The previously harmonious family of four instantly became a living hell. The mother’s death left the two children and the man bewildered. After a moment, the man seemed to realize something and was hurriedly leaving with his two children, but was blocked by the person entering through the door.

“How lovely indeed.”

The employer was a middle-aged man, but his temples were graying, his face aged, looking like an elderly man near death.

“Once, I too had such a harmonious family. My son and daughter were so adorable. But that day when I returned home, I didn’t hear their voices calling out to me.”

“They used to rush over and sweetly call me papa, but I failed to be a good father. When I finally found them, they were already rotting corpses, the wounds on their bodies horrifying. I can imagine them calling for papa while being tortured, but their papa never came. They died in despair. And you! What right do you have to enjoy all this!”

The man’s face was almost distorted with anger, while the man opposite him, protecting his two children, lowered his head.

He wasn’t unaware.

The two teenage children were also silent. They weren’t unaware either.

What an ugly world.
