Extra: Visiting The Parent’s Home Series (2)
Si Ze crossed his arms with malicious intent, glaring at Lin Hanyue. At this moment, he resembled a lemon spirit under a lemon tree, filled with jealousy.
Si Meng hooked her arm around Lin Hanyue’s, affectionately using chopsticks to put food into her bowl. She even remembered to wipe the oil stains from the corners of her mouth with a tissue.
Mother Si was even more enthusiastic, serving food to Lin Hanyue and holding her hand while chatting. Si Ze felt like he was a bit unnecessary.
Finally, when Father Si and Lu Nanzhu returned, Si Ze let out a sigh of relief. His little sister had already been brainwashed, and his mother was unreliable. Thankfully, his father and wife were still clear-headed.
Lu Nanzhu smelled the distinct aroma and entered the living room. Without even putting down her bag, she walked to the dining table, salivating.
“It smells so good! Mengmeng, you’re finally back. Sister-in-law missed you so much.” Lu Nanzhu turned around and gave Si Meng a bear hug, her slightly bulging belly pressing against Si Meng, her cheek rubbing against Si Meng’s fluffy hoodie.
The corners of Si Meng’s mouth curved into a gentle smile as she hugged the petite Lu Nanzhu and said, “I missed you too, sister-in-law. While I was away, did you eat well?”
Lu Nanzhu playfully blinked her eyes and retorted, “I’m not a picky eater, you know.” Since she became pregnant, she had been craving the meals cooked by Mengmeng, longing for her to come back soon.
Only then did Lu Nanzhu notice Lin Hanyue next to Si Meng. Seeing the intimacy between the two, she smiled and said, “So, this is my sister-in-law. She’s truly talented.”
Si Meng shyly helped her sit down, and Lu Nanzhu wanted to tease the two of them, but then she noticed Si Ze looking at them inexplicably.
Si Ze raised his eyebrows and made gestures, but his own wife just didn’t understand. Instead, she chatted enthusiastically with Lin Hanyue.

The last one to come home was Father Si. He got stuck in traffic and only just made it back now. Father Si said with a hint of annoyance, “So, now you know to come back? When you ran out of money, you finally realized it!”
Si Meng had no choice but to act coquettishly, saying, “I bought you a gift when I came back. Brother didn’t get you anything.”
Father Si immediately burst into laughter, his wrinkles showing as he proudly boasted to Si Ze, “So, your Brother didn’t get me anything, hahaha! Indeed, my daughter loves me the most.”
Taking advantage of the situation, Si Meng introduced Lin Hanyue to Father Si, and the family happily started eating together.
Si Meng and Lin Hanyue exchanged glances, and Lin Hanyue had someone bring out the gifts. Each person received a gift, specially prepared by Lin Hanyue, and Si Meng had no idea what they were.
“Oh… How can we accept this? You’ve already come, there’s no need for gifts,” said Mother Si, trying to decline, but she was actually very happy.
Lu Nanzhu chimed in, “Mom, this is my sister-in-law’s heartfelt gesture. Thank you, sister-in-law.”
Lu Nanzhu was the first to open the gift. It was a handbag. Wow, it was the latest Weilaya casual bag. She had been craving it for a long time.
Lu Nanzhu was a designer by profession, and she had a special love for this brand of bags. This particular design was her favorite.
Mother Si’s gift was a perfume, a refreshing and woody fragrance of agarwood. Its vintage style made it irresistible.
Father Si also opened his gift, which was a bottle of red wine. The vintage seemed quite aged, and Father Si couldn’t wait to open it and savor it slowly.

Si Meng’s eyes lit up; it seemed that Lin Hanyue had done her research well.
After some conversation, Father Si, Mother Si, and Lu Nanzhu were all very pleased with Lin Hanyue.
After a satisfying meal, Si Meng held Lin Hanyue’s hand, and the two of them strolled in the park, their figures moving side by side under the shady trees. Lin Hanyue casually picked a small plum blossom and pinned it in Si Meng’s hair bun.
From the pocket of her down jacket, Lin Hanyue cleverly pulled out a string of candied haws, speaking in a teasing tone that resembled luring a small animal, “Little Mengmeng, do you want to eat? Give me a kiss, and I’ll give it to you.”
Si Meng’s face blushed slightly. Lin Hanyue, in the midst of the honeymoon phase, was becoming more and more mischievous.
Si Meng crossed her hands behind her waist, burying herself in the fluffy rabbit-eared hat. Blinking her big eyes, there was a hint of cunning hidden within them.
Si Meng crouched down on the ground, and Lin Hanyue couldn’t figure out what was going on. In one swift motion, Si Meng turned around, and a big snowball greeted Lin Hanyue.
“Haha, you’re such a clever little devil,” Lin Hanyue laughed instead of getting angry, and she retaliated by grabbing a snowball from behind to throw back at her.
“I don’t care. If you don’t give me the candied haws, I’ll cause trouble.” Si Meng pounced on Lin Hanyue, bringing her down to the ground and straddling her.
Both of them were drenched in melted snow, and the shimmering snowflakes danced in the air. A string of candied haws passed between their lips, and even after a kiss, they still wanted more.
Lin Hanyue’s clear and bright eyes sparkled with a luminous glow, filled with admiration for this mischievous girl.
Gently, Lin Hanyue kissed Si Meng’s chin, nuzzling against the soft fur on her cheek. Her voice was gentle and deep as she said, “You promised me that you would spend New Year’s Eve with me in our home country. No backing out, okay~”

As clever as Si Meng was, she quickly realized that Lin Hanyue was hiding something from her. She questioned, “Goddess Lin, are you hiding something from me? Do you have another sweetheart?”
“Haha, how could that be? I’m almost out of money to buy dog food to feed you. Where would I dare to have another sweetheart?” Lin Hanyue’s lips curled slightly, a faint smile playing on her face.
Lin Hanyue held onto Si Meng’s small finger, giving it a gentle squeeze. Finally, there was some fleshiness to it. Si Meng had been too thin before, but now she had managed to gain some weight.
“I have prepared a New Year’s surprise for you, exclusively for you!”
Si Meng and Lin Hanyue intertwined their fingers, embracing each other in this icy and snowy world. The most sincere confession was nothing more than their silent companionship and the most fervent heartbeat.
