One Night
The places where she kissed were scorching hot, not only lingering with the warmth of her lips but also with Ye Youqing’s own, constantly burning that kiss mark. How could Ye Youqing still endure it? She pulled out her hairpin with one hand, letting her long hair cascade like water, while the other hand touched her neck, straightening her body.
The eye contact caused both of their faces to flush with a few shades of red, especially Ci Ke. She had just laid bare her own desires, clearly displaying them before Ye Youqing, and now found it difficult to bear the embarrassment.
Such an expression in Ye Youqing’s eyes was indescribably adorable. Ye Youqing couldn’t help but lean forward, covering those most crimson lips, gently caressing and sucking, a cool and sweet taste lingering on the tip of her tongue.
Ci Ke also responded with difficulty, shy but trying to be honest. Her hesitant posture only made one’s heart itch.
Ye Youqing gradually increased the pressure of her kiss. Her body leaned slightly forward, and in no time, Ci Ke could not bear it and leaned back to lie down. Their black hair intertwined and spread out on the bed.
Ye Youqing reached out to support herself, slowing her movements. Ci Ke’s breathing became erratic, her neck slightly raised, presenting like a swan before Ye Youqing. Ye Youqing’s phoenix eyes sparkled, suddenly leaving her lips and kissing her throat.
A low moan sounded. Ci Ke did not expect other places to be touched. For a moment, her whole body bristled, then she hurriedly closed her mouth, looking at Ye Youqing with moist eyes, reaching out to push her away.
But that strength was even weaker than a spring breeze, not knowing whether it was due to the kisses softening her strength, or if she did not intend to use force at all.
“Holding it in is never good,” Ye Youqing raised her head from her smooth neck, smiling gently.
Ci Ke looked at her reproachfully, then raised her eyes to look at the door illuminated by the morning light: “What if someone hears us?”
“There’s no one around here, don’t you believe me?” Ye Youqing said while kissing her jaw with delicate and dense kisses, causing the woman to shiver again.
Ye Youqing kissed her throat again, unsurprisingly hearing that pleasant voice, which made her heart surge.
“Ye Youqing…” Ci Ke’s voice became even hoarser, yet no less gentle. Her slender and fair fingers slowly moved up Ye Youqing’s arm, touching her neckline. Somehow, Ye Youqing’s sash came undone.
Ye Youqing quickly grabbed Ci Ke’s wrist, her heart pounding like a drum.
Ci Ke took a few breaths while being held by her wrist, then said in a fragmented voice: “If you don’t want to, then forget it.”
With that, she let go of her strength and lay down, her shoulders, set off by the red splendid dress, looking lively and captivating. The red dots at the corner of her eyes had been blurred by tears at some point, appearing alluring and striking.
Ye Youqing shook her head, her fingers slightly tugged, and the outer garment slid down the side of the bed, falling to the ground.
“How could I not want to?” Ye Youqing said, extending her long arms to reach her back and lifting her up a bit.
Ye Youqing’s shoulder still bore the old sword wound, and there were also scars from being cut in Weizhou. Although she had used scar-removal medicine, they still appeared faint white in the dim light of dawn.
The woman’s figure was not as voluptuous as Ci Ke’s, but was slender and pleasing to the eye. Seeing her like this made Ci Ke’s ears blush deeply. She lifted her head with effort, her fingertips caressing those scars.
Ever since Ye Youqing approached her, she miraculously hasn’t been injured again, as if, unknowingly, Ye Youqing had protected her very well.
Ci Ke couldn’t help but think again, if she had never met Ye Youqing, what would her situation be like now? Perhaps she would have already died while dealing with Qin Wang, like an ant trying to shake a tree, not worth mentioning in this story.

A scheming, despised, malicious woman.
Seeing Ci Ke’s gaze gradually become vacant, Ye Youqing was dissatisfied with her distraction, so she moved her hand slightly, causing the water-like silk to fall, making Ci Ke shiver, her thoughts pulled back by the cold wind faintly seeping through the door crack.
