Delicate Soft Red Lips
I definitely will not like you!
The two of them did not speak the entire way.
The atmosphere became a bit strange.
Tan Kai didn’t know what to say. He dropped the two of them off downstairs at the fastest speed and said with a smile, “See you on Monday.”
Shen Man smiled and waved.
Lin Shu forcefully closed the car door, her small face cold, and walked towards the building entrance by herself.
Shen Man, a smile on her lips, followed behind at an unhurried pace.
When they got inside the house, Auntie He was not there.
Lin Shu didn’t change her shoes; her slender high heels clacked loudly on the floor.
She sat on the sofa with a cold expression, adopting the posture of ‘mobilizing an army to question a crime’1.
Shen Man changed her shoes, poured a cup of tea, and leaned her tall body against the doorframe. Her fair, slender fingertips caressed the rim of the teacup, the corners of her lips curved into a beaming smile.
Her expression was tranquil and leisurely as she waited for the young woman on the sofa to speak.
Lin Shu couldn’t hold back the anger in her heart. Her bright almond eyes glared at Shen Man as she questioned loudly, “Didn’t you say you wouldn’t fight with me for Shao Qi?”
“Why did you have to interfere and not let me dance with him?” This sentence was even heavier with anger.
Shen Man gave a faint smile, put down the teacup, and walked elegantly towards Lin Shu.
Her tall figure was stretched into a long shadow by the sunlight shining into the room, which happened to envelop Lin Shu within it.
The contrast of light and dark brought a silent pressure.
Lin Shu’s line of sight was blocked by a patch of shadow.
Her heart tightened, and her body unconsciously leaned back, her entire back pressing firmly against the soft sofa.
Every inch of her spine was tense, like a cat about to get its fur up2.
The smile on Shen Man’s lips deepened as she slowly approached the sofa step by step.
She stood in front of Lin Shu and bent down.
A lock of fine hair fell from behind her ear, slid down her fragrant shoulder, brushed across Lin Shu’s fair cheek, and landed on the red dress.
Because of this movement, the chest hidden within the collar revealed a patch of tender white flesh.
From Lin Shu’s angle, she could see it with perfect clarity.
Lin Shu’s breath hitched, half of the confidence brought by her anger vanished. Her fingers unconsciously gripped the sofa beneath her as she stubbornly glared at Shen Man, unwilling to admit defeat.
Shen Man let out a light laugh.
She extended a pearly white finger, tracing a beautiful arc in the air, and in the young woman’s nervous gaze, it landed on that soft, fragrant shoulder.
She leaned over, the curve of her chest becoming even more pronounced.
The distance between the two of them shrank. Their eyes met, and they could see each other’s curled eyelashes clearly.
Lin Shu’s heart thumped wildly out of control.
Her whole body was tense, like a fish accidentally stranded on the shore. She unconsciously parted her red lips, trying hard to get oxygen.
Shen Man’s red lips parted slightly, and a laughing voice came from her throat, “I didn’t fight with you for him.”
Lin Shu’s weakening momentum was instantly provoked into an explosion by this sentence. She gritted her teeth and said, “You clearly did!”
“Heh.” Shen Man chuckled lightly. Her finger moved from the young woman’s shoulder to caress her delicate chin.
Lin Shu was forced to open her red lips, her black-and-white pupils reflecting a coolly beautiful face.
That person’s delicate brows and eyes, pert nose, and slightly parted red lips were getting closer and closer to her…
“Mmph..” A warmth on her lips. Lin Shu’s eyes widened in surprise, and her hands subconsciously pushed at the person before her.
Shen Man reached out, grasped those flailing fingers, and pressed them against her chest.
Lin Shu felt a softness in her hands, and her pushing motion paused.
The oxygen in her body was gradually being taken away. Her mind went blank, unable to think.
Her eyes closed unconsciously.
In her ears was a warm, suppressed breathing sound, and at the tip of her nose was a captivating fragrance.
She felt as if she were treading on clouds, her whole body limp and without a shred of strength. All her senses were focused on their touching red lips.
The warmth on her lips slowly left.
Lin Shu opened her eyes, her gaze hazy.
Shen Man panted softly, licking the crystalline gloss on her lips, her gaze burning as she stared at that crimson little face, “Shushu, do you understand now?”
“You…” Lin Shu shuddered, her rationality instantly returning. She shoved Shen Man away and said loudly, “Let go of me!”
