Her Clothes
As if seducing her
The evening sunlight spilled in, plating the room with a layer of faint gold.
It was like a settled oil painting, carrying the tenderness of quiet years.
Lin Shu walked out of the elevator, the aroma of food reaching the tip of her nose.
She sniffed lightly, knowing this was Shen Man cooking, and couldn’t help but walk quickly to the door.
Kacha. The main door slowly opened.
Lin Shu entered the door, changed her shoes, and walked toward the living room.
Her gaze fell onto the sofa; her entire person was instantly stunned, pupils dilating rapidly.
In her shocked eyes, Shen Man’s clothes were worn on another person’s body.
That person lay leisurely on the sofa, charming brows and eyes carrying a happy smile; a long black dress was hiked up to the thigh, revealing a pair of snow-white long legs.
“Lin Shu, you are back. Dinner is almost ready,” Ni Shuang rose from the sofa, saying with a happy smile.
She straightened her spine; on the clothes at her chest, two points protruded, clearly allowing people to see that she was not wearing underwear inside.
Lin Shu gazed at that brilliant smiling face, her body turning cold for a moment.
Her throat felt like it was being strangled by someone, unable to speak.
She seemed like a soul failing to guard its house1, walking back to her own room in a daze.
“Lin Shu, are you not eating dinner?” Ni Shuang asked.
Lin Shu did not respond. With trembling fingertips, she closed the room door, threw herself onto the bed, and used the quilt to cover herself tightly.
She closed her eyes, but her mind kept replaying the image of Ni Shuang wearing Shen Man’s clothes.
Every detail seemed carved into her heart; she could even remember the patterns on the clothes.
The room door was knocked upon.
Lin Shu opened her eyes; a crystal-clear tear fell onto her fingertip.
She casually wiped it away, threw off the quilt, and sat up.
“Lin Shu, come out to eat,” Ni Shuang said loudly, standing outside.
“I am not hungry,” Lin Shu answered, her voice full of coldness.
Hearing these words, Ni Shuang did not leave, but instead knocked on the door with more force.
While knocking, she said, “Lin Shu, open the door and let me in.”
Hearing this, Lin Shu subconsciously pinched her fingertips tight.
“If you don’t open the door, I won’t leave. I’ll sleep right here tonight,” Ni Shuang said in a rascal-like manner.
Lin Shu understood that Ni Shuang was not joking.
She stood up, took a deep breath, wiped the corners of her eyes, walked over, and opened the door.
Ni Shuang leaned against the door frame, her face carrying a seductive smile.
She walked in quickly and slammed the door shut.
Bang. The sound was crisp and clean, like a thunderclap exploding beside Lin Shu’s ear.
Lin Shu turned her head, looking elsewhere.
Ni Shuang found a spot to sit down, legs bent and stacked together.
The clothes on her body rolled upward because of this movement, revealing snow-white skin.
Lin Shu glanced once, shifted her gaze away, and sat by the bedside.
Ni Shuang did not care at all. Leaning back comfortably, she spoke leisurely, “Lin Shu, are you and Shen Man really just ordinary friends?”
She emphasized the tone of the four words “ordinary friends” and directly called Shen Man by her name.
Lin Shu’s heartbeat tightened.
She looked up, fixing her gaze on Ni Shuang, her voice turning cold. “What is the meaning of your words?”
“Just the literal meaning.” Ni Shuang raised her eyebrows, casually fiddling with her hair, her whole body emitting a charming allure.
Lin Shu gazed at those eyes that seemed to see through everything. After meeting her gaze for a few seconds, she turned her head away.
“Baby, you said I could casually fish for2 Shen Man, but just seeing me wear Shen Man’s clothes, you can’t stand it, looking like you’ve lost your soul,” Ni Shuang said with a smile, shifting into a more comfortable posture.
Lin Shu felt an uncomfortable squeezing in her heart, a heaviness that made it seem like she couldn’t breathe.
She could not say a single word of rebuttal, only able to lower her head, fingertips involuntarily gripping together tightly.
Ni Shuang noticed this movement. The smile on her face widened as she stood up and said, “Today’s dinner doesn’t suit my appetite, so I’ll leave first.”
“You two eat slowly.” As she spoke, she raised her eyebrows, her smiling voice containing deep meaning.
Shen Man finished cooking and came out of the kitchen, just in time to see Ni Shuang walking out.
Slightly surprised, she smiled and asked, “Shuangshuang, are you not eating dinner?”
“Not eating. Thank you, Shen-jiejie3, for the hospitality.” Ni Shuang blinked her eyes, smiling playfully.
After speaking, she went to the entryway to change shoes and left with a face full of smiles.
Entering the elevator, the smile on her face instantly turned cold.
Looking at the dress worn on her body in the mirror, she curled her lips.
Shen Man arrived in front of Lin Shu’s room door and saw Lin Shu sitting by the bed in a daze.
She knocked on the door and said softly, “Shushu, it is time to eat dinner.”
Lin Shu did not respond.
After a long time, she raised her head, eyes staring coldly at Shen Man. “You and Ni Shuang, what exactly did you do in my house?”
By the end of the sentence, the volume grew louder and louder, seemingly carrying an anger that could not be suppressed.
Hearing this, Shen Man smiled faintly.