Her beautiful eyes slightly widened. Even though she was proactive, she was still inexperienced. She hurriedly pulled up the bedding to cover herself, but Ye Youqing grabbed her hands, pinning them behind her back.
“What are you thinking about?” Ye Youqing’s voice was tinged with something, making it much more seductive. She was far more open than Ci Ke.
“Nothing…” Ci Ke murmured, avoiding Ye Youqing’s gaze, not daring to move.
“You wouldn’t be thinking of another girl while kissing me, would you?” Ye Youqing raised her long eyebrows slightly, showing a somewhat aggrieved expression.
Ci Ke quickly shook her head.
Ye Youqing reached out and pulled down the bed curtains, blocking the cold wind seeping through the door crack. Suddenly, the surroundings were left with only the heat, and the continuous flow of warmth rushing to the top of their heads. She watched as Ci Ke slowly pulled up the outer garment from the bed, and couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
“How do I remember that back in Jinlingzhai, you changed clothes in front of me more calmly than I did, so why are you covering up now?” Ye Youqing snatched her outer garment and mischievously threw it aside.
Ci Ke looked at her reproachfully, her red lips moving, and finally spoke, “Easy for you to say, how can that time compare to now?”
“What is the difference?” Ye Youqing deliberately held her hands without moving, only watching her face turn red from the cheeks.
“Of course it’s different.” Ci Ke turned her head towards the wall, leaving her ear for Ye Youqing, “Besides, it’s easy to act calm.”
Ye Youqing almost laughed out loud. She lowered her head and gently tapped her nose with her own, saying, “Can you still act now?”
“Why not.” Although Ci Ke’s face remained the same, her body was no longer stiff. Suddenly, her hands covered Ye Youqing’s shoulders, pushing her backward.
The bed was a bit small, and Ye Youqing’s head almost hit the bedpost. Fortunately, she quickly tilted her head to one side, saving her life, helplessly being pinned down by Ci Ke.
Ci Ke’s lips touched the corner of her mouth, slowly moving towards her lips, the surrounding temperature seemed to get hotter, and the fluttering in Ye Youqing’s heart grew stronger.
A sweet fragrance enveloped her entire body, Ye Youqing raised her hand, gently and slowly stroking Ci Ke’s long hair. Ci Ke suddenly shivered.
Ci Ke wanted to struggle again, but Ye Youqing had already intertwined their fingers, simultaneously kissing her deeply. Ci Ke’s breathing became more rapid, her hands tightly gripping Ye Youqing’s palms. When she was almost suffocating, she made a broken whimper.
Ci Ke’s five fingers slipped from her palm, tangling with the bedding underneath, making the silk crumpled and wrinkled.
Ye Youqing’s heart softened upon hearing her voice, and only then did she let go of her lips, which had already tasted of blood. Watching Ci Ke slowly catch her breath, she reached out to wipe away the tear stains at the corner of her eye, feeling a bit amused and exasperated.
Ci Ke turned her face to the side, burying it in the bedding, her exposed neck soft and slightly trembling.
“I haven’t done anything yet, why are you crying?” Ye Youqing pulled the bedding open, revealing her face, and gently kissed it.

“Where am I crying? Don’t falsely accuse me.” Ci Ke said, reaching out to touch her cheek, then froze for a moment, quickly wiping away the tears.
Ye Youqing buried her face in Ci Ke’s shoulder, hiding her laughter.
“You’re getting hotter.” Ye Youqing noticed the unusual temperature, reached out to pull the bedding over her, and then rubbed her forehead with her face, sighing, “Look, you’ve caught a cold.”
Ci Ke was about to deny it, but then she sneezed.
Looking up, Ye Youqing was raising an eyebrow at her, making Ci Ke feel a wave of embarrassment.
