Drunk Panda

When He Ying emerged from the kitchen, she saw Jing Dan drinking milk and laughing. Her steps involuntarily paused for a moment.

Could she have been possessed by an evil spirit?

Fortunately, Jing Dan quickly returned to normal, otherwise He Ying would have wanted to take her home again, to have Lady He take a look at her.

After breakfast, the two of them arrived at the company together. Upon arriving, Jing Dan immediately pulled Hu Tu over, wanting to hand over all of her work to her.

Hu Tu: “…” To say or not to say, she had dug a pit for herself to jump into.

She yawned tiredly, looking weary.

Damn it, she never expected that after all these years of mischief-making, she would still be scolded by someone to the point where she couldn’t raise her head, and she couldn’t even retort back! It was truly because of her big mouth telling Jing Dan that she liked He Ying. Now that the person involved has come looking for her, she had completely become a scapegoat.

Hu Tu felt frustrated. Did she look weak? Xu Yu was lively and cheerful in front of He Ying, and looked completely exasperated in front of Jing Dan. How was she so stubborn in front of her? Just because she had been suppressed by her twice before?

Damn it, if she didn’t have a new lover now, she wouldn’t want to do anything that would disappoint her. Xu Yu would definitely have to pay the price for her arrogant attitude! How dare she treat her so differently!

Thinking of her new lover, she felt helpless. She was angrily pulled by Xu Yu last night and had a verbal beating; it caused her date with her new lover to be cancelled. Her new lover was also stubborn and directly blocked her. The thought made her angry. If it weren’t for Xu Yu, would she end up in such a mess!

“Snap out of it!” Jing Dan slapped her on the shoulder.

Hu Tu: “…” Can you please not use that exorcist tone from TV shows?

Looking at the pile of work that needed attention, she truly felt like she had brought this upon herself. However, she couldn’t bring herself to let go of the opportunity for Jing Dan to appear on the show. She could only resign herself to following Jing Dan as she handed over her work, only to realize that Jing Dan’s usual workload was not as light as she had thought…

Jing Dan did have a few talents in business management…

He Ying went off to train those artists in etiquette again. After handing over the work, Hu Tu suddenly started a bit of gossip: “Now that you’re living together, do you notice any differences?”

At first sight, when He Ying moved into Jing Dan’s house, she thought He Ying was really crafty, using such a lame excuse to deceive Jing Dan. However, after seeing the videos posted online by He Ying’s fake fans about entering He Ying’s house, she felt that she was narrow-minded. Who is He Ying? How could she think like that about her!

But even with He Ying moving into Jing Dan’s house, she still felt that He Ying had some ulterior motives. After all, with He Ying currently having no pressure from running a dance troupe, why not just rent a place, stay in a hotel, or even come to her place to live? Why go to Jing Dan’s place? She felt that He Ying must want to get closer to Jing Dan to gain something!

She just didn’t know if she had gained what she wanted now that she was closer to Jing Dan.

Jing Dan looked at her strangely. What difference could it make for her and He Ying to live together? She lived alone before, and now there’s one more person?

Looking at Jing Dan’s gaze, Hu Tu fell silent, ultimately deciding that silence is golden and began to mourn silently for He Ying.

Can that guy still deceive people in this lifetime? She doesn’t even need Hu Tu’s help to trip them up. Just with Jing Dan alone, she’s already an insurmountable mountain.

Jing Dan had no idea what was going on in Hu Tu’s mind. After handing over all her work, she promptly packed up and left to find He Ying.

Hu Tu: “…” But Jing Dan’s actions made Hu Tu believe that there was hope for He Ying.

Jing Dan walked outside the training room and saw He Ying instructing the artists on their posture with a small bamboo stick. The earnest manner in which she worked made Jing Dan slightly dazed, as they say earnest workers are the most charming.

At this moment, He Ying was truly captivating.

Jing Dan couldn’t help but regret that He Ying was not willing to act as an artist in TV dramas. With He Ying’s captivating attributes, she would definitely be even more popular than she is now!

