【Extra Chapter · Normal Timeline】
Young Family Head Chu has mysophobia1
Young Family Head Chu had been a particularly clean child ever since she was young.
Among the three children of the Chu family, she was the cleanest. When she was around, her two younger sisters would also be influenced to be exceptionally clean.
And with the development of technology, humans have been liberated from many household chores, such as washing dishes.
After dinner, Chu Zhaoqiu2 placed the dishes into the dishwasher, started the machine, then turned to pick up a cleaning cloth, only to be stopped.
“I’ve already wiped the table,” Fu Lianxue3 said while washing her hands.
Chu Zhaoqiu turned her head to look, paused, and couldn’t help but smile.
She saw Fu Lianxue standing beside her, slightly bent over, with an innocent-looking Baobao perched on her head, its tail swaying back and forth behind, making her look like she was wearing a fluffy hat.
“It climbed up on its own.”
Fu Lianxue explained, dried her hands, and carefully cradling the little cat, turned to leave the kitchen.
“Fu Baobao, lie still, don’t move around and fall off.”
“Miao~”
Chu Zhaoqiu watched them leave, a smile filling her face as she put down the cloth and began to clean her hands.
She couldn’t stand having oil on her hands.
After Fu Lianxue reached the living room sofa, Baobao stepped on her shoulder and jumped down on its own.
It landed nimbly and steadily on the soft sofa, then hopped onto the floor, which had underfloor heating turned on, and promptly flopped over.
It just lay there, motionless.
Oh, the tip of its tail was still twitching.
Fu Lianxue knew exactly what was up with it.
Once winter arrived and the underfloor heating was on, the floors at home would be polished bright by Fu Baobao lying and rolling all over them.
Fu Lianxue, one hand on her hip and the other supporting herself on the sofa, looked down at the comfortable little cat and said, “Little friend Fu Baobao, is it really okay for you to lie down right after eating?”
Baobao turned its head to look at her.
“Miao!”
As if to say, Mind your own business when it comes to cat matters.
Fu Lianxue immediately crouched down and gave its fluffy belly a good rub.
Baobao meowed again.
Looking like a caricature of a villain, Fu Lianxue said with a mischievous expression, “Kittens are born to have their bellies rubbed by their mama!”
Baobao moved its head slightly, settling more firmly, showing no sign of resistance.
Chu Zhaoqiu came out soon after, and upon seeing this scene, also smiled, crouched down, and stroked Baobao’s head with her freshly cleaned hands, making it purr contentedly.
Fu Lianxue couldn’t help but sigh, “It’s such a blissful life, being a kitten. Someone takes care of you, you eat then sleep, wake up and play, then eat again, completely carefree.”
Chu Zhaoqiu lifted her gaze, her eyes meeting Fu Lianxue’s with gentle warmth.
Fu Lianxue smiled, leaned closer to her, and gave her a kiss. “But I’m very happy too~”
Chu Zhaoqiu’s eyes curved into a smile as she returned the kiss. “Me too.”
Fu Lianxue suggested, “Let’s take a bath together later!”
Chu Zhaoqiu had no objection. “Okay.”
Steam filled the air, the temperature comfortable.
One human, one yao, sat in the large bathtub, chatting about their day’s work, their moods light and cheerful.
They freely shared everything with each other, the happy and the unhappy, participating in each other’s lives.
Chu Zhaoqiu spoke of the pleas for help and lost souls she had encountered.
They each had their own stories, their own different lives.
Being a demon hunter meant dealing with all sorts of people4 every day.
Fu Lianxue also inevitably had to interact with others.
She mentioned meeting a very cute junior5 today, her eyes full of admiration when she spoke of this junior.
“She’s a very motivated and lively kid, has a great voice, is very polite, and even obediently calls people jiejie6. Aiya, she’s so likable, I feel like she’s made me younger just by calling me that~”
After she finished speaking, she saw her girlfriend sitting opposite her, a faint smile playing on her lips, her delicate eyebrows slightly raised, giving a look that was not quite a smile.
