Plan A
Guiding Stars 22
Marry You
Three years is a long time, enough for a child to blossom into a remarkable young woman, and to understand many things.
Yue Xingyao was fifteen years old. Her surroundings were kept pristine, with only Liujiin, who had already married, still serving by her side. Aside from Liujiin, it was rare to see any other male figures around her; a remarkably ascetic environment.
There were always those lacking foresight, attempting things they shouldn’t.
Yue Xingyao couldn’t outright refuse the man the Emperor Consort had bestowed upon her.
The man was exceedingly handsome, clad in thin gauze, his eyes alluring.
When his hand touched her neck, Yue Xingyao couldn’t resist snapping his wrist.
“Before I lose my patience, get out. Otherwise, it won’t just be one hand.”
The man seemed to be under the influence of something, but the pain in his hand brought a brief moment of clarity. He scrambled towards the door, completely disregarding his current state.
Liujiin had been keeping watch, fearing Yue Xingyao’s anger. Seeing the man, disoriented and clutching his hand, rush out, he ordered the servants to carry him away.
It was utterly disgusting.
Yue Xingyao repeatedly scrubbed at that patch of skin, frightening Liujiin.
Something seemed terribly wrong.
Unable to stop Yue Xingyao’s frantic scrubbing, Liujiin could only run to find Su Xin. Only the First Princess could control the Fifth Princess.
“What happened?”
Since they resided close by, there was no need for a carriage. As Su Xin walked out, Liujiin followed close behind.
Three years had passed, and Su Xin had become even more handsome, having completely shed her youthful air.
“The Emperor Consort sent someone… The Princess broke his wrist and is now furious.”
“Is she throwing a tantrum again?”
When Su Xin entered, Yue Xingyao was still self-destructively scrubbing, the small patch of skin already rubbed raw and red, faint traces of blood visible.
“Alright, stop it.”
Su Xin quickly grabbed Yue Xingyao’s hand, but was pulled into the water.
“Hey… you…”
Her clothes were soaked through, clinging uncomfortably.
“Throwing a tantrum again?”
“Da Huangjie…”
Yue Xingyao stopped, burying her head in Su Xin’s embrace, utterly aggrieved.
“I feel disgusted. I don’t like them touching me…”
“Then don’t let them touch you.”
“How do you endure it, Da Huangjie? Letting those men’s fingers wander over you, then kissing them…”
Yue Xingyao’s eyes were red, but she kept her head down, not letting Su Xin see her current tormented expression.
“Stop, stop, stop…”
The more she spoke, the more nauseating it became.
Qin Minran had given birth to a girl two years ago. To outsiders, Su Xin appeared relatively virtuous, having only two concubines besides her official wife.
Those two concubines were actually Su Xin’s subordinates, rather capable ones. Su Xin had them put on a show, incidentally keeping an eye on Qin Minran.
“Who says I… tsk… I haven’t touched them. Don’t openly defy your Father Consort. You’re fifteen now, and the Emperor Consort is very likely to arrange a marriage for you. I have a medicine that can make those men think they…”
Su Xin winked. Yue Xingyao should be one of her own now; good things should be shared.
“Then… what about the gecko mark of your two concubines…”
Yue Xingyao raised her head, her eyes inexplicably gleaming.
“They’re just my subordinates.”
“What are you smiling about?”
Su Xin felt she couldn’t keep up with the younger generation’s thinking. The child who had just appeared half-dead was now suddenly smiling.
“Da Huangjie, help me wash this area. It’s so dirty.”
Yue Xingyao acted coquettishly, pointing to a patch of skin below her collarbone.
Su Xin’s temples throbbed. She gently washed the area for Yue Xingyao with water, intending to apply medicine.
“Da Huangjie… Do you think I’m sick?”
Just as Su Xin was about to leave the bath, she heard Yue Xingyao’s quiet voice behind her.
“How could that be?”
Su Xin glanced at her younger sister. All day long, she spoke such nonsense.
“But I’m different from them. I don’t like holding men, nor do I want to do anything with them… Da Huangjie… Is it abnormal for me to feel this way? Just thinking about holding and kissing them makes me feel nauseous. I don’t seem to be able to accept doing that kind of thing with anyone.”
Yue Xingyao looked utterly pitiful, her face filled with self-doubt. In another world, this would be a man questioning his own virility.
This was a matter of dignity and face, a significant issue. Su Xin wasn’t a doctor and couldn’t treat this.
Su Xin took off her wet clothes and shoes, feeling extremely uncomfortable. There were plenty of clean towels here. She’d have Yue Xingyao’s servants bring over suitable clothes. If there weren’t any suitable ones, she could walk a bit further to retrieve some from her own residence.
“It’s hard to say. Maybe it’s because you’re still young. Maybe you’ll be fine in a few years.”
Su Xin dried herself with a towel, speaking casually.
Yue Xingyao was still in the water. Seeing her elder sister dry herself in front of her, her heart couldn’t help but pound, losing its rhythm.