“You felt it earlier, didn’t you? Why didn’t you take the medicine first, and insisted on being stubborn.” Ye Youqing blamed her with her words, lifting her leg to get out of bed, but Ci Ke stopped her.
“I just took the medicine; I will be better by tomorrow.” After what had just happened, Ci Ke’s voice seemed even softer. She now looked up, as if her eyes were full of nothing but Ye Youqing.
Ye Youqing felt comfortable under her gaze, so she snuggled into the bedding with her, embracing her soft and smooth body in her arms.
Her beloved woman was right by her side. Naturally, she wished to consummate their marriage tonight, just as Ci Ke wished. But Ci Ke had just been cold for a day and now was starting to heat up again, so she could only force herself to close her eyes and let the desire in her heart slowly cool down.
Ci Ke was hardly covered by anything, and being held by Ye Youqing this way, her body couldn’t help but stiffen. Fortunately, Ye Youqing didn’t move around anymore, so she tried her best to forget the discomfort, licking her lips that had just been bitten.
“If only I didn’t have this cold. It just had to happen at this crucial moment…” Ci Ke murmured softly.
“Isn’t it because you didn’t listen?” Ye Youqing said.
“I noticed it in the snow. Even a few doses of herbal medicine couldn’t stop the cold, so it’s better to…”
“So it’s better to eagerly claim me as your own first?” Ye Youqing finished her sentence for her.
Ci Ke’s eyes rolled, her red lips slightly curved, silently agreeing with her words.
“Does your head hurt?” Ye Youqing stretched out her long arm, touching her forehead and feeling some fine sweat. Ci Ke shrank her body and nodded.
“No matter what, you mustn’t harm your body. Don’t worry, we have a long future ahead.” Ye Youqing sighed and suddenly felt something. She quickly got out of bed and wrapped Ci Ke in the bedding, then put on her outer garment and embraced her again.
“Aren’t you cold?” Ci Ke furrowed her delicate brows.
“It’s cold, but it’s much better this way.” Ye Youqing gestured downward with her eyes, and the color that had just returned to Ci Ke’s face blushed again.
Fortunately, she was still lying in Ye Youqing’s arms. Although she couldn’t feel her body, through the bedding, she could still hear her heart beating, calm and steady.
“Are you feeling more at ease now?” Ye Youqing asked.
Ci Ke, with her back to Ye Youqing, smiled and nodded. The earlier waves of emotion and discomfort had faded away. Looking back at her actions, she felt only a mixture of embarrassment and contentment. She had to admit, she loved the feeling of being controlled by Ye Youqing.
It was as if she truly belonged to her.

As the drowsiness brought on by the cold slowly swept through her mind, mixed with the fatigue of kneeling for most of the day, the sky just happened to darken. The wind and snow stopped, creating a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. Ci Ke’s consciousness began to blur.
“When you asked me what I was thinking earlier, I was just thinking about the past, about how things would be if I had never met you.” Ci Ke spoke slowly.
Ye Youqing responded with a soft “hmm.”
“If it weren’t for you, I might have died long ago,” Ci Ke said. “In the past, you didn’t treat me well, but now it seems like it was a very long time ago.”
Ye Youqing’s arms, which were embracing her, stiffened for a moment. Her phoenix eyes were clear, gazing at her distinctly black hair. Her voice was somewhat hoarse.
“The way I treated you badly in the past, have you also forgotten?” Ye Youqing said seemingly unintentionally. “Then your liking, did it start from the past?”
Ci Ke, her consciousness blurred: “I don’t know, I just like you.”
Ye Youqing’s gaze deepened, a momentary chill slipping through her heart, as if the knot that she had intentionally ignored before had resurfaced, breaking through the cover.
Ci Ke had already fallen asleep, as could be seen from the steady rise and fall of her body. Ye Youqing, however, remained motionless, lost in thought, until daylight turned into night, and the room became pitch black.
