Plan B
Heart-Stealing Operation 17
Chu Yanxi was lying on her shoulder, the faint fragrance on her body intertwined with the smell of alcohol, giving Su Xin a bit of a headache.
Eat, eat, eat… eat your big-headed ghost!1
Su Xin told herself to be calm, to control herself and not throw this person onto the floor.
Whether she was truly drunk or fake drunk remained to be observed.
And so, on this night with a good atmosphere, Su Xin pulled the drunken Chu Yanxi to the bathroom and made a surprising move.
A towel soaked in cold water was wiped messily across her face, waking Chu Yanxi up a little.
“Are you okay?”
“Mm.”
Chu Yanxi rubbed her forehead. She had been a bit muddled just now, but after being splashed with cold water, she felt she had regained some rationality.
As for what she had just said, she herself of course knew.
She had originally thought this was a very good opportunity, to feign madness while drunk and directly pounce on the little girl to get some benefits.
But she never expected that Su Xin would do this.
Actually, this was also within expectations, but Chu Yanxi had originally thought things wouldn’t develop this way; she hadn’t expected Su Xin’s attitude to be so firm.
Su Xin did not yet plan to have any kind of relationship with Chu Yanxi. Although she had a pretty good impression of Chu Yanxi, and they were in an ambiguous relationship, she had not forgotten her mission, what her main purpose was, and what she would face after the mission was completed.
In any case, one hour after the mission was completed, “Lin Xiaohuan” would definitely die.
When Su Xin thought about how she would be facing this kind of client in the future, her head ached again.
Future clients were all found by the system in the form of ending their own lives by suicide.
There are thousands of ways to commit suicide, but the reasons are nothing more than those few major categories.
And when girls commit suicide, it is mostly because of love, or physical problems.
Moreover, the severity of their situations must vary. In Su Xin’s view, Lin Xiaohuan’s level was indeed considered very light. She chose to commit suicide only because the external stimulation was too great, causing her psychological breakdown and leading to an impulsive act.
If she hadn’t died this time and was rescued instead, then she would absolutely not choose to commit suicide in the future.
Lin Xiaohuan had very serious psychological problems, but if she could get over this hurdle in her heart, her life would not be so dark and desperate; it was just her own psychological factor.
If she could see more of the outside world and make a few more friends, the situation might be completely different from now.
Su Xin didn’t understand what was wrong with these people’s love, why some people in this world could casually play with others’ feelings, while some people were stupid enough to give everything for others.
Su Xin would absolutely never be like that. No matter how much she liked someone, she would not do something to hurt herself for another person—of course, not that kind of critically important injury, but a lack of self-respect and self-love.
As a person, you first have to take yourself seriously, and only then will others take you seriously.
Suicide is simply one of the most foolish things in the world.
If it’s under non-essential circumstances, like Lin Xiaohuan’s, it’s just utterly stupid.
Besides escaping and leaving hurt for family and friends, what else can suicide do?
People who don’t care about you will only think your death is an insignificant matter.
Lin Xiaohuan and Chu Muyu were one is cheap2 and the other is a scum3. Abusing Chu Muyu was Su Xin’s mission; Su Xin could be ruthless.
Lin Xiaohuan’s family, Su Xin would sigh and feel it wasn’t worth it for them, but since they were just insignificant strangers to her, she wouldn’t have too many emotions.
But she couldn’t lead Chu Yanxi astray.
Developing things occasionally, for the mission, and also for a little bit of her own selfish desire, was enough at this current level; there was no need to go any further.
The bond between them didn’t need to be too deep. It wasn’t worth it for Chu Yanxi.
“Then you go wash up yourself. I’m going back to my room.”
Su Xin stuffed the towel into Chu Yanxi’s clothes, walked two steps toward the bathroom door, then suddenly thought of something and walked back.
“What’s wrong?”
Chu Yanxi was indeed a bit uncomfortable right now. Her awkward flirtation had just been rejected, and now she was planning to take a shower and go to sleep.
“I need your help with something.”
“Go ahead, what is it? I will be duty-bound not to refuse.”
“I hope you can leave some marks here.”
Su Xin pointed to her own neck.
“…Hm?”
Chu Yanxi was a little surprised, especially since her awkward flirtation had just failed.
“Chu Muyu asked me out to dinner, so… you know what I mean, right?”
Su Xin had nothing to hide. In fact, she knew that person was still following her.
Even though she was already living with Chu Yanxi as she wished, the person Chu Yanxi sent to watch her was still there.
Simply a peeping pervert.
Anyway, Chu Yanxi would find out tomorrow that she was going out to dinner with Chu Muyu, so she might as well tell her about it today and ask her for a favor.
“If you don’t want to go out to dinner with her, there’s no need to force yourself. Just refuse.”
Chu Yanxi washed her face with cold water again to wake herself up a bit more.
