Plan A
Rise in Another World 10
Dormitory
Su Xin showed her a smile, the aura on this girl was very familiar.
She must have killed many things, maybe not humans, but definitely living creatures.
She looked like a carefully carved robot, her eyes were actually silver, the same color as her hair, and her skin was white, looking strange.
The girl lowered her head and closed her eyes.
Su Xin slowly stroked Little One’s fur with one hand, looking gentle with her head lowered.
The magic scroll’s speed was very fast, in less than half a day, a group of people arrived at the entrance of Luotian Academy.
Su Xin raised her head to look at the academy’s signboard, the four characters “Luotian Academy” seemed to come at her with the force of a thousand jun, the characters were like golden hooks, looking grand and magnificent.
Someone was waiting at the entrance, Su Xin and the others followed the teacher’s instructions and moved into their respective rooms.
The academy was a typical ancient building, with carved beams and painted rafters, looking exceptionally splendid.
The academy was very large, without transportation vehicles, walking relied entirely on legs.
Wind element magicians should be the most convenient, they can walk with wind under their feet, which is faster.
Of course, there were not just over twenty new students, there were others in other places, adding up to about fifty people.
Magicians seek quality, not quantity, and magic academies are not some dilapidated shelter where anyone can enter.
Su Xin was assigned to her own dormitory, the first room on the second floor of the Rong character small courtyard.
The dormitory was a three-person system, and the roommate was a very heavyweight-looking girl with earth element.
“Hello, my name is Li Xiuxiu, nice to meet you.”
This was a girl who completely didn’t match her name.
When Su Xin saw her, she was greeting enthusiastically, while waving the chicken leg in her hand asking Su Xin if she wanted one, Su Xin politely declined and started to unpack her things.
Little One squatted at the head of her bed, looking extremely well-behaved.
“Wow, is that your cat? It’s so cute.”
Li Xiuxiu had finished eating the chicken leg in her hand at some unknown time, wiped her hands clean and wanted to touch Little One, but was avoided by Little One.
Little One showed its claws, looking very fierce.
“It seems to dislike being touched by others a bit.”
Li Xiuxiu very naturally withdrew her hand and rubbed her nose.
“Yes, it doesn’t like strangers much, only likes to be close to me. You should avoid it, be careful not to get scratched.”
Although Little One had self-control, Su Xin couldn’t guarantee what would happen if Little One got angry.
“Okay, I got it.”
Li Xiuxiu arrived a bit earlier than Su Xin, her bed was already made, and things were neatly arranged. After wiping her hands, she sat on the chair and started eating again, this time bringing out a plate of braised fish.
Su Xin’s mouth twitched, it seemed Li Xiuxiu’s family situation must be very good. This kind of storage ring that could instantly store cooked food wasn’t cheap to buy, and was quite in demand on the market. After all, no matter when, “people regard food as their primary need” is always right.
Little One moved its ears, continued watching Su Xin organize things, occasionally swaying its tail.
“It might shed fur, but I’ll clean it up thoroughly when that happens. However, it definitely won’t run around on your beds, please don’t worry.”
“It’s fine, it’s fine, I don’t mind. But whether she minds, I don’t know.”
Li Xiuxiu pointed at the still empty bed, this roommate hadn’t arrived yet.
“Mm, I’ll talk to her when the time comes.”
After Su Xin finished organizing her things, it wasn’t long before the third roommate arrived. She was a small-looking girl with delicate features, forming a stark contrast with Li Xiuxiu’s enormous figure.
What made her unhappy was that as soon as that little girl saw Little One in Su Xin’s arms, she started shouting, her voice shrill.
“Why does the academy still allow pets to be brought in! And it’s a cat!”
That girl seemed particularly averse to creatures like cats, her voice piercing.
Su Xin frowned and stroked Little One’s fur.
“Classmate, there’s no rule in the academy prohibiting bringing one’s own beast. If you don’t like cats, you can change dormitories.”
“Things like cats shouldn’t exist.”
That girl’s voice carried disgust, she glared at Little One, as if she wanted to kill it with her gaze.
Little One’s claws extended, its movement so fast that only an afterimage remained in the air, in the blink of an eye Little One was back, and that girl’s hair bun was already disheveled.
“Beast.”
The young girl waved her hand, intending to take action.
A water ball bounced through the air, blocked by Su Xin raising her hand.
“The academy expressly forbids students from fighting in private. Classmate, are you trying to break the rules?”
Su Xin’s face darkened, coldly looking at that person.
“You just wait, and your cat too!”
The young girl hurriedly tidied up her hair, stepped past Su Xin, and walked into the dormitory.
The atmosphere in the dormitory was very bad, even Li Xiuxiu stopped eating.
She wiped her chubby fingers, looking at the new roommate who called herself Liu Ying.