As she spoke, she stood up in a fluster and fled back to her room as if escaping.
Shen Man stood where she was. The bright sunlight from outside the window shone on her, a faint gold brushing across her beautiful side profile, casting a small shadow.
Those deep, sharp eyes held a faint smile.
Shen Man gracefully sat down on the sofa.
Leaning back comfortably, a satisfied smile appeared on her lips. In a good mood, she picked up the remote control she had never touched before.
The television turned on to a channel Lin Shu often watched.
Shen Man didn’t change the channel. Her beautiful eyes stared at the screen, her mind filled with the young woman’s pretty face, flushed and alluring.
Like a gorgeous rose, it was unconsciously captivating.
Shen Man licked her lips.
The softness and sweetness of another person still lingered on them.
Lin Shu returned to her room in a rage and sat down at the dressing table.
The person in the mirror had lips that were bright red and luscious. Her pair of round almond eyes seemed to be covered by a layer of mist, giving rise to a sense of innocent and pitiful beauty.
Lin Shu couldn’t believe this delicate and weak person was her.
She pursed her lips, closed her eyes tightly, and when she opened them again, her eyes had returned to their usual brightness and pride.
Lin Shu snorted coldly, picked up a tissue from the side, wiped away the moisture on her lips, and reapplied her lipstick.
She pursed her lips at the mirror and tidied up the strands of hair that had been messed up when she was pressed onto the sofa and kissed.
Seeing the person in the mirror become exquisite and beautiful again, Lin Shu revealed a satisfied smile.
After a while, her smile froze, and her lovely, delicate brows furrowed slightly.
Lin Shu thought for a few seconds, then abruptly stood up and walked out menacingly.
The ‘da da’ sound of her high heels echoed throughout the room.
Lin Shu came to the sofa, stood there looking down from a superior position, shot Shen Man a sideways glance, and said with her chin held high, “Shen Man, why did you kiss me?”
She asked in an overbearing manner, without a trace of the weakness from before.
A hint of surprise flashed in Shen Man’s eyes, which was then replaced by a smile. She said in a calm tone, “Because Shushu is too cute.”
“Hmph.” Lin Shu snorted coldly, her expression arrogant, like a proud little peacock3. “There are plenty of people who like me. I would never fall for a woman.”
“Don’t think you have a chance just because you live in my house. I will absolutely never like you.”
“Is that so?” Shen Man raised an eyebrow and sat up from the sofa.
Lin Shu immediately took a wary step back and said loudly, “If you dare to be improper again in the future, watch out, or I won’t be polite to you.”
After she finished speaking, her small face became fierce.
Shen Man was not afraid at all, the smile on her face remained.
She looked at Lin Shu carefully, sizing her up for a good while, but did not see any disgust or revulsion in Lin Shu’s angry eyes.
Thinking of the last time the two had one pass of the spring breeze4, Lin Shu had no other reaction besides anger.
Shen Man felt much more relieved, and the smile on her lips deepened.
“What are you smiling about?” Lin Shu asked vigilantly, her face showing her displeasure.
“Nothing.” Shen Man shook her head and stood up.
Lin Shu was startled and quickly ran back to her room. When she came out, her aggressive momentum had completely vanished.
Shen Man sat down again, lying back comfortably, picked up the remote, and casually flipped through the channels.
When Auntie He returned, she saw Shen Man lying alone on the sofa, rarely watching television, and seemingly in a very good mood.
She put down the fruit in her hand and said with a smile, “Manman, how come only you are back? Where is Miss Lin?”
“Shushu is in her room,” Shen Man replied.
Auntie He glanced at Lin Shu’s room and lowered her voice, “Then I’ll go make dinner first.”
“Okay.” Shen Man said, turned off the TV, and got up to go back to her room.
After changing into loungewear, Shen Man walked towards the bathroom with makeup remover.
As she passed Lin Shu’s room, Lin Shu happened to open the door from the inside.
The two made eye contact.
Shen Man was the first to show a gentle smile.
Lin Shu snorted, turned her head away, and walked towards the living room.
“Shushu, it’s almost time for dinner. Do you want to change your clothes first?” Shen Man reminded with a smile.
Hearing this, Lin Shu changed direction and walked back to her room.
Soon, she came out again, holding a small box.
The box contained several bottles of makeup remover, cleansing oil, and cleansing liquid, all of different colors and all from famous brands.
