Plan A
Sister’s Secret 3
Not related by blood
“We were just joking around, don’t take it too seriously.”
The girl on the left gave a dry laugh, not quite sure how to handle the current situation.
After all, it is quite embarrassing to be caught talking behind someone’s back.
If the original owner had heard these words, she definitely wouldn’t have come over, but instead would have been sad all by herself.
But Su Xin is different. Sometimes, the more you tolerate, the more others take advantage of you.
“Yes, yes, isn’t it almost lunchtime? Let’s go.”
The girl on the right echoed, grabbing the hand of the girl on the left, and quickly walked away.
They walked very fast, leaving Su Xin behind.
“Seriously, she is that kind of person, yet she’s afraid of being talked about.”
The two girls lowered their voices and walked into the classroom.
Su Xin didn’t hear that sentence, and even if she had, it wouldn’t have bothered her.
This time, Su Xin’s focus was entirely on her older sister at home. She had no interest in the scheming and plotting of high school life.
Su Xin returned to the classroom, and those two girls glanced at her before looking away.
Zhang Shu was already in the classroom, sitting at her desk and working on exercises.
In a class full of top students, things are different. Su Xin twirled the pen in her hand and noticed that most of the students were doing their homework.
There were a few empty seats, which belonged to the day students who hadn’t arrived yet.
“Have you finished this one? I have a problem here that doesn’t seem quite right. Can you check the answer with me?”
Zhang Shu pointed to a math arithmetic problem.
Just one look at it gave Su Xin a headache. She pulled out her own exercise book and opened to the page, only to find that the original owner hadn’t had time to do it yet.
“Then hurry up and finish it, so we can check the answers together.”
Zhang Shu adjusted her glasses and looked down at her exercise book, saying,
“Okay.”
Is it really okay?
Su Xin originally wanted to ponder about this world, but now she was forced to battle with math problems.
Zhang Shu turned her head to look at Su Xin’s profile, propping her chin up with her hand, and couldn’t resist poking her.
“What are you doing?”
Su Xin didn’t look up, her pen constantly moving on the scratch paper.
“Nothing.”
Intimate actions between girls are very normal. Many girls in the class even playfully kiss, and no one finds it strange.
Zhang Shu leaned close to Su Xin and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, startling Su Xin.
“Stop messing around, I’m solving problems.”
Su Xin wiped the place where she had just been kissed and continued her calculations.
The school felt like a place where rumors and gossip never stopped circulating.
“Ha, acting all pure. You have no idea how wild those two get. It’s disgusting. They watch each other in the bathroom, and Zhang Shu even fingered her.”
The girl speaking had a disdainful tone, and Su Xin heard it crystal clear.
School was out for the afternoon, and Su Xin had agreed to have dinner with Zhang Shu in the cafeteria. With their backs to a table of people, they overheard these words.

Zhang Shu’s face changed, and she gripped her chopsticks tightly.
Su Xin continued eating without a change in expression. The original owner of this cute, Lolita-like appearance had attracted a lot of male admirers and a lot of female jealousy.
As for what they said about her and Zhang Shu, Su Xin had never seen any trace of such things in the original owner’s memories, so it was purely fabricated slander.
Zhang Shu put down her chopsticks, clearly finding it hard to swallow her food because of those words.
Su Xin finished eating at a leisurely pace, put down her chopsticks, wiped her mouth, and stood up.
Zhang Shu followed her lead and stood up, walking over to the lively table.
Su Xin stared at the girl who had just spoken, her face stern.
“Classmate, I’d like to ask how you know about things that we, the people supposedly involved, don’t even know about? We never did such things, so how did you personally witness them?”
Su Xin didn’t remember the girl’s name, only that she seemed somewhat familiar.
“Li Tong, don’t you think you’re going too far with your slander? Just because you don’t look good, you blame others for being pretty?”
Zhang Shu clearly knew something and responded with sarcasm.
The whole story about them watching each other in the bathroom, and Zhang Shu fingering, was complete nonsense. Last night, Zhang Shu and Su Xin even took a bath together without any touching.
Thus, a fierce argument began in the cafeteria. Su Xin maintained her persona and stood aside while a group of people around the girl named Li Tong stayed silent, watching Zhang Shu and Li Tong argue.
It wasn’t exactly a mutual quarrel, as Zhang Shu, being a top student, insulted with subtle and indirect remarks without using any foul language. Li Tong, on the other hand, resorted to vulgar street insults, cursing parents and ancestors, her mouth truly filthy.
“Zhang Shu, you’re really a loyal dog to this bitch. Just wait until she sells you out.”
Li Tong threw out this line and walked away, ignoring the people she had been eating with.
Those people couldn’t focus on their meal and quickly chased after her.
“Crazy.”
Zhang Shu muttered this word and pulled Su Xin away.
“I won’t. I’m not that kind of person.”
Su Xin said earnestly to Zhang Shu.
“I know. Those people just can’t stand to see you doing well; they’re jealous of you.”
Zhang Shu said angrily.
The original owner was truly a sweet and naive girl, but most of the other girls thought she was a green tea bitch.1
“They bully you because they think you’re easy to push around. You’re too soft. Next time, be tougher. What you did today was good. Don’t just act like it doesn’t matter when someone slanders you.”
