Sister’s Secret 16
Agreement
Su Xin happily went to university, while the lonely old man Yan Xingyu stayed home alone in an empty nest.
Before leaving, Su Xin drew a tube of blood for herself every day and then saved it up for a week to give to Yan Xingyu.
Yan Xingyu drank the sweet blood and always felt that something was not right.
She always felt that when she swallowed, her tongue felt a bit bitter, but this blood was clearly not spoiled.
Yan Xingyu called every day, and sometimes Su Xin couldn’t answer because she was in class. However, she would definitely video call in the evening, with Yan Xingyu watching on the computer as Su Xin, facing the camera, told her what she did that day.
βYouβre video calling with whom? Why do you have to tell her everything you did all day long?β
The roommate asked curiously; even parents wouldn’t report such details.
βMy sister.β
βYou talk about these things with your sister? I donβt even talk to my sister about this; if I nag her about it, sheβd think Iβm annoying her to death.β
The roommate found it hard to imagine.
βMy relationship with my sister is pretty good; sheβs always worried about me.β
Su Xin smiled, and it was clear she was in a good mood.
The roommate didnβt say anything further. Although she thought this situation seemed full of points to criticize, since the person involved had no objections, she had nothing else to say.
βWhy do you feel like you look prettier today?β
Yan Xingyu leaned over the computer, looking at her little wife; vampires are not afraid of radiation and will not become nearsighted.
βReally? I put on a little light makeup today.β
βWhy are you wearing makeup?β
Yan Xingyu felt a bit unhappy; her little wife didnβt try to look pretty in front of her.
βWhy not? I just wanted to do it, so I did.β
Su Xin, influenced by her roommate recommending a beauty product, simply wanted to wear makeup because she felt like it.
People are naturally drawn to beauty.
Yan Xingyu replied with an βohβ and had no other reaction.
After ending the video call, Yan Xingyu sat in the chair with a sullen face.
So angry.
But she didnβt know what she was angry about; she was just upset that her little wife didnβt put on makeup in front of her, which was really childish.
She wasnβt that childish.
Yan Xingyu didnβt know why she felt more and more upset; she was so angry that she didnβt even want to drink blood that night.
Lying in her coffin, it was another night without her little wife by her side.
Although her body was cold, her little wife was always very warm, and even her breathing was so pleasant.
Yan Xingyu lay awake with her eyes open, and simply got out of the coffin to go downstairs to find the butler.
βMiss?β
The butler looked at Yan Xingyu respectfully and inquired if there was anything she needed.
βI want to go to her school right now.β
As for who βsheβ was, the butler certainly knew.
βDid something happen, such as her falling ill?β
If she was really ill, the butler thought he should prepare some medicine to take over.
βNo, I just want to see her.β
It was currently around 10 PM, and by the time she got there, it was about 10:20; their dormitory closed at 11.
Su Xin felt a bit dazed when she received the call.
βYou said you came and are downstairs at our dormitory?β
βYeah, come down.β
Su Xin hung up the phone and hurriedly ran downstairs in her slippers.
Yan Xingyu stood at the bottom of her building, wearing a dark red outfit that gave her the luxurious and elegant feeling of a vampire, cold and beautiful.
βWhatβs the sudden visit for?β
The weather was still not too cool, and Su Xin, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, looked up at Yan Xingyu with a puzzled expression.
βI wanted to see you, so I came. Here, this is for you.β
Yan Xingyu held a bag of barbecued food that emitted a strong aroma; she had asked the butler to stop at a barbecue stall along the way to buy it, remembering that her little wife liked to eat this.
βCome sit in our dormitory; you can leave when the time comes, or you could sleep with me tonight, but Iβm afraid you wonβt be used to it.β
After all, this vampire was used to sleeping in a coffin.
βIs that okay?β
βOf course, I think my bed should be fine.β
Yan Xingyu told the butler to pick her up again in the morning.
When Su Xinβs roommates saw Yan Xingyu, they thought their eyes might go blind.
These two definitely didnβt look related by blood.
They always thought Su Xin was quite pretty, considered a little beauty with outstanding features, but after seeing her sister today, they realized what true beauty looked like.
After all, the beauty of vampires is evident.
Yan Xingyu had features reminiscent of a mixed-race person, with slightly wavy long hair, an icy aura, and a strong, dominating presence.
Everyone happily shared the late-night snacks that Yan Xingyu had brought. She didnβt say much, just politely nodded to Su Xinβs roommates, her expression frozen as usual; she was always like this with outsiders.
Yan Xingyu lay on Su Xinβs bed. Su Xin had already washed up, so she climbed up too.
The bed wasnβt very big, but Su Xin nestled perfectly in Yan Xingyuβs embrace.
βGood night.β
Yan Xingyu hugged her little wife and fell into a deep sleep, closing her eyes.
Su Xin was playing with her phone when someone in the dormitory group chat started to comment.
