I won’t make fun of you.

Hua Zhuoyu strongly agreed with Ning Buyi’s words. This was also her first time seeing insectoids who injured themselves so severely.

She had encountered insectoid warriors many times before, not just because she was a human from space, but more because of the insectoids’ interference in star court affairs. There were always some creatures in the galaxy who risked their lives for resources on abandoned planets, disregarding their own safety. To obstruct planetary judgments, they were even bold enough to assassinate judges, and over a long period of time, they actually succeeded a few times.

Jack Ray and Benjamin lost their fighting ability under the enemy’s foot spears, directly becoming weak “bee forms”, which Hua Zhuoyu casually collected. Monasha, who was flying in mid-air, woke up from her shock, followed by a string of curses at her unlucky, stupid subordinates. Her mouthparts wriggled, and a strange light refracted in her protruding green eyeballs. Just as she was about to attack, a huge noise came from behind. The ship that had survived the annihilation cannon due to energy depletion was now crumbling in the aftermath of the battle. Debris shot in all directions, and a sharp piece of metal hit Monasha’s wing, knocking her out of the sky.

Her misfortune was no less than that of her subordinates, and her injury was even more ridiculous. At least Jack Ray and Benjamin had hurt each other, while she had pierced her own hard shell from her abdomen.

“It seems the insectoids are not favored by the Supreme. Well, these annoying, shameless, ugly little insects, if I were the Supreme, I wouldn’t like them either,” Hua Zhuoyu raised an eyebrow, grabbed Monasha who had turned into a little bee, and said coolly.

Ning Buyi glanced at Hua Zhuoyu, thinking, she’s not the Supreme.

If planetary will represents planets, then the Supreme mentioned by space people symbolizes the will of the universe, a higher level of power. Judges walking between star systems are the spokespersons of the Supreme.

“Too bad there are only four,” Hua Zhuoyu now started to complain about the small number of insectoids. She turned to Ning Buyi and said, “I see you’ve planted half an acre of flower seeds, is that enough?”

“Even in bee form, space insectoids are different from the bees and butterflies recorded in history, right?” Ning Buyi asked in return. She did want hundreds or thousands of little bees, but was that possible? If they were normal bees, they could wait for them to reproduce on their own, but these were space insectoids.

Hua Zhuoyu pondered for a while: “Then let’s exploit them to the fullest.” She had no sympathy for the insectoids. These guys were destroyers of space and should be left to atone for their crimes for the cause of barren stars.

On the way back, Hua Zhuoyu slowed down, showing off by inputting commands while turning to Ning Buyi to inquire about the flower field. At first, Hua Zhuoyu thought it was fruits and vegetables, not paying much attention, but when a tender shoot emerged from the ground, she realized something was off. Upon asking, she learned it was flower seeds, and now her interest had completely shifted from fruits and vegetables to flower seeds. It’s worth noting that in the current interstellar era, real flowers are rarely seen. Synthetic fake flowers release artificial and pretentious fragrances, far less refreshing and eye-opening than natural ones.

“Will it be like what’s recorded in ancient texts? How does it smell? Is it fragrant?”

Ning Buyi asked in return: “Lavender is also called spirit fragrant herb, what do you think?”

Hua Zhuoyu made an “Oh” sound, then said: “I heard in the past, people used lavender to extract perfume.” The daily necessities in the interstellar era are diverse, much more abundant than before, and people have gradually gotten used to a life surrounded by synthetic products. Hua Zhuoyu occasionally comes into contact with fresh plants at the experimental base, so she has always felt a sense of rejection towards those imitations.

Ning Buyi: “…” When talking about flowers, she thought of sweet honey, while Hua Zhuoyu thought of perfume, is this the difference between a foodie and a fashionista? But this gave her an idea, if there were fields of flowers in the base, not using them to make money would be a waste of those plants. But given the current poor state of the base, thinking too much is useless. “Manpower, resources, and finances, which do you think we have?”

Hua Zhuoyu frowned, and after a while said: “I’ll think of a way.”

Ning Buyi smiled sarcastically: “Are you planning to use your power for personal gain?”

Whenever Hua Zhuoyu heard the word “you” (formal), she knew Ning Buyi was being sarcastic. She smiled faintly and said: “It’s for the development of the interstellar era.”

Ning Buyi clicked her tongue, not believing Hua Zhuoyu’s words, after all, not long ago she had threatened her, saying that the barren star didn’t have much time left.

After returning to the base, Hua Zhuoyu released Monasha, Jack Ray, and Benjamin. Although they entered a weakened state, their consciousness gradually became clearer. They rolled their eyes and let out a series of sharp and piercing curses.

“Little bees can’t say dirty words.” Hua Zhuoyu smiled and threw three bees into an hourglass bottle, then tossed in a pill. Maybe if they saw the benefits of the base, they’d want to stay, but these bugs were very cold-blooded, so directly brainwashing them was more appropriate.

Just as the three little bees passed out in the hourglass bottle, on the distant Insect Star, a blonde, green-eyed girl woke up from a soft, fancy bed. Her face was as pale as paper, her lips red as blood, and her eyes glowed with an icy, eerie light.

“Your Majesty, why are you awake?” The pretty maid serving the girl asked with concern.

Krista ignored the maid. She stepped barefoot on the ground and walked along the dark hallway until she reached a wall. Her right eye turned a weird blood-red color, and the wall slowly dissolved under her gaze. When she walked through, it returned to normal.

The soft, fancy robe trailed on the ground as Krista walked along the red carpet. The hall was quiet. In the darkness, a young, pretty woman sat on a thorny throne, supporting her chin with one hand, eyes closed as if resting. But this quiet didn’t last long. With a snap, daylight-like brightness filled the entire hall, startling the resting person awake.

“What are you doing here?” The woman on the thorny throne asked in a gentle voice.

Krista didn’t dare approach the throne, stopping twenty steps away from the woman. She put on a wronged expression: “Sister, my mental connection with Monasha was cut off.”

Hill raised her eyes and glanced at Krista, still looking gentle: “And then? Do you suspect I did it?”

Krista said: “Only you have such power, don’t you?”

Hill laughed: “Why not suspect Da Xia?”

Krista said bluntly: “I sent Monasha to the Barren Star, where there are no longer any Da Xia warriors stationed.”

Hill: “That kind of place… are you sending Monasha to her death?”

Krista tilted her head and smiled sweetly: “Is that not allowed? She’s your trusted follower. If she betrays you, she’ll betray me too, right?”

Hearing Krista’s words, Hill’s eyes, which were as calm as an ancient well, finally showed a ripple of emotion. She spoke again, her voice filled with chilling malice: “How many people are like Monasha? My foolish sister, after you sit on the throne, will you be able to sleep peacefully?”

At this moment, Monasha was unaware of the storm she had caused on the Insect Star.

After cutting off her mental connection with the Insect Queen, she believed she was a species that grew up on the Barren Star, and her duty was to guard that lavender field. Without even waiting for Ning Buyi’s orders, she very proactively burrowed into the flower field, and even aggressively marked off an area, forbidding the other three little bees from entering.

The seeds produced by the Mountain Sea Atlas were very special, and under the nourishment of nutrients, they grew rapidly. The flower buds bloomed, layer upon layer, like a purple sea of stars.

Ning Buyi wasn’t surprised by the lavender field, but Little Feng Jiu and the little bees were like they had returned to their happy old home.

She looked at Hua Zhuoyu, who was trying to control herself, and teased: “You can go roll around in it too, I won’t laugh at you.”

    Hua Zhuoyu: “…”