What was wrong with her?
“It’s not because of my age. I don’t want to be intimate with anyone, only you, Da Huangjie. Can you try it with me?”
Yue Xingyao felt her palms sweating but convinced herself the moisture was simply the bathwater.
At this moment, she couldn’t hear any other sound, only the beating of her own heart.
Nervousness, suppression, a suffocating anticipation.
Su Xin paused in her drying, turning to face Yue Xingyao, the towel resting on her shoulder.
The young woman in the pool was beautiful, her beauty tinged with a heroic air. The light in her eyes shimmered, as if carrying a thousand stars.
“You want to kiss me?”
Su Xin’s tone was playful, almost amused.
“Y-yes!”
Yue Xingyao nodded, rising from the pool and walking towards Su Xin, the water dripping from her body leaving trails.
“Da Huangjie, I want to try… just want to try…”
“Don’t you think this idea is very wrong?”
“What’s wrong? I just want to be close to Da Huangjie.”
She wanted to, so badly.
Su Xin continued drying herself, then tossed the towel onto Yue Xingyao. Oh, could this child be a lesbian?
It didn’t seem so. Su Xin recalled the original host’s memories. Did Yue Xingyao have anyone in her life in the previous timeline?
The memories were blurry because the original host herself couldn’t remember. Her mind was filled with how fierce and capable her Wu Meimei was, not caring about her private life.
“You’re my sister, and you want to kiss me, hm?”
Su Xin was much older than Yue Xingyao, naturally taller as well. She looked down at Yue Xingyao, raising an eyebrow.
Yue Xingyao felt like she couldn’t breathe. She couldn’t resist Da Huangjie’s expression, filled with arrogance and amusement, as if everything was within her grasp. Confident yet not obnoxious, her radiance was so intense that it made one want to chase after her.
Yue Xingyao felt her heart ache because of Su Xin, only two words in her mind: ‘I want.’
“We’re not blood-related sisters. Da Huangjie is so capable, you must have already figured it out, right?”
Su Xin didn’t deny it.
A chaotic kiss. Yue Xingyao stood on tiptoe. Su Xin was somewhat amused, allowing herself to be pushed down onto the soft couch behind her.
Yue Xingyao’s kiss was hasty and burning, without any technique, yet filled with an aggressive air.
Su Xin held her head, stilling her movements.
“Wu Meimei, if you kissed a young gentleman with this technique, you’d make them cry countless times.”
Su Xin wiped her lips, her tongue darting out to lick them, teasing.
Yue Xingyao’s heart beat even faster. She felt like she was about to faint.
Su Xin seriously considered what she was doing and wondered if it wasn’t a bit inappropriate.
Fourteen didn’t want to say anything anymore. It knew things would inevitably develop like this.
And Yue Xingchen, in the system space, was stunned by the screen full of mosaics.
“Immortal, Immortal, what… what is this?”
Yue Xingchen was a bit apprehensive. She didn’t know Fourteen was a system. Explaining things to these not-so-bright ancients wouldn’t work, so Fourteen didn’t bother, letting the client call it whatever.
“There’s a small problem, nothing major. If you’re bored, I can show you something else.”
“What is it?”
“Palace drama.”
“What’s the point of watching a bunch of little men fighting amongst themselves? Immortal… This king isn’t very interested.”
“Immortal… why are they all women!”
…
“Immortal, next episode, please.”
While Yue Xingchen was watching TV, Su Xin and Yue Xingyao were facing each other.
Yue Xingyao pressed Su Xin down on the soft couch, nuzzling her neck.
“What are you doing?”
Su Xin pushed the child away.
Yue Xingyao’s eyes were moist, like a little wolf pup that hadn’t eaten meat, pitiful and pathetic.
“Da Huangjie, I like you so much… I really, really like you.”
Yue Xingyao snuggled against Su Xin again. She seemed to understand the emotions bursting from her chest; perhaps that was love.
Su Xin didn’t take it seriously, dismissing it as a child’s dependence.
She never believed in sweet nothings and vows. Only time and actions could prove everything.
How easy were sweet words? They could be uttered with the opening and closing of one’s mouth. Who couldn’t say them?
Some people could never say “I love you” in their entire lives, yet loved deeply for a lifetime.
Some people said “I love you” casually, yet never took responsibility.
Su Xin was the third type. She would never say it if she didn’t love, and would definitely say it if she did, but she usually couldn’t distinguish between love and not love. She could only differentiate between like and dislike, unable to discern deeper layers.
Yue Xingyao’s wetness soaked Su Xin again, and Yue Xingyao used a towel to dry her.
Yue Xingyao crouched down, tending to Su Xin’s legs, and suddenly blurted out, “Da Huangjie, I’ll marry you in the future.”
Su Xin clicked her tongue and placed her foot on Yue Xingyao’s chest.
Yue Xingyao didn’t mind at all, only finding Da Huangjie incredibly alluring in this manner.
“Wu Meimei, I’m not someone just anyone can marry.”