βThey definitely donβt look related by blood. Your sister is so beautiful! Is she mixed-race?β
βYeah, yeah! And your sister has such a strong dominating aura; she looks like she doesnβt like to talk.β
βIf I had such a sister, I would also be willing to report my whereabouts to her every day!β
βWhat can I do? Iβm also very desperate! I donβt have such a sister. By the way, why did your sister come to find you in the middle of the night? Arenβt you just in this city? It only takes twenty minutes to get home. Why is she looking for you at this hour?β
Su Xin looked at the various messages and emojis sent by her roommates and replied.
βShe said she wanted to come see me.β
Roommate A: I have a strange feeling of being fed dog food. Why is that?
Roommate B: I also feel something weird; maybe Iβve become a fool from being in a relationship.
Roommate C: I might just be seeing people through a corrupted lens.
Su Xin set her phone aside, covered herself with the blanket, and fell asleep holding Yan Xingyu.
The next morning, Su Xin had a full schedule, so she got up at 7:20, washed up, and prepared to go to the cafeteria.
βSister, just wait for the butler to pick you up.β
βMm.β
Seeing that her little wife wasnβt wearing any makeup today made Yan Xingyu feel strangely comfortable.
Yan Xingyu was by the window, watching Su Xin laughing and chatting with others as she left.
She didnβt just go back; instead, she stayed in Su Xinβs dormitory.
During the noon break, she heard a commotion outside the dormitory door.
βPfft, Iβm dying of laughter! That guy who asked us to go eat, the awkward expression when he got rejected by Qiaoqiao was hilarious.β
βHe looks pretty good, though. Are you really not interested?β
That was the voice of Su Xinβs roommate.
βI have no feelings.β
Yan Xingyu sat on the bed, contemplating. Her little wife was getting in touch with a new and broader world and was becoming more outstanding; now, she could no longer use studying as an excuse to refuse others.
Yan Xingyuβs mood soured again as she looked at the glaring sun outside, making her feel even more irritable.
Actually, she was still very afraid that her little wife would leave her; after all, she was not someone who was indispensable to her.
Yan Xingyu really couldnβt bear to let go now, and she didnβt know why.
She just felt that if her little wife were to leave her, she would be so sad that it felt like the sky was about to collapse.
When the roommates came back and saw Yan Xingyu still there, they cheerfully greeted her, and the three of them went to get water.
βArenβt you leaving yet? I thought you would have left this morning.β
βI want to tell you something.β
Yan Xingyuβs expression looked exceptionally sad, leaving Su Xin somewhat confused.
Wasnβt everything fine this morning? How did it turn into this now?
βWhat is it?β
βIf you killed me, wouldnβt you leave me?β
βWhat are you talking about, sister?β
Su Xin frowned; she remembered that she had never expressed such thoughts in front of Yan Xingyu.
βI know, you want to kill me, from the very beginning.β
Yan Xingyu said this seriously, her eyes returning to their original dark red color, staring at Su Xin.
βI can hear your heart.β
Yan Xingyu said something rather strange.
γHost, our dialogue has an absolute barrier for security protection, and there is no mind-reading technique in this world; no one will know about our existence.γ
Fourteen was still very confident about this point, after all, its creator had never made a mistake.
Su Xin still wore a bewildered expression.
βSister, you havenβt been infected with the idiot power from your eldest cousin, have you?β
βIf I tell you, you might not believe it, but I think you must believe it, because this is an incredible power; I can hear the wishes deep in your heart.β
βYou wanted to kill me from the first moment you came to find me that night; I knew it.β
At that time, Su Xinβs killing intent indeed existed in her heart and was very intense.
βBut I donβt understand; after you learned those things, I saved you. According to human emotions, you should be grateful to me, but whyβ¦ why do you still want to kill me?β
βThat feeling originally became very faint because I couldnβt hear the voice in your heart, but later it reappeared.β
Yan Xingyu quietly looked at Su Xin, showing an expression of helplessness on the surface, like a confused and wronged child.
βBut you are clearly so good to me; I can feel it. Even at that time, when I almost made you die, you didnβt show any signs of blaming me; even at that time, the voice in your heart didnβt sound.β
The vampire didnβt understand why her little wifeβs emotions were so strange and complicated.
βI can feel that after you kill me, you will leave.β
Leaving very far away.
Su Xin didnβt know how to express her complicated feelings at this moment; in fact, Yan Xingyu was quite innocent, wasnβt she? She was a very kind and pitiful vampire.
It was just unfortunate to have raised a white-eyed wolf like Lin Qiaoqiao.
βI can only say that this is something I must do.β
βAre you a hunter?β
βNo.β
βDo you hate me?β
βNo.β
βDo you like me?β
βI think so.β
βThen thatβs good.β
The vampire breathed a sigh of relief and revealed a cheerful smile.
βYou cannot accompany me to the end of life, so when you leave, I am willing to die at your hands; this is our agreement, okay?β
Su Xin looked deeply at Yan Xingyu; it was her who didnβt understand this vampire.
