After Transmigrating into the Villain’s Cat, I Dominated the Entertainment Circle – Chapter 6

I am a Flerken!

Yes, everything you said is right.

Lin Sifei kept glancing at Luo Ke on the way, comforting herself that no normal person would suspect a cat of not being a cat; they would definitely think it was a coincidence.

This confidence thoroughly vanished like smoke and scattered like clouds1 when she was tossed onto the sofa.

Luo Ke stared at her intently. “You’re not a cat, are you? A yaoguai?2 How about you turn into a person and show yourself? You were the one talking in my dream, right? If you’re going to curse someone, do it face-to-face. No need to be so fearing hands and fearing feet3.”

Lin Sifei looked at her with wide eyes, selling cuteness4 by tilting her head. What are you saying? I don’t understand.

Luo Ke raised a hand to her lips and took a deep breath. “Stop pretending.”

“Um… that… Miss Luo.”

Luo Ke whipped her head around to see Wu Ma looking at her in shock. “Miss Luo, are you alright?”

Luo Ke clenched her fists tightly, closed her eyes for a moment, and turned back. “I’m fine.”

Wu Ma said, “Oh,” and untied her apron. “The meal is ready, so I’ll be heading back now.”
When she reached the door, she turned back again. “You young people are all under a lot of pressure. Money is important, but your health is more important.”

“I know.” Luo Ke tapped her forehead with her hand.

After Wu Ma left, Luo Ke calmed down a bit. She leaned in close to Lin Sifei. “Are you a cat?”

Lin Sifei played dumb to the end. “Meow~”

Luo Ke hung her head in resignation and walked towards the dining room. She brought the goat’s milk to her and sat down at the dining table to eat by herself.

Lin Sifei peeked her head out at her and breathed a sigh of relief before retreating to drink the goat’s milk. It wasn’t that she hadn’t considered just confessing to Luo Ke, but given her state just now, she was in no condition to accept it.

She licked the corner of her mouth. How could Luo Ke suspect her? A normal person really wouldn’t suspect something like this.

She couldn’t actually be sick, could she? Lin Sifei’s face scrunched up as she snuck a glance at her. The attitude the villain later displayed in the book was quite world-weary.

She sighed. The priority now was to dispel her suspicions.

After finishing her milk, Lin Sifei pushed out the ball of yarn again, ran to Luo Ke’s feet, and meowed at her.

The tip of Luo Ke’s foot moved, happening to kick the ball of yarn. Lin Sifei immediately started hopping and skipping to chase the yarn ball. After chasing it for a while, she pounced at the empty air beside her and dove under a chair.

Luo Ke watched her movements; they were indeed no different from an ordinary cat’s. Could it be that she was really overthinking things?

She pressed her brow and got up to go upstairs.

Lin Sifei, however, deeply understood the importance of latching onto a powerful patron. She climbed the stairs with difficulty and made her way to the study, vowing to be a sensible, well-behaved, and silently accompanying white lotus cat.5

Luo Ke sat at her desk, her fingers tapping on the keyboard.

Lin Sifei grabbed the leg of the chair and tried her best to climb up. Unfortunately, for every one step she climbed, she slid down three. After exhausting herself for a good while, her hind legs still hadn’t left the floor.

A sigh was heard. Luo Ke grabbed her by the stomach and placed her on the chair.

Lin Sifei obediently curled up on the chair, forming a ball with her head resting on her hind legs, and watched her work.

Luo Ke didn’t spare her another glance after that, focusing on her work.

Lin Sifei licked her lips. A serious woman was truly beautiful.

Kittens always need a lot of sleep. Lin Sifei had barely slept during the day and was now incredibly drowsy. She had only been lying there for a short while before her head started to nod.

Her upper and lower eyelids were fighting6, and finally, the sleep bug completely defeated her. She flopped over on the chair, fast asleep.

After dealing with the last email, Luo Ke tilted her head back to stretch her neck. Her eyes fell on the sleeping kitten beside her, and she watched it quietly for a while.

Suspecting a cat of being a yaoguai—the idea was utterly absurd, and she thought so too. But for some reason, watching the little one’s every move, she just felt that it could truly understand human speech. Especially the voice in her dream. She had checked the room for hidden cameras, and no strange people had appeared around the house.

She pinched the bridge of her nose and stood up. Perhaps she had just been too tired lately; by day there is thinking, by night there are dreams.7

She stood up and bent over to pick up the soundly sleeping cat from the chair.

The little one rolled over in her palm and stretched lazily.

Lin Sifei opened her eyes and saw a thump-thumping chest and a face with makeup on. Still groggy from sleep, she had forgotten she had turned into a cat. Seeing the giant person, she was so scared that she let out a “meow,” all the fur on her body stood on end, and with a twist of her body, she fell to the floor with a thud.

Lin Sifei felt a sharp pain in her front leg and cried out, “Aow!”

Startled, Luo Ke knelt on the floor, wanting to touch her but not daring to.

Lin Sifei held one of her paws with the other. It hurt!

Luo Ke dialed the hospital’s number, and in the middle of the night, they went to get the injury looked at on a pet stretcher.

Lin Sifei looked at the cast on her leg and waved it.

“Meow-aow~” She lunged at Luo Ke. It was all her fault, all her fault! If she hadn’t scared her, how could she have fallen and fractured her leg?

