After Transmigrating into the Villain’s Cat, I Dominated the Entertainment Circle – Chapter 11

Offended to Death

Don’t be scared, don’t be scared

Lin Sifei was the type to hold a grudge. During the day, Luo Ke had let the bees bully her, so that night, she deliberately kicked Luo Ke with her leg, not letting her get a good night’s rest.

Finally, Luo Ke had no choice but to relent, pulling her into an embrace. “It was my fault. Stop messing around, okay?”

Lin Sifei huffed and reluctantly drew her leg back.

The next day at the company, Lin Sifei was still fuming. She refused to let Luo Ke hold her and marched into the elevator with a gait that doesn’t recognize her own kin1.

Luo Ke followed behind her, carrying her bag and looking to be in a very good mood.

Zhao Min was also in the elevator, her phone vibrating nonstop. She pulled it out to see everyone in the employee group chat howling.

【Is President Luo’s cat having a tiff with her? She’s so cute even when she’s angry.】

【But President Luo looks so happy】

【Maybe she forced a kiss on her cat master2. My master is like that too. I stole a kiss today and got three scratch marks on my face QAQ】

Reading this, Zhao Min couldn’t help but glance at Luo Ke’s face. Mmm, still as smooth as ever, no scratches.

She let out a breath, a little relieved and a little disappointed. She kind of wanted to see what President Luo would look like after being scratched by her cat, all helpless.

【Secretary Zhao: President Luo’s face is fine, nothing to see here. President Luo’s cat is quite gentle】

【Luo Ke: Less chatting, more working】

The group chat froze instantly. Zhao Min saw the message right below hers and her neck went stiff as she turned to the President beside her.

Luo Ke patted her on the shoulder. “How do you know if my cat is gentle or not?”

“Er——” Zhao Min’s brain spun at top speed. “President Luo’s cat is definitely the best, of course. Gentle, cute, and… very clingy with President Luo.”

Luo Ke stared at her, not looking away until beads of sweat formed on Zhao Min’s forehead. Only then did she turn back around.

Lin Sifei, who was standing right there, heard Zhao Min’s words and ground her teeth in frustration. Who was clingy with this cat-bullying jerk!

She shot out a paw and snagged Zhao Min’s stockings, instantly ripping several long runs in the fabric.

Zhao Min looked down at her ruined stockings, furious but not daring to say a word.

Just then, the elevator doors opened. Luo Ke glanced at her. “I’ll reimburse you. Go buy another pair.”

Ignoring Lin Sifei’s struggles, she forcefully scooped her up and walked out of the elevator.

Zhao Min happily held the door open. “President Luo, can I buy a more expensive pair?”

“Whatever you want.”

“Thank you, President Luo! President Luo’s cat really is super, super clingy with you.”

Hearing this, Luo Ke let out a soft laugh. Lin Sifei felt the vibration in her chest, struggled out of her arms to perch on her shoulder, and brandished her paws at Zhao Min.

No matter how many pairs of stockings you buy, I’ll make them all die without a place to be buried3!

However, Zhao Min didn’t get her meaning at all and just waved happily. “Bye-bye.”

Lin Sifei flopped back into Luo Ke’s arms in a huff. The moment they got to the office, she grabbed the tablet and started binge-watching Tom and Jerry.

Luo Ke paid her no mind, sitting beside her and looking over reports.

“Xiaoxiao.”

After a while, Lin Sifei heard her call, but she stubbornly kept her butt pointed at her.

Luo Ke was exasperated. “Xiaoxiao, are you still mad? Next time, I promise I’ll help you chase the bees away immediately.”

Lin Sifei snorted coldly and turned her head away.

“Xiaoxiao.”

Lin Sifei leaped off the sofa and shot out the door, her actions making her “refusal to communicate” crystal clear.

Helpless, Luo Ke could only shake her head and let her be.

Lin Sifei just wanted to make her understand that a cat master was hard to serve. But once she was actually out, she got bored.

There was no tablet to play with outside the office, and she’d been having fun scrolling through Weibo just now. Sigh.

With a sigh, she could only get up and wander around the company, treating it as exercise and a patrol of her territory.

As she passed by Yan Yafei’s former office, Lin Sifei subconsciously slowed her pace, her whole body leaning toward the door.

“Yan Yafei is so annoying. It’s not like I was the one who demoted her. Who is she putting on that long face for?”

“Alright, that’s enough. I heard from HR that they were originally going to fire her, but a board director stepped in to protect her.”

“So what if she has connections?”

“Connections are a big deal. Okay, okay, let’s just work hard. President Luo said we’re still going to have the celebration banquet…”

Lin Sifei watched them start chatting about the celebration banquet, then scurried over from the side. She looked at the office door, then back in the direction they had come from.

She lifted her chin and zipped off that way. The first time, someone had protected Yan Yafei. But if she kept making mistakes, they couldn’t protect her forever, right?

She ran over and, from a distance, saw Yan Yafei carrying a cardboard box out of the printing room. She took the box to the supply closet and tossed it inside.

She had just come back when a pile of documents was shoved at her. “Make three copies of this, ten of this one, and this… deliver them to the second room on the left upstairs in twenty minutes.”

Suddenly buried in documents, Yan Yafei angrily threw the folders into the printing room. A few of them broke on impact, but luckily the papers inside only poked out a little and didn’t scatter.

Yan Yafei stared at them for a moment, then helplessly crouched down and began to pick up the folders and organize the papers one by one.