“Very likable?” Chu Zhaoqiu smiled faintly, her tone as gentle as ever, making it impossible to tell if there were any other ‘seasonings’7 added to her words. “Does my girlfriend like her too?”
Fu Lianxue immediately burst out laughing.
With a soft splash of water, she moved closer to Chu Zhaoqiu, sat in front of her, hugged her, kissed her again, and said, “She is indeed very likable to your girlfriend, but that’s not comparable to how much I like you.
“I only like you.”
She held Chu Zhaoqiu’s hand, pressing it against her own cheek. “In this matter, other people don’t even have a starting point, while you have always been at my finish line.”
Words of love spoken from the heart8 are always moving.
Chu Zhaoqiu’s eyes curved gently, her fingers lightly caressing her lover’s face, her gaze lingering. “I know, I’ve always known.”
Their gazes met, love like a lingering, entwined breeze, gently kissing.
Fu Lianxue’s hand on Chu Zhaoqiu’s waist slowly roamed upwards, gently lifting a strand of hair, its ends damp, and then did as she pleased on her lips.
Nibbling, biting, sucking, the charming lips grew even more vividly red.
The steam, dense and hazy, was like a pool of spring water rippling outwards, drawing one deeper and deeper.
Hearts pounded faster, the room filled with a perfect sense of enchanting charm.
Amidst the soft sounds of water, Fu Lianxue’s hand slipped back beneath the surface, as if seizing a tactical advantage.
Chu Zhaoqiu clearly sensed her lover drawing near and gently opened her eyes.
They were intimately close, as if about to dissolve into the water, merge into one again, never to be separated.
Chu Zhaoqiu saw Fu Lianxue smiling at her, eyes bright, full of slyness, possessing a beauty that was hard to describe.
As if infected by it, Chu Zhaoqiu unconsciously curved her lips, then kissed Fu Lianxue’s lips, her voice very, very soft, as if whispering a secret to her, “Our Lianxue is very proactive today…”
Her brow furrowed slightly, endless affection leaping to her brow, making her heart itch unbearably.
Fu Lianxue smiled even more beautifully and whispered in her ear, “That’s right, it’s to prove that you are the person I like the most, most, most~”
The warm breath brushed past her ear, like a soft feather teasing a sensitive heartstring, indescribably alluring.
Chu Zhaoqiu let out a helpless sigh.
Fu Lianxue truly lived up to her name, and a meiyao9 truly lived up to its reputation; she had truly realized this fact countless times.
In this world, could anyone possibly refuse Fu Lianxue?
She thought, probably not.
If there were, that person must surely be unromantic, unable to realize how perfect her Lianxue was, how irresistible she was.
She took the initiative to kiss Fu Lianxue’s lips, kiss her ear, and amidst her response, willingly became her captive. “My Lianxue can do whatever she wants.”
A single sentence ignited all the lingering passion.
From the bathroom to the bedroom, the surging, burning love was enough to start a prairie fire, making one’s throat dry, like a person lost in a vast desert, madly10 craving water.
At this moment, Fu Lianxue had an oasis that belonged solely to her.
In the oasis, she took her fill of moisture, like finding timely rain after a drought11, insatiably greedy.
Slender fingers reached into the oasis, teasing, while faint sounds of water and what she considered the most beautiful sounds drifted by her ears.
She grew even thirstier.
Chu Zhaoqiu felt a kiss land in the hollow of her neck.
Then her chin, her earlobe…
She let out a comfortable sigh, and couldn’t help but begin to anticipate, anticipate that this lingering, moving kiss would land on her lips.
But it didn’t.
She opened her hazy eyes and looked at the one who controlled all her emotions and desires12.
She saw Fu Lianxue, so close yet not coming any closer, watching her with a smile-filled gaze, as if up to some mischief.
Refusing to kiss her at this moment was probably the biggest mischief in the entire world.
Fortunately, her hands hadn’t stopped; otherwise, Fu Lianxue would now be the biggest bad yao in the world.
