Luo Ke gave a slight nod in greeting as she walked all the way to her office.

“Chicken legs… I’ll have Zhao Min order them.”
Lin Sifei meowed in satisfaction, yawned, and flopped onto the sofa. She had scratched Luo Ke so many times in her dream last night that she felt completely exhausted.

Lin Sifei’s abdomen rose and fell violently as she panted.
Luo Ke reached out a worried hand, only to be smacked away by Lin Sifei’s paw.
“Xiao Xiao?”
Lin Sifei grew even more agitated. She raised a paw and pressed it against Luo Ke’s forehead, baring her teeth and letting out a deep, rumbling growl from her throat.
Realizing she was losing control of her emotions, she pushed Luo Ke away, jumped off the coffee table, and trotted out of the room.
After wandering around for a bit, the irritation in Lin Sifei’s heart didn’t lessen. And strangely, she had a particularly strong desire to be close to people.
The beautiful and proud Great Beauty Lin5 would not allow herself to kneel and lick6 with so little dignity. She simply found a corner and coiled up7.
She hadn’t been coiled up for long when she heard the sound of high heels, the rhythm somewhat familiar.

“Meow~” Why were you looking for me.

Luo Ke sighed in resignation and called her driver to come drive them.
The whole way, Lin Sifei was immersed in the fragrance, but the irritation in her heart did not diminish.
When they got home, Luo Ke looked at the writhing Lin Sifei and grew even more worried. Maybe she should find a vet to take a look after all.

She hugged Luo Ke’s arm, using one paw to pull her little blanket over herself.
Once under the blanket, Lin Sifei relaxed a little. She opened her eyes to peek at Luo Ke, and again felt the urge to rub her butt.

Luo Ke spoke again. “I’ll go get you a can of cat food.”

Luo Ke patted her head and walked out.
Lin Sifei let out a tormented “meow,” biting her little blanket and whimpering twice.
The heat was rising. Lin Sifei took a breath, then suddenly felt a cool breeze on her body. She opened her eyes in a daze. The scenery before her was so familiar, it just seemed a lot smaller.
She blinked, then shot up into a sitting position. She saw her own straight, fair, long legs, and hands that belonged to a human.
“I transformed back?!”