Shen Man glanced at it and asked, “Shushu, are you going to use this bathroom?”
“Of course,” Lin Shu said haughtily, walking into the bathroom first.
Shen Man stood outside, a little surprised in her eyes.
She had thought Lin Shu would avoid her, but unexpectedly, the young miss was not timid at all, still acting as she pleased just like before, not affected in the slightest.
Probably wanting to teach her a lesson, Lin Shu didn’t use the bathroom in her own room and insisted on fighting with her for this one.
Shen Man stood outside the door, waiting quietly.
After ten minutes, Lin Shu still hadn’t come out.
Shen Man thought for a moment, then turned and went back to her room.
As soon as she left, Lin Shu came out, clearly acting against her.
Shen Man found this kind of childish retaliatory tactic to be naively amusing.
She didn’t go to the bathroom again. Looking at Lin Shu, she said, “Shushu, you didn’t remove your eye makeup completely.”
“What?” Lin Shu was startled and hurried back to her room to find a mirror.
Seeing a small patch of smudged eyeshadow remaining on her left eye, her face turned red with embarrassment. She felt both ashamed and angry, and couldn’t bring herself to go find trouble with Shen Man again.
Auntie He brought the dishes to the table and called the two of them to eat.
Shen Man sat down with a smile on her face.
Lin Shu had a cold expression on her small face, which became pouty when Shen Man looked over.
Auntie He sensed the atmosphere at the dinner table was not good. After serving them both rice, she turned and went back to the kitchen.
After the two finished eating and Lin Shu went back to her room, she came out again to clean up.
Shen Man sat drinking tea.
While clearing the dishes, Auntie He said with a smile, “Manman, you’re the one with the good temper. No matter how Miss Lin throws a tantrum, you never get angry. If it were anyone else, I’m afraid they would have felt too wronged to stay here long ago.”
“Although Miss Lin doesn’t have a bad heart, not everyone can tolerate this young-miss temper of hers.” Auntie He deliberately lowered her voice for this sentence, even glancing quietly at Lin Shu’s room as she spoke.
In her eyes, there was full admiration for Shen Man. “Only you can handle Miss Lin.”
Shen Man chuckled lightly, her fingers caressing the rim of the teacup. She lowered her eyes and said nothing.
On the surface, what Auntie He always saw was Lin Shu throwing a tantrum, losing her temper at her, getting angry with her. In reality, most of Lin Shu’s anger was provoked by her.
She didn’t dislike Lin Shu’s occasional trouble-making; anyway, Lin Shu couldn’t win against her.
On the contrary, having a beautiful young woman full of fighting spirit and vitality by her side every day made life much more interesting.
The two of them had a ‘cold war’ for a whole night.
Shen Man got up, had breakfast, and sat in the living room reading a book.
Lin Shu slept until almost noon before getting up.
She had put on a fresh and sweet style of makeup. She wore a long-sleeved shirt on top, a white short skirt on the bottom, and little white sneakers of the same color on her feet.
The hem of the shirt was tied up, revealing a section of her slender little barbarian waist5, making her look lively and cute, full of girlishness.
Shen Man looked over, carefully sizing her up from top to bottom, giving her a ten in her heart. She smiled and said, “Shushu, are you meeting them to go out and play again today?”
“What’s it to you!” Lin Shu replied irritably, shot Shen Man a sideways glance, and went out the door full of arrogance.
Shen Man watched her leave, only retracting her gaze after those snow-white, long legs disappeared, and continued to read her book.
The phone next to her rang, and a message popped up.
It showed it was from the head teacher.
Shen Man put down her book and opened the message.
“Shen Man, a girl in our class named Xu Yimeng6 has had a breakup and seems to be showing signs of not being able to get over it. Could you please go and counsel her? I’m out of town right now and can’t rush back.”
“Okay, I’ll go over right now,” Shen Man replied immediately.
She had the information of all the students in her class saved in her phone and quickly found Xu Yimeng’s contact information and dorm room number.
Shen Man stood up with her phone and said to Auntie He, “I’m going out for a bit. I’ll probably be back very late.”
“Okay,” Auntie He responded.
Shen Man went back to her room to change her clothes. She only brought her phone with her.
Standing in the entryway changing her shoes, she caught sight of Lin Shu’s car keys in a small compartment of the glass cabinet.
Shen Man thought for a moment, then picked up her phone to call Lin Shu.
The first time, no one answered.