Before she’d even finished with those, someone else brought over another huge batch of documents to be copied.

Flustered, Yan Yafei threw the documents on the floor in frustration and couldn’t stop the tears from falling.

Lin Sifei perched on a nearby desk, baring her teeth in a grin. She really didn’t get it. The woman was busy enough as it was, yet she kept throwing documents around, making herself even busier. In the end, wasn’t she the one who had to clean it up and take the blame?

She clicked her tongue in exasperation, her eyes landing on a phone sitting not far away.

An idea began to bubble up in Lin Sifei’s mind. She looked left, then right, making sure no one was around. She crept forward cautiously, crawling over to the phone. She opened the camera app, found two stacks of files to prop it up with, and wedged the phone between them.

The phone’s camera was aimed right at Yan Yafei, recording everything as she threw the documents around.

Lin Sifei hid behind the files, her paw reaching in to guess where the camera’s stop button was. After filming for a while, Lin Sifei decided it was enough. She pressed the stop key, then pulled the phone out and sent the video to the group chat.

The group chat immediately had the pot explode4. Lin Sifei lay there and watched for a bit. Everyone was questioning Yan Yafei, with complaints about her princess attitude mixed in.

Lin Sifei nodded in satisfaction, almost wanting to jump in and share the pain of having her tail pulled. Then, she came to her senses with a jolt.

Wait a minute. I wanted to get the female lead fired, but I didn’t want to make an enemy of her. Looking at it now, I haven’t just offended her—this is offending her to death.

Lin Sifei’s tail twitched uneasily as she watched the company employees’ dissatisfaction with the female lead fill the chat.

It seemed she had become a driving force in the plot.

Lin Sifei slapped a paw to her forehead, floored by her own stupidity. She’d been so spoiled by Luo Ke that she’d been riding the waves until she could fly5, and had successfully ridden the waves and overturned the car6.

Just as Lin Sifei was wondering if there was any way to fix this, she looked up and her eyes met Yan Yafei’s.

“You damn cat!” Yan Yafei snarled, lunging at her.

Hearing her voice trembling with rage, all the fur on Lin Sifei’s body stood on end. She leaped onto the desk and fled.

Behind her, Yan Yafei let out a shriek.

Lin Sifei glanced back and, sure enough, saw her frowning and holding her phone.

Lin Sifei ducked her head and quietly slipped back to the office. When Luo Ke saw her state, she was a bit surprised. “What’s wrong? So crestfallen. Did someone steal your snacks?”

Lin Sifei shot her a glare, then remembered the huge enemy she had just made for her and immediately lowered her head in guilt.

While she was fretting over what to do, the office door was pushed open by Zhao Min. “President Luo, there’s a situation with Yan Yafei.”

Lin Sifei: …Oh no, it’s over.

Lin Sifei peeked out through the crack in the door and saw Yan Yafei sitting in a chair, crying.

Luo Ke stood with her arms crossed, her brow slightly furrowed. “You’re saying someone maliciously filmed you without your knowledge.”

Yan Yafei nodded. “This video was sent from my account. It can’t have been me who filmed it, right?”

Luo Ke’s brow furrowed tightly as she looked at the video in the group chat. She glanced back at Xiaoxiao, who was crouched down in the office, and sighed softly.
“I think I know who did it.”

Zhao Min looked at her in surprise. Luo Ke told her to contact security and pull up the surveillance footage from that time period.

A short while later, Luo Ke received the security footage and clicked play on her computer in front of everyone. They all watched as a cat jumped from the floor onto a desk, picked up a phone with its mouth, placed it in a pile of files, and then pawed the phone back out.

Everyone: …If they hadn’t seen it was a cat, they never would have believed it.

Soon after, the footage showed Yan Yafei yelling at Xiaoxiao.

Luo Ke straightened up. “Xiaoxiao came back just now looking all crestfallen. She was probably yelled at and knew she’d caused trouble.”

“This video was accidentally filmed by my cat, and I apologize for the harm it’s caused you. However, rewards and punishments should be clear. Miss Yan, shouldn’t you also reflect on your work attitude? The company’s documents are all very important. You’ve already made one mistake by mixing up files. With this kind of behavior, are you planning to make a second or third mistake? This company isn’t a charity. We gave you one chance; there won’t be a second.”

Yan Yafei bit her lip and lowered her head. “I understand.”

“Then let’s consider this matter closed.” Luo Ke swept her gaze over the employees, and they all took two steps back, moving closer to their own workstations.

Luo Ke turned and walked back into her office but couldn’t find her troublemaking cat anywhere.

She searched around and finally found the cat hiding in the crack between the sofa cushions, trying to pretend she didn’t exist.

She bent down and pulled her out, unable to stop a smile as she stroked her fur. Was she afraid of being blamed?

“It’s okay. Just don’t do it again next time. Don’t be scared, don’t be scared.”

Lin Sifei looked up at her guiltily, her eyes welling with tears. President Luo, you don’t understand how terrifying the female lead is! I’m so sorry QAQ

The author has something to say:

Feifei: Since I’ve already offended the female lead to the core, why not just crush her completely?

Gradually walking the path of the ultimate villain.

Thanks to …, Niu Youguo for one landmine, and Kele for two landmines. Mwah.

Based on everyone’s feedback, my next book will probably be 《Salted Fish》7. The 《Goddess》8 one is better suited for a shorter story, so maybe I’ll start writing both at some point. If you like them, you can add them to your collection. Love you (* ´ 3 `)