At this moment, Jing Dan didn’t realize that being an artist could possibly involve intimate scenes like kissing or bed scenes. If she had realized it, she might have thought she was foolish for thinking that way earlier. Why should someone else get to taste the jelly she hadn’t even tried yet, just because of their job?!

He Ying noticed Jing Dan outside, but since the class was only half over, she couldn’t leave the artists unattended. So, she patiently continued teaching until it was almost time, then declared the class over and walked over to where Jing Dan was.

“Already finished handing over so quickly?” Every time He Ying saw Jing Dan, a smile would unconsciously appear on her face, and her gaze towards her seemed to naturally exude a soft glow.

Jing Dan tilted her head, raised her hand to help He Ying tuck the stray strands of hair behind her ear, and then replied seriously, “Very fast, Hu Tu is very clever!”

Surprised, He Ying looked at her, not expecting Jing Dan to praise Hu Tu for being clever. Would Hu Tu be moved to tears when she found out?

She chuckled at her own thoughts. Perhaps being around Jing Dan for a long time had made her thoughts somewhat whimsical, influenced by her.

“Well, after finishing another class here, I can wrap up, and then we can go back early to prepare the things we’ll need for tomorrow’s program.”

Upon hearing this, Jing Dan obediently nodded and said, “Then I’ll wait for you here.”

He Ying lightly smiled, “Great.”

Perhaps with Jing Dan watching nearby, the artists were afraid of making a bad impression in front of their boss. They exerted extra effort to do better, which did save He Ying some energy. She even contemplated whether she should let Jing Dan come down and stroll around from time to time in the future.

After the training ended and informing Hu Tu, the two of them straightforwardly went home. They realized that once they started the show, it wouldn’t be as convenient as now. So, they went to buy groceries together, deciding to have a more lavish meal tonight, reminiscent of a pre-apocalypse celebration.

This time, they prepared a plentiful and abundant meal, and to her surprise, Jing Dan took out a bottle of wine.

He Ying looked at the bottle of red wine in Jing Dan’s hand, slightly puzzled. “What are you going to do with that?”

Could it be that she wants to drink? But with her limited alcohol tolerance, what if she gets drunk?

“Don’t you really like this?” Jing Dan looked puzzled. She often saw He Ying enjoy a few drinks by herself. Every time she saw He Ying drinking alone, she actually wanted to join her. However, recalling her embarrassing experiences of getting drunk in the past, she feared making a fool of herself again after drinking.

He Ying chuckled softly, finally nodding, “I do like it, but you can’t drink.”

“No! I want to drink!” Jing Dan looked serious, “I am an adult now, adults can drink!”

In the past, her aunt had prevented her from wearing makeup and drinking because she was considered too young. But now that she was an adult, makeup was already applied, so of course, drinking had to be included as well!

He Ying remained silent, observing her earnest expression, and asked again, “Are you sure?”

Jing Dan nodded firmly, “Absolutely sure! And I plan to drink more in the future! I’ve heard people say that alcohol tolerance is built up through practice. Once I improve my tolerance, I won’t have to worry about others giving me drinks anymore!”

(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)

To think that a spirit like her would be afraid of alcohol, it was simply outrageous!

He Ying: “…” It made some sense, but not entirely logical.

He Ying chuckled, “Alright, but you can’t drink too much.” They were at home now, and with her by her side, if she wanted to drink, she could. Having her there should prevent anything from happening.

Jing Dan nodded solemnly, clearly feeling somewhat wary of the drink as well.

Seeing her determination to drink, He Ying took the initiative to take the wine, poured herself a third of it, and then poured a shallow amount for Jing Dan.

Jing Dan frowned, “I want the same amount as you!”

He Ying: “…” Helplessly, she poured Jing Dan the same amount as herself.

“Let’s not drink on an empty stomach, have something else to eat first,” He Ying softly advised.

“Okay.” Jing Dan obediently followed her advice and happily ate some food first. After all, compared to the wine, food was more appealing to her.

Once she had eaten enough, He Ying raised her glass with a smile and said, “Shall we toast?”

