang Yu has been rushing around all morning too. On the plane, she was saying she was starving.”

Trailing behind them like a giant lightbulb2, Zhang Yu finally heard her own name. She sighed and said languidly from the back, “Exactly, BOSS. I’ve been running around helter-skelter. Have a little consideration and let Teacher Zuo and me have a good meal!”

She had long felt that something was off about Yin Bai’s runaway trip this time. After Yin Bai left, she had suspected there was something fishy going on between her and Zuo Jingyou.

Now, looking at themโ€ฆ what fishy business? Their affair was practically overflowing!

She had to hand it to her boss. It was one thing to be a drama queen with her subordinates, but to be even more extra with the person she likedโ€ฆ When other people ran away, at most they’d go from one district to another. But she? She ran straight from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere!

It was only because Zuo Jingyou was so good-tempered that she was willing to chase her wife a thousand miles, dropping all her work to find her and patiently coaxing this little drama queen.

If it were anyone else, they probably would have given up long ago.

Sigh, maybe this is true love.

Zhang Yu lamented endlessly in her heart, casting a resentful look at Yin Bai in the wheelchair ahead.

Yin Bai turned her head and met her woeful expression, feeling inexplicably guilty. She nodded and said, “Alright, alright, I’ll let you eat your fill!”

Zhang Yu brightened up at once. She bounced forward a few steps and prattled on beside Yin Bai, “Also, BOSS, you left me all alone on the plateau. I was so worried about youโ€ฆ worried you weren’t eating well, sleeping wellโ€ฆ Oh, the anxietyโ€ฆ Look, look, I’ve even grown a white hairโ€ฆ”

Beside them, Zuo Jingyou couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh at Zhang Yu’s melodramatic performance. She nodded and chimed in with great approval, “That’s right. Assistant Zhang has missed you so much.”

Zhang Yu nodded vigorously. “Yes, yes! So, BOSS, considering how hard I’ve worked, about this year’s year-end bonusโ€ฆ”

Yin Bai, knowing she was in the wrong, gave Zhang Yu a helpless look. “Fine, fine, I’ll have HR give you more!”

Having secured the promise of a raise, Zhang Yu, with Zuo Jingyou’s cooperation, gave an embellished account of how they had suffered in the wind on the plateau, how much they had missed Yin Bai, how they had rushed over in a hurry, and how they hadn’t slept or eaten well for several nights.

Although Yin Bai knew there was a large element of performance in this, the thought of Zuo Jingyou going through so much trouble for her made her heart ache with a dull pain. Therefore, during breakfast, Yin Bai endlessly served Zuo Jingyou food, only stopping when Zuo Jingyou said she had had enough.

After they shared a sumptuous breakfast, Yin Bai, in her wheelchair, escorted Zuo Jingyou to her room door.

She pressed her fingerprint to unlock the door and led Zuo Jingyou into the meticulously arranged guest room. Looking up at her, she said very shyly, “I didn’t know what kind of room you’d like, so I just tidied it up like this. If you don’t think it’s suitable, I’ll have someone redecorate it tomorrow.”

Zuo Jingyou looked down at her and smiled softly. “No, it’s wonderful, Yin Bai. This is already wonderful.”

Yin Bai clasped her hands in front of her stomach, fiddling with her fingers in embarrassment. “I’m glad you like it. Oh, right, I’ve already had your luggage brought in. It’s in the walk-in closetโ€ฆ After your bath, you should get some rest.”

Zuo Jingyou nodded, acknowledging with an “Okay.”

Yin Bai looked up at her and tentatively probed, “Soโ€ฆ see you at dinner?”

Zuo Jingyou gazed down at her and chuckled softly. The next moment, she leaned down and embraced Yin Bai in her wheelchair, pressing a kiss to her lips as she whispered, “See you at dinner.”

An immense warmth enveloped Yin Bai, instantly wrapping around the heart that had been fraught with anxiety for days. Yin Bai reached out, wrapping an arm around Zuo Jingyou’s waist and tilting her head up to receive her kiss. Her lips parted slightly, gently taking Zuo Jingyou’s lower lip and deepening the kiss.

On this low-altitude island in the Southern Hemisphere, with no need to spare a thought for oxygen, Yin Bai focused intently on kissing the woman in her arms. In this meticulous and lingering kiss, the woman embracing her soon went soft at the waist.

Sensing this keenly, Yin Bai freed one hand to lock the wheelchair in place, then reached out to pull the woman onto her lap, tilting her head up to kiss her with lingering passion.

Zuo Jingyou raised her hands, wrapping them around her neck. As the kiss deepened, she clutched at the collar of Yin Bai’s shirt at the nape of her neck, unable to bear it.

Only when Zuo Jingyou could take no more did Yin Bai release her, looking down at her with gentle eyes.

Zuo Jingyou leaned against Yin Bai, looking up at her. Her eyes were shimmering with affection, her lips glistening. She panted delicately for a while, and once her breathing steadied, Zuo Jingyou raised a hand and gently stroked Yin Bai’s red lips with her thumb, chiding softly, “I thought you didn’t know how to kiss.”

The first time, you were as stiff as a wooden doll.

Yin Bai parted her lips and extended the tip of her tongue to lick lightly at the pad of her finger. Zuo Jingyou flinched, about to pull her hand back, but her upward gaze met Yin Bai’s.

Yin Bai looked down at her, her eyes incredibly gentle. “Teacher Zuo, you teach me a few more times, and I’ll learn.”

Zuo Jingyou froze for a second. In the next moment, Yin Bai leaned in and kissed her again.

    Sorry for not updating yesterday!

One more thingโ€ฆ is the site really filled with ads? I’m using auto ads for adsense so I don’t really know if the ads are much more aggressive to your side than mine, which I only see at least 2-4 ads. Please tell me if this is the case and I’ll adjust it!

I’m so happy that they’re finally together. The ads are only bad if you click away and come back then they pop up each time.

There are a few ads on refreshing/loading a page but the dangerous ones from earlier in the year seem to be gone so no complaints from me!