The second time, the phone was turned off directly.
Shen Man sent a message over, “Shushu, something has come up. I’m borrowing your car for a bit.”
Still no reply.
Shen Man finished changing her shoes, took the car keys, and went out.
She parked the car downstairs from the girls’ dormitory of their department and dialed the phone number of a girl from their class who was Xu Yimeng’s roommate.
“This is Shen Man. Is Xu Yimeng in the dorm?” Shen Man asked.
“Yes, she is. She’s been lying on her desk crying for a long time. I talked to her, but she won’t answer me,” the girl said in a low voice.
“Okay, thank you.” Shen Man hung up the phone and entered the dormitory building.
She and Lin Shu also had a dorm at school, but the two of them basically never lived there.
Shen Man quickly found Xu Yimeng’s dorm room.
She knocked on the door, and a girl came to open it.
“Class Monitor, come and see, she’s not in a good emotional state,” the girl said in a low voice, her eyes full of worry and a little fear.
Shen Man nodded, walked into the dorm, and looked around.
It was a four-person dorm room. Two were girls from their class, and the other two were from other classes.
Right now, only the girls from their class were in the dorm.
Xu Yimeng’s desk and bed were both tidy, and her clothes and hair were not messy.
She was lying on the desk, her arms crossed, her head buried in her arms, sobbing from time to time.
Her crying wasn’t loud, but one could tell she was very sad.
Shen Man stood for a while and said softly, “Xu Yimeng, what happened? Tell me about it.”
Xu Yimeng didn’t reply, her crying a little louder than before.
Shen Man stood patiently, pulled a tissue from the desk, and handed it over. “I’m the Class Monitor. If you’ve run into any difficulties, just tell me, and I will help you.”
Hearing this, Xu Yimeng raised her head. Her eyes were red and swollen all around. She glanced at Shen Man, then lay back down crying, sobbing ceaselessly.
Shen Man reached out and gently patted her back, her voice even gentler, “Don’t keep things bottled up inside. Say it out loud, we will all help you.”
“Really?” Xu Yimeng asked between sobs, two clear tear tracks on her face.
Shen Man nodded seriously.
Xu Yimeng’s expression loosened a bit. After hesitating for a moment, she said in a small voice, “He took the necklace my mom gave me. I asked him to give it back, but he won’t…”
After speaking, she couldn’t control herself and started crying again.
Shen Man understood what she said.
That ‘he’ should refer to her boyfriend.
Xu Yimeng was from a single-parent family, and her mother had already passed away. That necklace was of great significance to her. She would surely be devastated if she couldn’t get it back.
“Where is he now? I’ll help you get the necklace back,” Shen Man said.
Xu Yimeng stopped crying in disbelief, hope appearing in her red, tear-filled eyes. “Class Monitor, can you really help me?”
Shen Man’s gaze was gentle as she nodded affirmatively.
Xu Yimeng instantly found courage. She wiped her tears and said, “He’s at a hotel celebrating his new girlfriend’s birthday. I just came back from there…”
After she finished, she couldn’t help but start crying again.
“Okay, we’ll go over right now,” Shen Man said.
Xu Yimeng stood up, picking up her small bag.
Shen Man glanced at her and reminded, “Do you want to wash your face first?”
Xu Yimeng subconsciously touched her face and said with some embarrassment, “Class Monitor, wait for me a moment.”
Shen Man nodded with a light smile.
Xu Yimeng quickly got ready, rapidly touched up her makeup, and a small smile appeared on her face. Her mental state was a bit better than before.
Shen Man was slightly relieved.
Having experienced the cruel workplace, looking back at campus romance, one would feel that being willing to die for love is a bit childish.
But for the people involved, it is an unforgettable matter. The blow of a breakup can easily make their brilliant sky lose its color, causing them to lose confidence in life and their future.
In Xu Yimeng’s eyes, there was clearly still affection for that boy.
When simple young girls fall in love, even knowing the other person is a scum, they still can’t let go.
They are simple and naive, their love is pure, and sometimes they are pitifully foolish.
Shen Man asked for the address and looked up the route on her phone.
Xu Yimeng was a bit surprised when she saw the expensive car. “Class Monitor, is this your car? I’ve never seen you drive it to school.”
“This is Lin Shu’s car,” Shen Man said.
“Lin Shu’s?” Xu Yimeng exclaimed, somewhat in disbelief. She stood by the front passenger side, hesitating to open the car door.