Luo Ke, exhausted from the day, endured the tapping of her paw and placed her by the pillow. “Go to sleep.”

“Meow!” Lin Sifei continued to curse furiously.

After such a long day, Luo Ke was truly tired. Ignoring her cries, she closed her eyes and went to sleep.

Seeing that she was being ignored, Lin Sifei pounced and gave her a light bite on the tip of her nose before curling up by the pillow and falling asleep.

In her slumber, Luo Ke once again fell into a dreamscape. She was lying in a white mist, and the voice that had cursed her in the dream appeared again, this time also to scold her.

“You can’t even hold a cat without dropping it on the floor, can’t you be more careful?”

“Do you know how much a fracture hurts? Believe it or not, I’ll fracture your hand too!”

“Not gentle at all. It’s so miserable being your cat.”

Luo Ke’s blue veins jumped straight8. “How was I supposed to know she would fall? And what a coincidence to get a fracture from it. I was bent over, it wasn’t high off the ground at all.”

“You’re actually yelling at me! I have a fracture!”

Luo Ke’s pupils shrank. She looked behind her. The white mist dissipated a little, revealing a tall bedside table where the little one was perched, waving its casted paw and howling its accusations.

“Don’t you feel bad for me? I’m your cat!”

Luo Ke’s heart suddenly thumped twice. Her cat—

She strode towards her, the fact that a cat could speak seeming like no big deal anymore.

Lin Sifei panicked, limping backward. “What are you doing! What are you doing! Don’t hit people—no, don’t hit a cat’s face!”

Luo Ke raised her hand, and Lin Sifei grew even more flustered, on the verge of crying from the injustice. “Can’t you not hit the cat? It’s not like I wanted to be a cat!”

Luo Ke raised her hand and lifted her injured paw. “Does it hurt a lot?”

Lin Sifei’s eyes were brimming with tears as she drew out her voice. “It huuurts—”

Luo Ke lowered her head and blew gently on her paw. “I’ll blow on it, and it won’t hurt anymore.”

She leaned down, her eyelashes casting a shadow on her face. Lin Sifei looked at her, her nose tingling, and tears couldn’t help but fall.

“Can’t you just take good care of me? I’ve been trying so hard to sell cute, trying so hard to be a cat.” She cried until her face was covered in tears, her fur soaked.

Luo Ke hurriedly helped her wipe her tears. “I’m trying my best to take care of you too.”

“Then you still scared me.”

“I didn’t scare you.”

Lin Sifei pouted. “You pointed at me and called me a yaoguai. You… were you planning to burn me to death or dissect me for research?”

Luo Ke shook her head helplessly. “What are you thinking? I just thought you seemed like a person.”

Lin Sifei’s eyes darted around. “I… I’m really not a person.”

“Then how can you speak?” Luo Ke scratched her under the chin.

“Actually, I’m a Flerken!9

“What’s that?” Luo Ke furrowed her brows in confusion.

Lin Sifei looked at her in surprise. Hasn’t this world fully developed the relevant content? She grinned, baring her teeth. “An alien species.”

Luo Ke felt she was lying, but looking at her damp fur, she just sighed and rubbed her head. “Alright, an alien cat.”

The white mist enveloped them again. Luo Ke opened her eyes; the sky outside was just beginning to lighten. She looked at the little one by her pillow. She was sleeping soundly, her little mouth opening and closing, letting out low whimpers.

She chuckled. Still cursing.

She soon fell back asleep.

The next morning, Lin Sifei opened her eyes, the strange dream from last night surfacing in her mind. Hahaha, Luo Ke actually believed she was a Flerken.

Just as she was laughing, Luo Ke walked out after finishing her shower. Her wet hair was draped over her shoulders, soaking the white gauze nightgown she wore and revealing a hint of pink.

Lin Sifei blinked, turned her head away like a lady, and smacked her lips.

Luo Ke picked up a dry towel and began drying her hair as she approached. “Is our alien cat awake?”

Lin Sifei’s eyes instantly widened, her little heart trembling. Wait, what’s going on? Wasn’t it a dream? How does Luo Ke know the content of my dream?

Seeing no reaction from her, Luo Ke reached out a finger and poked her forehead. “Why aren’t you talking?”

Lin Sifei swallowed. “Meow~”

Luo Ke frowned. “Why are you meowing again? Don’t you know how to talk?”

“Meow!” I really can’t talk, otherwise why would I be meowing?

“Are you cursing me again?!” Luo Ke narrowed her eyes and pinched the top of her head with two fingers.

Lin Sifei, who often complained internally, licked the corner of her mouth and let out a soft and weak “meow.”

Luo Ke frowned, looking at her appearance, and muttered to herself, “She really can’t talk. Could last night have really been a dream?”

She frowned in confusion and picked up the hairdryer from the drawer to dry her hair.

Hearing her words, Lin Sifei let out a long sigh of relief. It seemed she would have to be careful in her dreams from now on. Luo Ke and her dreams were connected. How magical.

Then she began to shake her head smugly. Last night, Luo Ke had revealed her feelings; she had clearly fallen for her cute appearance. From now on, she would be the real big BOSS behind the scenes.

She didn’t see that, as she sighed in relief, Luo Ke, standing in front of the drawer, lifted her eyes. The television screen in front of her reflected the cat behind her.

A sigh of relief? Looks like it wasn’t a dream. A Flerken? Interesting.
