Lin Shu supported Shen Man, walking towards the reserved room.

Shen Man’s eyes were half-closed as she observed the surrounding environment.

Shen Man did not speak, walking forward while holding onto the wall.

The drug’s effect was wreaking havoc inside her body, eroding her consciousness.

The two walked to a corner when the sound of hurried footsteps came from behind.

A girl ran towards them with an anxious expression.

Lin Shu turned her head, and upon seeing the person, she smiled and said, “Ding Qian¹, what are you doing in such a panic?”

Ding Qian glanced at Shen Man and said anxiously, “It was a mistake.”

“What was a mistake?” Lin Shu frowned.

Ding Qian quickly pulled Lin Shu aside and said in a low voice, “The one that person gave was that kind of drug.”

“Which kind of drug?” Lin Shu was puzzled.

“It’s… it’s that kind…” Ding Qian gestured with her eyes, her fingers making random motions.

Lin Shu grew even more confused.

Seeing that Ding Qian couldn’t explain it clearly, she interrupted impatiently, “Alright, I get it.”

“That’s good, you should think of a solution,” Ding Qian said nervously.

They had originally just wanted to teach Shen Man a small lesson, asking someone to get a drug that would cause a stomachache to make Shen Man embarrass herself at the party.

Her index finger happened to land on the strap of the young woman’s underwear.

In just an instant, she quickly moved it away.

The clean and pure scent of the young woman beside her made Shen Man’s heart was like a restless ape and her mind like a galloping horse³. She relied on her extraordinary willpower to support herself until she reached the room.

Lin Shu helped the person onto the bed, her arms aching from the effort. She complained delicately, “You’re really heavy. I’ve never done such tiring work in my life.”

Shen Man’s lips curled. She knew she had encountered a genuine, pampered young miss.

“What are you smiling about?” Lin Shu raised a fine eyebrow and leaned over, unconvinced.

Seeing Shen Man lying on the bed, gasping for breath like a fish struggling powerlessly, she laughed happily again.

“Do you know what you are doing?” Shen Man’s eyes were half-closed as she questioned in a cold voice.

Her beautiful eyes were misty with moisture, the sharp gaze softened by the shimmering wateriness.

Lin Shu smiled proudly, “This is the consequence of opposing me. Shen Man, you’d better enjoy tonight.”

“Enjoy?” Shen Man’s red lips tilted up. With a sudden exertion of force, she pulled the person who refused to repent into her embrace and whispered, “Such a fine night requires two people to enjoy.”

Lin Shu did not understand the meaning behind those words.

The smile revealed in those eyes, like a wolf staring at its prey, instinctively made her feel a sense of danger.

A trace of fear sprouted in her heart, and she twisted her body to struggle.

Shen Man’s body was extremely hot, the potent drug stimulating her nerves again and again.

Yet the person in her arms kept provoking her senses. In the struggle, the buttons of the white shirt came undone, revealing a fair, sexy, fragrant shoulder.

Shen Man had almost completely lost her reason.

Based on the two key character names, ‘Shen Man’ and ‘Lin Shu’, she recalled a novel that her company’s employees had discussed.

The novel’s plot was old-fashioned and full of dog blood⁶. Lin Shu was the vicious villain in this novel.

Shen Man took a simple shower, wrapped a bath towel around herself, and pushed the door open to go out. Her gaze shifted to the bedside, meeting the eyes of the person on the bed.

The air was still for two seconds.

Lin Shu abruptly sat up from the bed, her beautiful almond eyes staring at Shen Man with shock and anger, “What did you do to me yesterday?”

Shen Man raised a fine eyebrow, casually brushing aside the hair on her forehead, revealing an interested smile as she reminded, “The blanket.”

A fierce knocking sound came from outside.

Shen Man ignored it, extending a slender finger to touch the corner of her lip. There was a small break in the skin here, which throbbed with a little pain when she pressed it lightly.

“Shen Man, open the door, I need to use the washroom.” Lin Shu pounded on the door, her clear voice tinged with hoarseness.

Shen Man opened the door and met the young woman’s furious eyes, teasing with a smile, “You’re really full of energy so early in the morning.”

“None of your business!” Lin Shu retorted loudly and slammed the bathroom door shut.

Lin Shu showered in the bathroom, forcefully scrubbing the red marks on her body.

She couldn’t believe that she had actually had a breeze of spring⁸ with a woman, and with the woman she hated the most.

Lin Shu gritted her teeth, thinking of ways to get revenge while she showered.

After thinking it over and over, she could only swallow this bitter pill for now.

She had plotted against Shen Man first, and now this kind of thing had happened.

Once word got out, it would only be bad for her, with no benefits.

After Lin Shu finished washing up and getting dressed, she came out and looked at Shen Man, saying condescendingly, “You are not to tell anyone about what happened last night, or else I’ll kick you out of my house.”

“Thank you for your concern, I’m fine.” Shen Man walked out with a light smile, her innocent face pure and harmless.

Tan Kai’s face turned red. He looked at Lin Shu’s departing back and asked, “What’s wrong with that girl Lin Shu? Flaring up so early in the morning, who made her unhappy.”

“She probably didn’t sleep well yesterday,” Shen Man said, a deep smile in her eyes.

“Her waking-up temper is quite severe,” Tan Kai nodded in agreement.

Shen Man instantly understood that these two were very familiar.

She hadn’t read that novel, only heard employees discuss some of the plot.

The setting in the book was that the second female lead and the second male lead were green plums and bamboo horses¹⁰, a match made in heaven with compatible family backgrounds. But as it turned out, one fell in love with the male lead, and the other fell in love with the female lead. Unable to get what they wanted, they both turned bad together.

To be more precise, the second female lead instigated the second male lead to turn bad. In the end, the male and female leads got their happy ending together, while the two of them were scolded by the readers’ saliva until their heads were covered in dog’s blood.

Shen Man did not plan to follow the original silly white sweet¹¹ love story.

The ones she liked were women; she had no interest in the cold male lead.

Shen Man smiled, walked over, and wrapped her fingers around Lin Shu’s fragrant shoulders. She leaned close to Lin Shu’s ear and whispered ambiguously, “Was last night not intimate enough?”

“You… get away!” Lin Shu was startled, panic appearing in her eyes. She glanced left and right, pushed Shen Man away, and quickly entered the elevator.

Shen Man followed behind at her leisure.

There were only the two of them in the elevator.

Lin Shu’s face was bright red, it was unclear if from anger or shame.

She glared at Shen Man and warned in a low voice, “Shen Man, I told you not to mention last night’s matter again.”

“As you command, my great young miss,” Shen Man agreed with a smile, her gentle voice as if filled with infinite doting.

Lin Shu’s heart skipped a beat for no reason.

Her mind couldn’t help but think of the breathing sounds that had panted in her ear all night long.

How could this woman she hated be so damn sexy!