Shen Man glanced over and said, “You can sit in the back.”
Xu Yimeng nodded, opened the back door, and got in.
Shen Man started the car. Seeing that the girl’s attention was drawn to the car, she asked in a relaxed and natural manner, “Did you and he break up?”
Hearing this, a pained expression appeared on Xu Yimeng’s face, and tears flowed out unknowingly.
“Sorry, I accidentally brought up your sad matter,” Shen Man said softly. “If you don’t want to talk about it, just pretend I never asked.”
Xu Yimeng wiped her tears, pursed her lips in silence for a moment, and then began to talk about her relationship in a small voice.
Shen Man listened attentively.
According to Xu Yimeng’s description, the boy was from another school. They met once while eating out, and the boy pursued her first. The initial sweetness gradually turned into coldness, and finally, it became direct cold violence.
Xu Yimeng was a girl who lacked love and was completely taken in by the boy’s sweet talk.
When the boy asked for the necklace, she gave it to him directly. But as it turned out, the boy gave it to his new girlfriend and refused to return it to her.
Even with such a fickle and cold-violent scum man, Xu Yimeng had not given up hope and still held out hope for that boy in her words.
In matters of feelings, an onlooker cannot empathize with all the emotions in the heart of the person involved. What she could do was help get the necklace back.
There was a red light ahead.
Shen Man stopped the car, her gaze fixed straight ahead.
This was a bustling commercial street, with shops lining both sides of the road. All kinds of sounds intertwined, making it very lively.
The place they were going to was two hundred meters ahead.
Lin Shu came out of a dessert shop, holding an ice cream. A flash of red swept past her eyes and stopped not far away.
She turned her head to look, frowning as she tried to identify it for a moment, and recognized it as her own car.
The person driving was Shen Man, and there was another girl she didn’t know sitting in the car.
“Damn it, driving my car to take a girl for a spin!” Lin Shu’s face instantly turned ashen with anger, and the ice cream in her hand almost fell to the ground.
She strode over there furiously. Before she had taken two steps, the red light turned green, and the car started moving.
Shen Man glanced in the rearview mirror and saw a figure walking this way.
She didn’t pay it any mind.
It wasn’t until the car had driven off that she realized that person was Lin Shu.
This was a one-way street, so she couldn’t turn around. Shen Man could only continue driving forward.
Lin Shu chased for several tens of meters before stopping, panting.
She waved her hand and hailed a car by the roadside.
The car stopped.
She got in quickly and said fiercely through gritted teeth, “Follow that red car in front, don’t let her get away!”
“Little girl, is that your boyfriend up ahead? Your expression looks like you just caught him on a date with another girl,” the driver asked, his face showing a seen-it-all expression.
“What boyfriend? Don’t talk nonsense!” Lin Shu retorted angrily. With a flick of her hand, the ice cream fell onto her shirt, staining her clothes.
She instantly became even angrier, her eyes looking as if they were about to spit fire as she stared at the car in front.
Seeing this expression, the driver became even more certain of his guess and said with a smile, “Don’t worry, this is a one-way street. We’ll catch up soon.”
“We must catch up, don’t let her get away,” Lin Shu gritted her teeth, using a tissue to wipe the cream off her clothes.
Hearing this, the driver followed the red car in front closely.
But he kept a certain distance, ensuring he wouldn’t lose them while also not being discovered.
Shen Man stopped the car, glanced at the hotel’s main entrance, and said, “Is this the place?”
Xu Yimeng’s nose tingled as she nodded, looking as if she was about to cry.
Shen Man handed her two tissues and encouraged her, “Wipe your eyes. Face them in your best state. You absolutely cannot cry. The more you act like you don’t care, the greater our chance of getting the necklace back.”
Xu Yimeng held back her sobs and nodded forcefully.
Shen Man waited for a while, letting her compose herself.
The two of them entered the hotel just as Lin Shu finished paying and got out of her car.
“Little girl, that was two girls, not your boyfriend,” the driver said.
Lin Shu couldn’t be bothered to explain. She slammed the car door shut and entered the hotel.
She went to the front desk and asked for the room number Shen Man had gone to.
The front desk lady saw her furious and impolite attitude and politely smiled without telling her.
Lin Shu got even angrier and said haughtily, “Get the person in charge over here.”
“My dad owns this hotel, and I can’t even find out a person’s room number?”