Jing Dan looked at the raised glass and mimicked her, gently clinking their glasses together. Hearing the light tinkling sound of the glasses touching, she smiled softly.

Seeing Jing Dan smile, He Ying’s smile softened even more, and her gaze remained fixed on her, unable to look away.

Jing Dan raised her glass and took a sip, feeling a slight bitterness at first followed by the pleasant aftertaste of the wine. Tilting her head, she thought it wasn’t too bad and took another sip.

“Be careful, don’t drink too quickly,” He Ying advised helplessly.

“Okay.” Jing Dan set her glass down, but not long after, she saw He Ying drinking and found herself picking up her glass for another sip. As she continued to drink gradually, the glass was soon empty.

Frowning slightly, Jing Dan’s voice softened with a hint of vulnerability as she said, “I want more.”

He Ying paused in her drinking, raising her eyes to see Jing Dan’s slightly blurred gaze, realizing she was probably a little tipsy. For a moment, she was silent, knowing Jing Dan didn’t handle alcohol well, but she hadn’t expected it to be to this extent.

“No, you can’t drink anymore,” He Ying shook her head, refusing. If this guy drank too much later and felt unwell, what would they do?

Jing Dan’s frown deepened, appearing somewhat aggrieved at He Ying’s refusal. “I want to drink! I still want to drink!”

She had just started to taste the wine, why wouldn’t she be allowed to drink more?

He Ying: “…”

Seeing no response, Jing Dan stood up, her steps appearing somewhat unsteady, and made her way to He Ying’s side. Feeling weak, she directly leaned towards He Ying’s direction and started to fall over!

He Ying was afraid that she might fall, so she quickly caught Jing Dan in her arms. Seeing how unsteady she was standing, He Ying really wanted to help her steady herself in this moment.

However, Jing Dan had no idea what He Ying was thinking. She looked at the glass of wine in He Ying’s hand and simply took it, finishing it in one gulp! After drinking it all, she still looked somewhat unsatisfied, wrinkling her nose and muttering, “I want more!”

He Ying: “…” What else do you want when you’re already like this?

“I want more!” Jing Dan’s voice was a bit louder this time.

He Ying took the glass from her hand and said softly, “Let’s be good and stop drinking, okay?”

Jing Dan pouted, raising her eyes to He Ying as if her words had deeply saddened her, looking at her with an extremely aggrieved expression.

He Ying’s heart skipped a beat. The person she liked was leaning against her, giving her such a look. It was impossible for her not to have any thoughts.

She closed her eyes, trying hard not to look at Jing Dan, not wanting to be swayed by her and do something inappropriate. At the same time, she tried to lift her up, but Jing Dan seemed to stick to her even more, refusing to get up no matter how much she tried to push her.

“Let’s be good and stop drinking. Later, we’ll take a bath and go to sleep, okay?” He Ying tried to make her voice softer, hoping that the slightly intoxicated person could better listen to her words.

“No!” Jing Dan muttered, wrinkling her nose, leaning towards He Ying’s neck, finding comfort in the scent, and burying her head in her neck.

He Ying: “…”

The warm breath hit her skin, quickly causing a thin layer of tingling sensation. Her ears gradually grew hot, and the hand resting on Jing Dan felt somewhat awkward.

“He Ying—” Jing Dan called out.

He Ying’s heart skipped a beat, her defenses completely collapsing at being called by her. Her voice softened further. “What’s wrong?”

“I want to drink more!”

He Ying: “…” Feeling somewhat exasperated.

“But we really can’t drink anymore, you are already drunk.”

However, reasoning with a drunk person was the least wise thing to do. Jing Dan lifted her head with accusing eyes towards He Ying, then struggled to stand up. Seeing her efforts, He Ying kindly offered a hand.

Whether it was a delayed effect or not, Jing Dan now seemed even more unsteady than before. She tried to stabilize herself, but then unexpectedly picked up the bottle and began pouring into He Ying’s cup.

