After Transmigrating into the Villain’s Cat, I Dominated the Entertainment Circle – Chapter 7

What are you doing?!

So scary

Luo Ke had a simple breakfast, then carried Lin Sifei to work.

When they arrived at the company, the employees all showed expressions of terror upon seeing the cast on Lin Sifei’s paw.

Luo Ke greeted them as usual and walked into her office. Zhao Min came in, reported the day’s schedule to her, and handed over a batch of documents.

Lin Sifei watched her work, one bored cat pawing at the fortune grass1 in front of her.

Luo Ke looked up at the potted plant that was about to be plucked bald and pushed her paw aside.

Lin Sifei already knew her intentions, so how could she still be afraid of her? She immediately opened her mouth and let out a meow, as fierce as could be.

Luo Ke helplessly flicked her on the forehead. “Don’t go too far.”

Lin Sifei grabbed her hand and gnawed on it. That’s for flicking me!

After messing around for a while, Lin Sifei was tired and collapsed on the desk. Seeing this, Luo Ke went back to handling her documents. Lin Sifei, bored, sidled up to the computer and looked at the files on the screen.

Luo Ke pushed her head away. Lin Sifei dodged and continued to inch closer.

Luo Ke sighed helplessly and took a tablet out of a drawer. “Watch this.”

She searched for Tom and Jerry, propped it up on its stand, and placed it in front of Lin Sifei.

Lin Sifei rolled her eyes, carefully poked at the tablet, adjusted it to an angle Luo Ke couldn’t see, exited Tom and Jerry, and typed the female protagonist’s Weibo2 account into the browser.

She remembered that later in the novel, when the female protagonist debuted, this account was mentioned repeatedly. This was because the private account had a lot of positive energy3 content, daily life posts, and the like, and it had a good number of fans. The entertainment company took the opportunity to use it for marketing, and the novel said the marketing effect was quite good, attracting a lot of fans.

Lin Sifei entered the account name, and sure enough, it came up. She immediately went to the homepage. The last update was the female protagonist gloomily saying she had caused a lot of trouble at the company, and the comments were all consoling her.

Lin Sifei browsed through it briefly and saw a selfie from when she had just started the job.

Lin Sifei rested her head on her casted paw. It seemed the female protagonist was already disliked at the company; the major mistake later on must have been the final straw.

Looking at the posts on the account, if she hadn’t met the female protagonist, Lin Sifei might have genuinely and kindly thought she was a dazed, cute, and slightly clumsy woman. But after being kicked last time, she had already seen the female protagonist’s true colors. This female protagonist was probably a white lotus4.

Lin Sifei clicked her tongue. Looking at the female protagonist’s posts, her own ‘white lotus cat’ ranking was really not high enough.

After closing the webpage, Lin Sifei didn’t forget to clear the history. She didn’t know how long it would be until the contract negotiation with the partner company, and she needed to know the approximate time to plan properly.

Lin Sifei eyed the working Luo Ke, carefully crouched down, raised her butt, and pounced over with a thump. Her eyes stared at the screen. There was a pile of emails, but a company they weren’t yet partnered with probably wouldn’t be sending emails now.

Luo Ke picked her up and moved her away. “Don’t be naughty, be good.”

Lin Sifei glared at her. “Meow!” I’m saving you, hmph!

She was moved back to the side. She leaned forward to look at the emails on the computer while trying to recall the name of the partner company from the book. She remembered it was a foreign company. Bai? Bai-something?

“President Luo, there’s a call from the Bai’erluo Company.” Xiao Zhao pushed the door open.

Lin Sifei slammed a paw on the desk. That’s right, it’s Bai’erluo!

Xiao Zhao stared in shock at the cat on the desk that had suddenly slammed the table and was now baring its teeth. “P-President Luo?”

Luo Ke sighed helplessly and petted Lin Sifei’s head. “Be good.”

“Patch the call through.” She looked up at Zhao Min.

Zhao Min nodded, backed out, and closed the door.

Luo Ke picked up the call. Seeing the little thing next to her staring with wide, expectant eyes, she sighed helplessly and pressed the speakerphone button.

Fluent English flowed from her mouth. Lin Sifei listened with a tilted head. She couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief; thankfully, in order to break into the international market back then, her agent had arranged many tutors for her, forcing her to improve her English.

She roughly understood Bai’erluo’s meaning. To sum it up, they exchanged some pleasantries, and Bai’erluo expressed their hope to discuss the partnership as soon as possible, as they were in a hurry to finalize a partner.

Luo Ke naturally agreed. As soon as she hung up, she had Zhao Min contact the relevant departments for a meeting.

Lin Sifei quickly stretched out her good right paw and hooked it around Luo Ke’s watch. “Meow, meow, meow.”

Seeing her insistence on coming along, Luo Ke had no choice but to carry her. “No random meowing.”

Lin Sifei rolled her eyes. Talking to a cat, isn’t she a fool?

In fact, Zhao Min and Special Assistant Lin, who were following behind, were thinking the same thing. What to do? President Luo seemed to be deeply immersed in sucking cats5 and unable to pull herself out.

When they reached the conference room, Luo Ke placed the cat on a chair and waited for the others to arrive.

“President Luo, the department hopes that the main team in charge can join the meeting as well.”

“Alright. We can hear their opinions as well.”

Lin Sifei lay on the chair, squinting at the people coming in. Sure enough, she saw the female protagonist with her high ponytail, looking energetic and very clever.

The female protagonist walked over and sat down. Lin Sifei, lying on the chair, could no longer see her, so she quickly lifted her front paws and clung to the edge of the table to look.

A cute little cat head peeked out, looking around. Everyone in the conference room was drawn by the sight, their eyes all wide.

