She and Her · Side CP

Fu Lingfeng x Wen Wan ⑦

    “You must listen.”

After calming down, rationality returned. Once all the distracting elements were eliminated, the last remaining possibility, no matter how outrageous, was the answer.

    She had guessed correctly.

The Omega’s body in her arms was still trembling slightly. It was hard to tell if it was from fear or the physiological instinct left in this body from countless nights.

“How many weeks?” Fu Lingfeng asked.

Knowing this could no longer be hidden, Wen Wan forced herself to sit up and confront the Alpha. “This is my child.”

It has nothing to do with you.

This is my child, and mine alone.

“An Omega can’t get pregnant alone,” Fu Lingfeng corrected, kissing Wen Wan’s earlobe again.

The two of them were pressed together, so intimately close. After changing out of the clothes tainted with the smell of fish, her wife had not had another hurtful, nauseated reaction to her. The pink sweater she wore wasn’t new; it was one Wen Wan had worn before, and it was also stained with the Omega’s scent. When layered together, the Alpha and Omega’s pheromones dispersed in what should have been a deeply intimate and fragrant embrace, but the soft, fragrant body in her arms was only growing colder and colder.

“You think I would take your child from you?!” Fu Lingfeng’s voice suddenly rose. Sometimes, being too smart wasn’t a good thing.

Wen Wan’s reaction proved this point.

She lifted her head. Her eyes, as gentle as water, were glistening even more, but not with passion—with fear.

When she parted her lips, a white indent remained on her lower lip. The skin wasn’t broken or bleeding, but how much force would it take to leave such a mark?

    “Please…”

    The Omega begged bitterly.

Please don’t take the child away? Please don’t abort my child?

Just as one mystery was solved, a new life was about to arrive… The bit of joy the Alpha had just felt suddenly plummeted to the abyss. When she looked down at the Omega, her eyes were unfathomably deep.

“Wen Wan, is this the kind of person I am in your heart?”

She didn’t even call her Wanwan anymore.

The only response was the Omega’s soft trembling. In her nervousness, she tried to bite her lip again, very hard.

But a finger quickly slipped between her lips, carrying the Alpha’s cedarwood pheromones and the scent of the shower gel from before. In an instant, it was marked with two teeth imprints.

“Don’t torture yourself.” The Alpha sighed. It was a mix of helplessness and resignation, leaving her with no choice but to offer comfort.

“If you’re unhappy, you can bite me.”

Wen Wan looked at her again, her eyes moist and watery.

    Really?

    Is that okay?

The deep, dark eyes that looked back seemed to give tacit permission.

    And then.

Wen Wan released her teeth—not out of soft-heartedness. She switched her target to the Alpha’s arm, rolled up the sweater’s sleeve, and bit down hard.

She bit with extreme force, as if to vent all the grievances and frustrations from this period, and even from the past five years, without any consideration for the consequences.

The Alpha silently endured it all. Aside from a slight frown at the very beginning, she showed no other reaction, let alone resistance. She was like a tall, sturdy pine tree, yet one that would gently lower a branch to shield the person beneath from the scorching sun, wind, and rain.

As if… it was watching you.

If Wen Wan’s personality were a bit more fiery, she would have continued to point at Fu Lingfeng’s nose and curse at her after biting, yelling things like “bastard” or “bully.”

But the Omega was truly too good and too soft. Even at a time like this, after biting someone and venting her anger, she only whimpered softly. There was no fierceness at all, only her own pitiable state.

A new mark appeared on her arm.

Fu Lingfeng glanced at it but didn’t seem to care. Her first priority was to soothe her wife’s emotions. “The child is yours. You can decide whether to keep it or not. No one, and I mean no one, is worthy of fighting you for it.”

This sentence calmed Wen Wan’s heart a little.

Fu Lingfeng added, “But carrying a child has never been something an Omega does alone…”

    “I can do it alone!”

Wen Wan suddenly looked up. Her eyes, misty from crying, were pitiful and beautiful, and her voice carried a sob. But when it came to the child, she became resolute.

This was a side of Wen Wan that Fu Lingfeng had never seen before. Suddenly, the initial joy of learning about the child was tinged with a bit of jealousy.

Jealousy for a child she hadn’t even met yet.

The Alpha’s possessive instincts were roaring, and Fu Lingfeng was no exception.

    “You can’t.”

The Alpha interrupted, explaining with clear logic. “It’s not just about going to the hospital for check-ups. The growth of the embryo during the gestation period itself requires the comfort and companionship of both the Alpha’s and Omega’s pheromones. I need to provide it with my pheromones. That is also my responsibility, a part I must bear.”

“Not only as your partner, but also as the child’s parent.”

Both physiologically and emotionally, Wen Wan couldn’t refute this point.

During her silence, the Alpha’s pheromones once again seeped out and swept over her…

It had to be said, the compatibility between their AO pheromones was just shameless!

Perhaps it was because she had already vented her emotions with a good cry, but being enveloped in the scent of cedarwood, Wen Wan, who had resolved to resist, found herself unconsciously relaxing, even sinking, falling into the trap her partner had set in advance.

Didn’t I specifically remind myself to be careful?!

Wen Wan struggled with herself internally. Finally, her emotions calmed down a bit, and Fu Lingfeng spoke again:

“Let’s put the child aside for a moment and talk about Jiang Siyu’s part, shall we? The Miss Jiang you kept mentioning earlier. Hasn’t Wanwan always wanted to know?”

    “No!”

Wen Wan became resistant again, her reaction even more intense than when Fu Lingfeng had guessed she was pregnant.

Just as her wife knew her temperament, after five years of marriage, Fu Lingfeng also knew Wen Wan.

When she didn’t want to listen, she would cover her ears, refusing to communicate with the outside world. But covering her ears didn’t mean it was over. Later, when she was alone, she would still think about it, still guess, her thoughts like a wild horse, always galloping towards the worst possible direction, sinking deeper and deeper, until she was struggling alone in a quagmire, pulling the other person down with her…

But this time, Fu Lingfeng wanted to pull them both up together.

So, the Alpha took down Wen Wan’s hands from her ears. Her actions were gentle yet stubborn, and her tone was utterly serious.

    “No, you must listen.”

—Fu Lingfeng was Fu Lingfeng. Even if she learned to change, deep down in her bones, she was still that same person. She could never become someone else.

Therefore, this was the only way she could win her wife back.