Startled, He Ying quickly stopped her actions, chuckling and saying with a mix of amusement and exasperation, “Let’s not drink anymore, okay? Let’s go to sleep.”

Unaware that this guy turned out to be a heavy drinker.

Ignoring everything, Jing Dan turned her body and finished the wine in the cup in one gulp!

He Ying: “…”

Unable to control the situation, as soon as Jing Dan used that aggrieved gaze on her, He Ying couldn’t do anything else.

(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)

“Delicious!” Jing Dan muttered after finishing the drink.

He Ying could only laugh in exasperation. Could this person really have the potential to be an alcoholic?

Helplessly, she pulled Jing Dan back to her seat, pressing on her shoulder to prevent her from getting up. She then pulled her own chair over to sit beside her, starting to feed her food to prevent her stomach from getting upset from not eating much earlier due to drinking too much.

With her mouth full of the food fed by He Ying, Jing Dan’s gaze still fixed on the bottle of wine on the opposite side, clearly showing that she still had it on her mind.

He Ying: “…”

After feeding her almost enough, He Ying couldn’t help but chuckle softly. No one would have expected that a simple drink would lead to this kind of outcome.

Seeing that He Ying stopped feeding her, Jing Dan, feeling that it was over, tried to get up again to get the wine.

“You really can’t drink anymore!” He Ying quickly held her back, persuading her gently, but Jing Dan, under the influence of the alcohol, didn’t listen to her. She only knew that He Ying refused to let her drink.

Pouting, with drooping brows and eyes, she complained in an aggrieved tone, “I still want to drink, I really want to drink!”

Like those children who couldn’t get candy, extremely aggrieved.

He Ying took a deep breath, feeling that if she continued to watch, she would be unable to resist and would agree to whatever she said. In the end, she had to half-support, half-carry her, and softly said, “Let’s not drink anymore, let’s go back and sleep first.”

She then led her into the bedroom. Seeing how intoxicated she was, there was no way she could bathe herself. After placing her on the bed, she turned to go to the bathroom to draw some water, intending to come back and clean her up.

As the scene shifted, when she came out after drawing water, on the light grey bedspread, besides the slight creases indicating someone had laid there, there was no one to be seen.

She was shocked, hastily putting down the basin and quickly lifting the covers, but there was no sign of a cub. If she didn’t shift into a cub, then where was the person?

A sense of unease crept into her heart. She exited the bedroom and arrived at the living room, spotting Jing Dan standing by the dining table, drinking directly from a bottle of wine.

She gasped, swiftly moving forward to snatch the bottle from her hands. Seeing her flushed cheeks, only two words filled her mind.

It’s over.

“He Ying!”

Seeing her approach, Jing Dan still smiled at her, looking particularly foolish. In the past, her smiles were measured and reserved, but now, besides being foolish, she was just plain silly.

He Ying felt a mix of amusement and exasperation, quickly steadying her and moving the snatched wine bottle out of reach. Through gritted teeth, she said, “I told you to go to sleep, but you ran out to steal and drink!”

However, Jing Dan couldn’t care less whether He Ying was angry or not. Her gaze suddenly fixed on He Ying, her silly smile coming to a halt.

He Ying found it somewhat strange to be looked at like this, but then again, dealing with a drunkard, how much sense could one make of their behavior? Feeling somewhat helpless, she asked, “What are you looking at?”

Jing Dan tilted her head, looking puzzled. “Why do you suddenly become two, then three? Weren’t you just one person? Isn’t there only one He Ying in the world?”

He Ying was stunned, gazing at Jing Dan’s puzzled expression. Even though she knew that her words were influenced by alcohol, upon hearing her say there was only one He Ying in the world, her heart couldn’t help but wildly beat.

There was only one He Ying in the world, she was truly unique.

She chuckled softly, wondering what to do. The person in front of her was undeniably charming, setting her heart racing, yet she was so innocent, completely unaware of the art of seduction.

Feeling both resigned and amused, He Ying couldn’t help but be softened by her words.

Gently lifting her and holding her close, she whispered softly in her ear, “There is only one Jing Dan in the world too.”