Fu Lianxue had originally intended to kiss her, but when she saw her expression, she suddenly held back.
When the usually prim and proper13 Young Family Head Chu showed such an impassioned expression for her, it surpassed all the beauty she had ever encountered.
Her Zhaoqiu, how could she look so good no matter what she did?
But her Zhaoqiu clearly wouldn’t let her just laze about and watch.
The next second, Fu Lianxue let out a surprised yelp, and with a mixture of shock and laughter, was pressed down underneath.
“Be more serious… serious everywhere.”
Chu Zhaoqiu’s lips pressed forward.
Fu Lianxue laughingly responded to her lips, responded to her tongue, responded to all her love.
They merged into one in the warm night, inseparable.
At this very moment, from body and mind to soul, no one could be a better match for each other than them.
After their passionate entanglement, the two took another bath.
When Fu Lianxue walked out of the bathroom, Chu Zhaoqiu was unfolding a new bedsheet.
A very familiar scene.
Ever since the two of them got together and unlocked the door to a new world, this scene would inevitably appear after every blissful session; the spare new bedsheets at home were plentiful.
Because Chu Zhaoqiu wouldn’t sleep on a damp bedsheet, nor would she tolerate a sheet being left like that overnight just because she could sleep in another room.
Young Family Head Chu was a neat freak and also very patient.
Fu Lianxue walked over with a smile, wrapped her arms around her waist from behind, and rested her chin on her shoulder.
“Our Young Family Head Chu isn’t tired at all, huh?”
Chu Zhaoqiu glanced at her, then turned back to her task, her expression gentle. “En, not tired.”
Fu Lianxue nodded in satisfaction. “Excellent physical constitution, I like it.”
After saying that, she yawned.
With a smile on her lips, Chu Zhaoqiu placed a gentle kiss on her hair. “If you’re sleepy, go to bed first. I’ll be over soon.”
Fu Lianxue didn’t let go, instead hugging her even tighter, clinging to her. “I don’t want to. If you don’t accompany me, I won’t sleep.”
Chu Zhaoqiu was helpless against her, smiling as she gently patted the back of her hand. “Alright, alright, just a little longer. We’ll sleep after changing the sheets. Be good.”
Fu Lianxue rubbed her chin against her shoulder, indicating a nod.
The bedsheet was finally changed.
The two moved the pillows and quilt back onto the bed.
Fu Lianxue pulled Chu Zhaoqiu down to lie beside her.
The new bedsheet had a gentle color tone and was very comfortable to lie on; they had picked it out together.
Fu Lianxue stretched her limbs, then looked at the person beside her, her smile radiant. “Our Zhaoqiu really is such a good, clean kid.”
Chu Zhaoqiu met her gaze, and then was kissed by her.
“Let’s pick out some other things together next time~” Fu Lianxue said.
Chu Zhaoqiu gathered her into her arms, her voice gentle. “Okay.”
Buying bedsheets together, new cups, new dishes, buying many, many things that belonged to them; they still had a long, long time to live together.
Just then, they heard the little cat scratching at the door outside.
Accompanying the scratching was a kittenish, milky meow.
The two looked at each other.
Fu Lianxue couldn’t be bothered to get up, so she used magic to open the door.
Baobao squeezed through the opening in the door, made a beeline for the bed, and stood by the edge, looking at them with wide, round eyes.
Chu Zhaoqiu tentatively lifted the quilt.
Without a second word, Baobao immediately dived in and lay down.
It was clear, it wanted to sleep with its mamas today too.
They stroked the little cat with faces full of affection, then looked at each other.
“Good night,” they said.
Then they looked at Baobao again.
“Good night, Baobao.”
“Good night la, Mama’s little sweetheart14~”
Under their strokes, Baobao comfortably closed its eyes and, without lifting its head, responded, “Miao~”
Before turning off the lights, Fu Lianxue didn’t forget to use her stern mother voice:
“Fu Baobao, sleep soundly tonight, no clubbing15.”