Since the little girl didn’t want to have any relationship or involvement with Chu Muyu, then directly deleting Chu Muyu’s contact information, blocking her, and making it impossible for her to ever contact her again was a very easy thing to do. So why not do that, and instead agree to Chu Muyu’s invitation to dinner?
“It’s not that I’m unwilling. Just say whether you’ll do me this favor or not. If you’re not willing, then I’ll go back and try it myself. If I can’t do it myself, I can just find someone else.”
At worst, she could pinch her own neck a few times to see if she could make marks. If not, then she would find another way.
“You’re not allowed to find someone else.”
Chu Yanxi subconsciously rejected the other possibilities Su Xin mentioned.
Just the thought of another person lying on Su Xin’s body, leaving marks on her neck, gave Chu Yanxi a feeling of extreme displeasure, and even faint violent thoughts.
Even if it was just acting for the occasion4 or someone helping out, it was not allowed.
“I’ll do it.”
“Then come to my room after you finish your shower. Thanks.”
“You want her to get angry, or to have some other feelings?”
“Things that were lost, must always be earned back.”
“Little villain.”
“Are you feeling sorry for your daughter? Then I’ll just go find someone else.”
Su Xin belatedly felt that she was being a bit too blatant. Although she felt Chu Yanxi didn’t care, what if there was a one-in-a-million chance she did?
The next second, Su Xin felt her butt get pinched.
“Go to the room and wait for me. I will definitely leave you satisfied.”
Why did these words always make one’s thoughts go astray?
Su Xin lay on the bed obediently waiting for Chu Yanxi. When Chu Yanxi pushed the door open and walked in, seeing Su Xin lying on the bed, she couldn’t help but relax her breathing.
The young girl’s skin was very fair, and her collarbones were beautiful and delicate. Paired with her nonchalant expression, it made one unable to resist pouring their gaze onto her. Those eyes seemed able to hook the soul and snatch the spirit5. When you looked into them, it seemed you could see right to the bottom, but when you pondered carefully, you found you couldn’t see anything at all.
A little liar whose heart and mouth were not one6.
But Chu Yanxi just happened to like that deceptive appearance of hers. Without needing to speak, just standing there she seemed soft and easy to bully, but when her expression became fiery, one would feel that this person was so powerful, that she should be high above, for people to look up to.
Everyone loved her infinitely charming and indulgent appearance; she alone loved the disdain and indifference hidden beneath the brilliance.
“Just make a few. The position is up to you. In short, somewhere relatively conspicuous where she can see is fine. It can be from the neck to below the collarbone; I’ll be wearing a shirt tomorrow. Don’t be too rough, after all, I still have to meet other people. Lastly… thank you.”
“I’m very happy to be of service to you.”
Chu Yanxi leaned down and first kissed Su Xin’s cheek.
Su Xin closed her eyes, looking like a flower waiting to be picked7, lost in her own thoughts.
This was actually not an overly erotic scene; it could even be described as very pure.
Chu Yanxi let out a nearly inaudible sigh. The little girl’s attitude was clearly all business, without any other thoughts.
Clearly, there had been some feeling before; she would blush when she said that sentence, but now she was incomparably calm.
But even so, Chu Yanxi couldn’t suppress the throbbing in her heart.
She decided to secretly treat it as a little treat.
Every time her lips touched the skin, Chu Yanxi could hear the sound of cheering in her heart.
After leaving a few marks on the neck, Chu Yanxi was content and touched those spots with her fingers.
In order to deepen the situation and make the person who saw it tomorrow even angrier, Chu Yanxi made a few more further down.
Su Xin kept her eyes closed, her thoughts running wild like a heavenly horse soaring across the skies8, who knows what she was thinking.
There was definitely a feeling, but it wasn’t too intense. As soon as she thought about what the consequences would be, she immediately extinguished those thoughts. In short, she could not overstep the boundaries now; it would be better for everyone in the future.
“You clearly feel something, but why don’t you open your eyes? Are you that confident that I won’t do anything else?”
“You won’t.”
“You really trust me.”
Chu Yanxi nuzzled Su Xin’s cheek, her eyelashes brushing against Su Xin’s face, bringing a tingling, numb sensation.
“I just trust my own judgment.”
“Is there anything else you need me to do?”
“That person tomorrow is your daughter. Don’t you feel sorry for her at all?”
“Adopted daughter.”
Chu Yanxi corrected.
“It was already a show of affection that I raised her. But now it’s time to let her learn a few things.”
“What a ruthless mother.”
“What? Do you mind?”
“No, I like it very much.”
Some things, once missed, are missed forever.
“As long as you like it. So, can I sleep here tonight?”
“As you wish.”
The room fell silent. As Chu Yanxi was drowsily about to fall asleep, she heard Su Xin’s voice.
“Chu Yanxi, why do you like me?”
“I just like you.”