She walked into the room and backhandedly closed the door.
Lin Shu was startled and immediately sat up from the bed.
Looking fiercely at Shen Man, she said cruelly, “You are not allowed to enter my room!”
Shen Man smiled, sitting by the bedside with a natural expression.
Gazing at Lin Shu, she said indifferently, “I came to tell you what Shuangshuang and I did.”
After saying this, not giving Lin Shu time to react, she stood up and pulled Lin Shu onto the sofa in the room.
Lin Shu fell into the soft sofa, subconsciously propping herself up with her hands to sit.
Shen Man did not stop her. She poured a cup of tea from the coffee table and held it in her hand.
Slender fingers rubbed the edge of the teacup, lips revealing a smile that carried danger.
Lin Shu saw a trace of burning emotion in those cold, calm eyes, like anger that had been suppressed for a long time.
Her heart trembled; she straightened her spine, leaning tightly against the sofa.
“Shuangshuang sat on the living room sofa and wanted to drink water,” Shen Man said slowly, her deep voice pleasant to hear.
As she spoke, she delivered the teacup into Lin Shu’s hand.
Lin Shu involuntarily gripped it.
In this instant, she felt as if she had become Ni Shuang.
“Probably because she didn’t hold it steadily, the water cup fell to the ground, wetting her clothes,” Shen Man said with a light smile, holding Lin Shu’s hand and slowly pouring water toward that exquisite collarbone.
A full cup of water soaked Lin Shu’s thin clothes; slightly cool water droplets slowly dripped down along her white, tender skin.
Lin Shu felt a shudder rise on her skin.
Reason told her she should push Shen Man away right now, but her body seemed controlled by that deep voice. She could not move, only forced to follow along and reenact the scene from that time.
“Then she took off her clothes, revealing snow-white skin,” Shen Man said in a low voice.
Extending a finger, she pulled down Lin Shu’s shoulder strap, revealing a large expanse of snow-white, fine skin.
Lin Shu’s eyes instantly widened in astonishment, rosy lips trembling. “You two really…”
Shen Man gave a light smile and sat onto the sofa. “I helped her wipe the water stains off her body.”
As she spoke, her white, tender fingertips slowly slid over Lin Shu’s body, seemingly truly wiping the water from the clothes in earnest.
Lin Shu’s body froze.
The skin dampened by water radiated a coldness, but after the warm fingertips slid past, it became very hot again.
This heat transmitted from the skin to the heart, then spread from the heart to the cells of her whole body. She had to open her lips slightly to draw oxygen from the air.
“She sat on my body, and with a soft voice said, ‘Jiejie4, I am so itchy here’.” Shen Man continued. After finishing, she pulled Lin Shu onto her own lap to sit. “She swayed her narrow waist, acting spoiled toward me with a face full of charming smiles.”
After saying this, Shen Man’s eyes carried a smile as she gazed deeply at Lin Shu.
Lin Shu had a moment of panic.
She quickly calmed down, bit her lip, and acted according to the words, slowly swaying her slender, tender waist.
“And then?” she asked, those round eyes having sobered from their daze, attempting to grasp the initiative.
Shen Man paused.
The smile in the depths of her eyes gradually grew larger. She raised one of her hands. “She grasped my hand, and with a soft voice said, ‘Jiejie, I am so cold here’.”
Lin Shu hesitated for a moment, then did as told.
Shen Man’s eyes revealed a smile of having succeeded, her movements softening.
Lin Shu recovered her wits; her white, tender little face was already a patch of tidal redness, radiating a good-looking luster.
“Continue!” she said, eyes staring at Shen Man, unwilling to show weakness.
“She draped both hands around my neck, looking at me with eyes like silk5,” Shen Man said, slowing her tone, her voice carrying an inexplicable sexiness.
Lin Shu could not produce the look of “eyes like silk.”
She draped her hands around Shen Man’s neck, staring straight at that cold face.
“Next, it was my turn.” Shen Man leaned down by Lin Shu’s ear, exhaling breath like orchids6.
Lin Shu had no time to react before her lips felt heat.
This kiss was very intense, without any technique.
Lin Shu felt it difficult to breathe, her brain a blank slate.
She couldn’t help but open her red lips to make herself feel a bit better; the jade arms that originally embraced Shen Man’s neck seemed to lose their strength, hanging limply on Shen Man’s shoulder.
Shen Man hugged the soft body in her arms.
Kissing gently, she said in a husky voice, “It ended.”
Lin Shu closed her eyes, her lips hooking up into a self-mocking smile.
She wanted to speak, yet didn’t know what she should say.
Only by maintaining silence could she not lose her final pride.
“Let’s eat, otherwise it will get cold,” Shen Man said with a light laugh, her white, tender cheeks flushed with a good-looking scarlet color.
Those quiet, rational eyes hid a burning emotion, which she quietly suppressed.
Lin Shu stood up, her footing unstable, almost falling; her body seemed to still retain the sensation from just now.
She barely stabilized her body, maintaining an indifferent expression on her face. “You go out first, I want to shower.”
“Okay.” Shen Man smiled, complying and exiting the door.
Listening to the sound of the room door closing, Lin Shu’s body went soft, collapsing beside the sofa.
The phone on the bed rang.
It was a call from Ni Shuang.