“Got it.”
Su Xin nodded to show she understood. She bought a cup of milk tea for both Zhang Shu and herself, and they returned to the classroom while drinking.
After the evening self-study session, Zhang Shu and Su Xin parted ways.
Su Xin rode her electric scooter, feeling the breeze as she headed home. She parked the scooter and, upon opening the door, saw the butler waiting there.
“Miss, the eldest young miss is waiting for you in her room.”
“Okay.”
Su Xin nodded, tossed her schoolbag onto the sofa, and walked up the stairs to the second floor.
Yan Xingyu’s bedroom was the first room at the corner; it was the master bedroom, and the original owner had never been inside.
Su Xin knocked on the door, making a “dong dong dong” sound.
Someone opened the door. Su Xin looked up and got a clear view of her sister’s appearance.
She looked like a mixed-race person, combining the beauty of both Eastern and Western features. Her eyes were black, and her hair was slightly curled at the ends, cascading over her shoulders.
She glanced at Su Xin and gestured for her to come in.

That glance contained no emotion, which made Su Xin frown inwardly with curiosity.
“The butler said you wanted to talk to me?”
Yan Xingyu’s voice was also very pleasant, with a lilting intonation and a slightly low pitch, almost as if she were flirting.
“Yes.”
“What do you want to say?”
Yan Xingyu sat down on a chair and looked into Su Xin’s eyes.
“I want to know about the basement that day…”
Su Xin’s attitude was somewhat urgent, filled with confusion and fear.
“You don’t need to know. You’ve grown up now and should understand that sometimes knowing too much is not a good thing.”
Yan Xingyu averted her gaze, looking at the carpeted floor.
“But… why? Such a strange thing, don’t I have the right to know?”
Su Xin perfectly played the role of a confused sister wanting to know the truth.
“What do you want to know?”
Yan Xingyu’s tone was calm and unruffled.
If an outsider were to hear their conversation at this moment, they certainly wouldn’t think they were sisters, because Yan Xingyu’s tone was not exactly kind.
Not that it wasn’t kind, but it felt distant and polite, as if responding to a stranger’s inquiry.
Did Yan Xingyu care for the original owner? At least before this, the original owner thought so, but Su Xin didn’t feel it at all.
“Aren’t you going to explain the basement to me?”
Su Xin’s eyes widened.
“What is that coffin, why is Mom’s jade ring on your shelf, why won’t you let me see it, and what was up with your eyes that day?”
Su Xin asked several questions.
“I don’t plan to explain these things, nor do I intend to tell you. As for your mother’s jade ring, if you want it, take it. It serves no purpose for me. Don’t meddle in my affairs anymore.”
Yan Xingyu said a long sentence in one breath. She touched the pen in her hand, and her mood seemed to turn sour.
“Just live as you did before. You’ve come of age, but I’ll continue to support you financially until you no longer need it.”
Yan Xingyu spoke directly, as if there was only a monetary relationship between them.
Su Xin indeed felt this way, but she couldn’t act it out in her role.
“But aren’t we sisters? I don’t just want your money. If supporting me isn’t your responsibility, then when I have the ability, I’ll repay all the money to you.”
Su Xin looked up at Yan Xingyu.
“Unnecessary.”
“It is necessary. You brought me to your side and told me you are my sister, so you raised me. But if you say this now, it seems like there’s no relationship between us. Since we’re not sisters, why should I enjoy your support? Isn’t that unfair to you? We have no kinship or connection.”
“No kinship or connection? I remember living together for ten years.”
Yan Xingyu put down the pen in her hand, looking at Su Xin with displeasure.
“If we’ve lived together for so long, then why won’t you tell me those things? Are you going to say the coffin you bought is just for collection and your red eyes are just colored contact lenses?”
“My dear sister, you are really clever.”
Yan Xingyu calmly accepted the reasons Su Xin gave.
“Indeed, I have a hobby of collecting coffins, and I like wearing colored contact lenses. Can’t you accept these little hobbies of mine?”
Yan Xingyu looked at Su Xin with a rather playful expression.
(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)
“…Hmm… I can accept it.”
“Do you have anything else to ask?”
“No, nothing else.”
“Then go back to your room and have a good rest. You have class tomorrow.”
Yan Xingyu spread her hands towards Su Xin, signaling her to leave.
Su Xin’s forehead twitched as she looked at Yan Xingyu, who had no desire to continue the conversation. This was really uncooperative. Although the questions she just asked were not necessary for her to know, Su Xin did not expect Yan Xingyu’s attitude to be so perfunctory and direct.
“Good night, sister.”
Su Xin had no reason to stay in Yan Xingyu’s room any longer. When she closed the door, she glanced inside again and saw that Yan Xingyu’s black eyes seemed to have turned red again.
Su Xin walked back to her own room in her slippers and closed the door, thinking about the layout of Yan Xingyu’s room she had just seen.
Thick dark red curtains and a large black bed gave a feeling of opulence and oppression.
The author has something to say:
Su Xin: We have no relationship / We’re not close / No kinship or connection
Empress / General / Sister: Ha
Please wave your hands and hype with me, okay?