Hearing this last sentence, the front desk lady panicked a little and hurriedly called for the manager.
In less than two minutes, the manager arrived. Seeing Lin Shu, he smiled politely and said, “Miss Lin, she’s new here. Please forgive any lack of hospitality.”
“What can I help you with? Would you like to book a room or have afternoon tea?”
Lin Shu shot the front desk lady a sideways glance.
The front desk lady immediately told her the room number Shen Man went to. “A group of people are celebrating a birthday in that private room.”
“Celebrating a birthday?” Lin Shu frowned.
“Are you going over now, or would you like to change your clothes first?” the manager asked with a smile.
Lin Shu looked down and glanced at the cream on her clothes. “Get me a room, and bring me a shirt. I want a white one.”
“Of course, Miss Lin,” the manager said respectfully, personally leading Lin Shu to the room.
“That person just now is still an intern. If Miss Lin is not satisfied, I will fire her right now,” the manager said carefully.
“No need,” Lin Shu said with an impatient expression.
The manager breathed a sigh of relief in his heart and tactfully did not bring up the topic again.
Shen Man pushed open the room door.
The sound of men and women laughing, mixed with the sound of singing, came from inside.
The first to look over was a girl with exquisite makeup and wearing beautiful clothes.
One look and it was clear she was the star of this birthday party.
A necklace was hanging around her neck.
“That’s my necklace,” Xu Yimeng said in a small, crying voice.
Even though she had mentally prepared herself, seeing this scene for real was still a huge blow to her.
Shen Man gave her a comforting look and reached out to turn off the flashing lights in the room.
Instantly, everyone looked over.
Someone recognized Xu Yimeng and teased with a smile, “Sisi-jie, look, she’s come looking again.”
Jin Sisi7 sneered, deliberately fiddled with the necklace around her neck, and said smugly, “He said it looks better on me than on you.”
The others burst into laughter and applauded.
The boy sitting in the crowd had a smile on his face.
Jin Sisi walked over, sat on his lap, and in front of everyone, gave him a kiss, saying in a delicate voice, “Tell me, doesn’t it look good on me?”
“Of course, my baby looks the best. How can anyone else compare,” the boy praised with a smile, intimately wrapping his arm around Jin Sisi’s waist.
A chill ran through Xu Yimeng’s entire body.
Her throat felt as if it had lost its voice. She couldn’t speak, only a suppressed sob came out.
Those mocking gazes, the girl’s smug expression, the disdain in the boy’s eyes, were all like needles piercing her body.
She was in so much pain that her whole body was uncomfortable, yet she had no ability to resist.
Shen Man swept her gaze over them and curled her lips in disdain. “How can some people be so cheap, liking to use second-hand things, second-hand goods.”
Seeing the angry expressions on the faces opposite her, Shen Man continued unhurriedly, “I misspoke. It probably isn’t second-hand. As for how many hands it’s been through, probably no one knows for sure.”
Hearing this, Jin Sisi couldn’t sit still. She immediately stood up and started cursing furiously, her face twisted and repulsive.
“Class Monitor, let’s go… I don’t want the necklace anymore…” Xu Yimeng’s lips trembled, she was crying so hard she shook, her weak body looking as if it could fall at any moment.
After she spoke, she covered her mouth with her hand, feeling nauseous and wanting to vomit.
“Don’t be afraid, I will help you get the necklace back,” Shen Man said comfortingly. “You go outside and wait for me first.”
“No…” Xu Yimeng shook her head, crying, and reached out to pull Shen Man’s arm. “Let’s go…”
“Want to leave?” Jin Sisi sneered. “Not so easy.”
A boy quickly ran over and closed the door, standing by it.
The others all stood up, with malicious smiles on their faces.
Only that one boy remained seated, with an expression of watching a good show.
Shen Man’s delicate brows furrowed slightly.
Xu Yimeng hid behind her in fear, pleading with the boy, “I don’t want the necklace anymore. Let us go, okay…”
“That depends on what Sisi wants,” the boy said with a smile.
Jin Sisi snorted coldly. “Since you’re here, then properly accompany my buddies.”
Hearing this, the other boys laughed loudly and moved closer, surrounding the two of them.
Shen Man was not flustered at all.
Xu Yimeng was trembling, her face pale, nervously clutching Shen Man’s arm.
Suddenly, the room door was opened, and a proud and arrogant voice familiar to Shen Man was heard.
“Shen Man, you get out here!”
