Sorry for the rant, but that system just pisses me off.
FC has done nothing wrong, but is forced to do a lot what she doesn’t want. That system is in no way better than the previous owner of FCs body, while it is downplayed as a cute joke to progress a relationship between people who don’t like each other.
To make it even worse it is always insulting it’s host for no reason. The mistake that lead to the misfortune in the first place (switching the consciousness) was caused by a fuck up from the system and it’s colleagues so it should be greatful to FC for correcting the mistake and not being mad that she was torn of her old life. If the system doesn’t get slapped in the face like in “solo leveling”, than this novel doesn’t deserves it’s fairly high star rating.
There is not a single redeeming argument that can justify the systems behaviour besides being evil. FCs family did something wrong, good punish them. The other FCs is a piece of trash? Make her new life difficult af. But not the innocent FC who just “inherited” the dept for something that hasn’t even happened yet. The system in “villainess with a cat changing system” at least punished the villain and not someone innocent. Also the FL doesn’t want to be near the MC so it basically punishes someone innocent and a victim.
I could say even more but I guess, I shouldn’t think so much about it when not even the author has thought about it so much.