“Can you change dormitories?”
“Why should I?”
Liu Ying said dissatisfied, looking at Li Xiuxiu with a contemptuous gaze, fat pig.
“Because I don’t like you, oh, and she doesn’t like you either, her cat doesn’t like you too.”
The dormitory is a rather important place, if there’s a person full of malice towards you living with you, how terrifying and disgusting that would be.
Because living together, it’s too easy to do some tricks to sabotage something.
Su Xin nodded in agreement, pinching Little One’s soft cat paw. Little One placed its paw on her palm, Su Xin lifted it up to look at the pink little cat paw, and kissed it at her mouth.
Such an adorable creature seemingly bestowed by heaven, why would anyone dislike it? Even if they don’t like it, it’s fine, after all, there’s nothing that everyone likes, but if you don’t love it, you shouldn’t harm it.
Su Xin originally thought that if the new roommate didn’t like cats, she could apply to change dormitories, change to one that could accept cats, or the new roommate could change dormitories too.
But as soon as Liu Ying came, she obviously had malice towards Little One, looking as if she wanted to slaughter it.
Su Xin absolutely could not let such a person stay with her in the same dormitory.
Any thing that poses a threat to Little One should be kept away.
“Why should I change? I won’t change.”
Liu Ying said provocatively, with her eyes upturned at the corners, her tone disdainful.
Li Xiuxiu frowned and sat on the bed.
Su Xin left with Little One, showing a contemptuous expression to Liu Ying before leaving.
Tch, you say you won’t change just because you say so?
Su Xin didn’t know any teachers in the academy, only knew that examiner called Yan Ru.
Su Xin followed the map, walking towards the teachers’ office area.
Without much effort, she found the teacher responsible for dormitory matters. After hearing the situation, she thought for a moment.
“Of course, dormitory harmony is an important matter. If you can find someone willing to switch with her, I will arrange the exchange for them.”
The teacher was also easy to talk to. Asking her to go find a student to switch was too much to ask, after all, she was also very busy, where would she find so much time? But if a person had already been found, just let her know, and she could arrange the exchange.
Su Xin nodded and went out to find someone who could switch.
Mainly because she didn’t know anyone here, she could only go to each dormitory and ask one by one.
Su Xin first went to knock on the door of the first room on the first floor of their courtyard. Three girls politely refused, saying they were quite happy living together and didn’t want one of them to go to a new dormitory, and then have an unfamiliar person come.
Su Xin expressed her understanding and started to search room by room. When she reached the fifth room on the first floor, the atmosphere inside was very strange.
Two girls were huddled to one side, sitting on chairs looking constrained, while the person causing their situation was sitting on the bed, her silver long hair emitting a cold light.
When they heard Su Xin’s request for an exchange, both girls expressed their great willingness. Goodness, who wants to stay with this human ice cube? Moreover, her gaze was so terrifying, and she looked very formidable.
“Will you switch?”
This time Su Xin didn’t look at those two girls, but instead spoke to the person on the bed.
This little girl really seemed very interesting. Su Xin had a feeling that if she could become friends with this person, on her journey as a tadpole looking for her mother, she would definitely be a very powerful help.
The original owner’s mother said, come rescue me when you become stronger.
Since it’s a rescue, and it’s at that very unusual place called the Sky-reaching Tower, it must be very dangerous.
The young girl didn’t expect Su Xin would talk to her last time. Her silver eyes met Su Xin’s, and there was a long silence.
“If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as your tacit consent.”
Little One lay on Su Xin’s shoulder, not hindering Su Xin’s movements.
Su Xin grabbed the young girl’s hand, feeling as if something cold and gloomy was crawling all over her body, but that feeling vanished in an instant, lasting only for a moment.
The young girl widened her eyes, looking at where their hands were clasped, then she looked at Su Xin. Su Xin was amused by her reaction and gave her a big smile, brilliant and warm.
“Shall we go?”
The young girl stood up and started packing her things.
Su Xin was helping her, because this young lady looked like she wasn’t very good at tidying up. The young girl’s bed was very messy, though not in the sense of clothes strewn about messily, but the sheets and blanket weren’t made at all. One look and you could tell the owner was hopeless at daily life.
The young girl was pushed aside by Su Xin. Little One had already jumped down from Su Xin’s shoulder and was crouching at the head of the bed watching Su Xin tidy up, its tail swaying gently.
The young girl watched them, unconsciously falling into the cat’s pool of deep blue, like the color of sky and sea, very beautiful.
The cat meowed at her, very softly.
“Looks like it likes you very much.”
Su Xin said, tilting her head while tidying things, looking very happy.
Long after, the silver-haired young girl would never forget, the first colors to appear in her life were Su Xin’s smile and her cat’s blue eyes.
That was the faith for which she would die, for which she would live, for which she would aspire.