Truly unique, the one and only Jing Dan in the whole universe, the Jing Dan that He Ying liked and loved.

Relaxing in He Ying’s embrace, Jing Dan found her words somewhat strange. Of course, there was only one Jing Dan in the world, just like there was only one He Ying. They were both singular, unique individuals! There couldn’t be any other second or third!

Watching the peacefully resting Jing Dan in her arms, He Ying’s heart swelled even warmer.

What should she do? Her patience seemed to be wearing thin. When would she finally realize her feelings and have a breakthrough?

However, no one could answer that question. The only possible person, who was currently too intoxicated to be coherent, was seeing multiple images of people and objects.

He Ying, feeling helpless, carried her back to the room. After placing her on the bed, she couldn’t help but lightly tap her cheek, gritting her teeth slightly, “With such a low tolerance for alcohol, you still have the nerve to call yourself a spirit!”

Jing Dan furrowed her brow and hummed, dodging He Ying’s hand.

He Ying chuckled, getting up to draw another basin of water from the bathroom. This time, the person in bed finally lay quietly without stirring. If she dared to sneak out again to drink, He Ying would really consider giving her a spanking. Knowing her limits with alcohol, was it necessary to behave so recklessly after drinking?

Helping her take off her coat, He Ying dared not touch her inner shirt and instead carefully wiped her face, neck, and hands. Perhaps feeling more comfortable, Jing Dan’s furrowed brow relaxed slightly.

Watching her with closed eyes, He Ying couldn’t help but lift her hand and gently trace her features from her brows to her nose to her slightly pursed red lips at a slight distance.

A hint of darkness passed through He Ying’s eyes as she noticed a faint wine stain on the slightly pursed red lips, emitting a light scent of wine mixed with Jing Dan’s natural bamboo fragrance. She almost felt like she could smell a hint of bamboo leaf green wine.

Unable to resist a gentle smile, He Ying found Jing Dan’s bamboo scent quite pleasant, wondering if she had eaten too much bamboo.

Retracting her hand, she calmed her fluttering heart, picked up the basin, and emptied it in the bathroom before starting her own bath.

She was definitely not like that drunkard outside, not bothering to clean up or take a bath before going to bed!

Amused by her own silent criticism, He Ying couldn’t help but smile softly. Just the thought of that person outside filled her with both joy and helplessness, mixed with a hint of satisfaction.

Perhaps the current state of their relationship was already quite good. Who else besides her could have the key to Jing Dan’s home, freely enter her room, and share a bed with her every day?

She should be content.

Taking a deep breath, He Ying reminded herself of this rationality often. However, when it came to emotions, once they intertwined with desires, it would only lead to a bottomless pit.

(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)

The desire for Jing Dan made her sincerely wish that Jing Dan could also come to like her sooner.

After finishing her bath, and seeing that the person in the room was already drunk and asleep, she didn’t need to pretend anything. She simply raised her hand and used her spiritual power to dry her hair.

Coming out, the tall woman who had been on the large bed was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a black and white panda cub lay peacefully asleep on the bed.

He Ying: “…”

With her abilities, she still wanted to keep the fact that she was a spirit a secret.

She shook her head helplessly. Clearly, she had already stabilized the instability caused by the incomplete soul. Yet, she had transformed back into her true form, indicating that she now felt more comfortable in her original state.

She climbed into bed, picked up the little cub, and placed her on another pillow by her head. As she watched the cub, she couldn’t help but smile softly. After gently adjusting the cub’s silly little hair, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

In a half-awake state, she felt something moving beside her. She then sensed something soft brushing against her face, followed by her lips touching something soft and slightly furry.

!

Startled, she immediately opened her eyes to see the cub, who had somehow climbed up and fallen into her arms. However…

Was she kissing her?

He Ying: “…”

The author has something to say:

Luanluan excitedly: You kissed!

Daidai, He Ying: Yes, we did.

Luanluan proudly: Rounded up, that’s considered kissing!

Daidai, He Ying: …Well, you can round it up that way too.