Lin Sifei proudly lifted her chin. Being familiar with the plot, she knew what they were shocked about. Luo Ke’s previous persona was that of a great demon king; suddenly bringing a meng meng da6 kitten was too great of a contrast.

Luo Ke remained stone-faced, sat down in her chair, and placed Lin Sifei back on her lap. “Let’s begin.”

The people in the conference room finally snapped back to reality and stood up to begin their reports.

Lin Sifei pricked up her ears, listening extremely carefully. This was all rare information, equivalent to knowing the female protagonist’s movements.

Soon, it was the female protagonist’s team’s turn to report on their progress and future plans. Luo Ke listened while doodling and making corrections on a piece of paper. Only after hearing their entire plan did she speak up to correct a few points and offer some suggestions.

“There is one issue at present. The Bai’erluo Company hopes to discuss the partnership as soon as possible, so your timeline has been significantly shortened. What is the fastest you can compress it to?”

“As long as the money is in place, speed isn’t a problem!” a man said with a grin.

The man in the suit sitting next to him jabbed an elbow into his chest and shot him a glare. He then looked at Luo Ke with a smile. “President Luo, that’s not what he meant…”

“No problem.” Luo Ke closed her folder. “This rush job will definitely require overtime. Overtime pay will be doubled. If we land this contract in the end, everyone will also receive an additional bonus. Of course, everyone who participates in this project will get a bonus.”

At the mention of money, the team members immediately became much more enthusiastic.

“Of course, I want speed, but I also want quality.” Luo Ke interrupted their excitement. “In three days, I want to see the complete project proposal on my desk. If it doesn’t pass, you’ll be working overtime until it does.”

“Three days, we should be able to make it.” The man in the suit seemed to be the team leader, as he was the one making the decisions.

Luo Ke nodded in satisfaction. Just as she was about to announce the end of the meeting, someone suddenly raised their hand.

Lin Sifei’s ears immediately perked up. Here it comes, here it comes, the female protagonist is about to show her charm.

“President Luo, everyone has been working very hard on this proposal, but our team still has some talent gaps. Many people are shouldering an excessive workload while others have relatively light work. This makes it difficult to improve efficiency. Furthermore, the lack of communication among the design staff has also caused many problems.”

Luo Ke looked at her indignant expression and nodded slightly. She looked just like a kid who had just entered the workforce.

“You should be reporting this kind of problem to your team leader. What I need to see are your speed and quality. How to make adjustments during the process and the specific planning are your team leader’s job.” President Luo then looked at the man in the suit. “I imagine that as planners, you also don’t want me, the President, to be pointing hands and drawing feet7 too much.”

The man in the suit nodded. “Thank you for your understanding, President. I will do a better job of planning the workload among the employees and mediating cooperation issues.”

“I trust you. Meeting adjourned.”

Lin Sifei jumped off her lap, ran quickly to Yan Yafei’s feet, leaped up, and landed on the top of her foot before quickly fleeing. She was limping, but it didn’t affect her speed in the slightest.

“Ah!” Yan Yafei was startled and couldn’t help but lift her foot. The top of her foot was throbbing with a bit of pain.

After stomping on the person to vent her anger, Lin Sifei scurried back to Luo Ke’s side and pawed at her pant leg.

Luo Ke bent down to pick her up, petted her, and then looked up at Yan Yafei, her brow slightly furrowed.

The smile on Yan Yafei’s face was a bit stiff. She nodded and quickly walked out of the conference room.

Luo Ke tapped Lin Sifei’s head with her finger. “Did she offend you? You specifically ran over to step on her.”

Lin Sifei continued to play dumb, tilting her head to look at her.

Luo Ke narrowed her eyes, the pressure of her fingers rubbing the cat’s head increasing slightly. Keep pretending, then.

She carried Lin Sifei back to the office. Instead of handling more documents, she openly picked up her phone and started scrolling, looking up at the cat from time to time.

Luo Ke’s gaze made Lin Sifei’s fur stand on end. She reached out to paw at her hand, wanting to see what she was looking at.

Luo Ke raised her hand. “Not for you to see.”

“Meow!” Lin Sifei waved her casted paw, trying to make her feel guilty.

Luo Ke pinched her little paw. “Want to change to a colorful cast? I can find an artist to paint on it for you. Want little dried fish8 painted on it?”

An image of a little dried fish flower arm9 involuntarily appeared in Lin Sifei’s mind, and she shuddered. Too embarrassing. No way.

She yawned, awkwardly retracted her paw, and flipped over onto her back, lying on the desk.

Luo Ke let out a laugh and continued scrolling on her phone.

Lin Sifei lay on the desk, frowning as she stared at Luo Ke, hoping to discern her thoughts.

Luo Ke moved her phone aside and looked at her.

Lin Sifei immediately put her paws up, looking as cute as she possibly could.

Luo Ke reached out and held her down, her palm stroking across her belly.

Lin Sifei’s body trembled, and she tucked her tail between her legs. Wait, what is she doing? Where is she touching?

Luo Ke’s palm stroked over her bit by bit. Lin Sifei started to “meow,” twisting her body to try and escape.

Luo Ke gave her a couple more strokes, her fingers slowly sliding down from under her neck. Lin Sifei’s throat moved; she swallowed.

Her fingertips continued to slide down, passing over her belly. Lin Sifei’s legs couldn’t help but tremble. She’s a cat! On her belly are two rows of… of those things! Shameless!

Luo Ke stroked all the way to the tip of her tail before finally retracting her hand, releasing the cat that had gone as soft as a puddle of water.

The moment she was let go, Lin Sifei’s brain was finally cooled by the desk, and she came to her senses.

She immediately turned around, pushed off the desk with her legs, jumped down, and climbed onto the sofa to sit.

She had to get away from this pervert Luo Ke. She was too scary.
