After Transmigrating as a Scumbag Alpha, I Marked the Crazy Hotshot – Chapter 3

Guilt

So, the weak and easily bullied, delicate and easily pushed woman from yesterday, was indeed Bai Xin.

This way, the hope of reconciliation was slim —— Bai Xin in the book was a cold, vengeful, sinister, ruthless, taking revenge for the smallest grievance, crazy villain.

Just look at the incident where she suddenly attacked her with a vase.

Remaining motionless, waiting for her to completely let down her guard, then immediately counterattacking. If she hadn’t reacted quickly at the time, she would probably be in another world now.

Wait.

Something seems wrong again…

Bai Xin was the female lead’s ex-wife, and should also be an Alpha.

But the person who had relations with her last night was clearly an Omega.

And a delicate and yielding Omega at that.

Cheng Jiqing was certain she hadn’t misremembered the novel. Could it be that what she was experiencing now had deviated? Or was there a twist she hadn’t read in the later parts of the book, related to Bai Xin?

Cheng Jiqing’s thoughts were fleeting.

Bai Xin interrupted her.

“Let go of me first.”

This was considered Bai Xin’s first time speaking to her in a softened tone.

Cheng Jiqing looked down. Bai Xin’s cheeks were flushed, more vibrant than lilies, more tender than roses or moonflowers. The scent she emitted was like a lure.

Cheng Jiqing now knew how powerful an Omega’s pheromones were.

The back of her neck had been aching since earlier, but she had been forcing herself to divert her attention. Now that her thoughts were interrupted, her body was also numb.

She hadn’t wanted to keep holding Bai Xin down unless necessary.

Cheng Jiqing: “Okay…”

Cheng Jiqing felt a hint of shame that she had actually swallowed her saliva.

Releasing her, she maintained politeness throughout, not glancing below the neck.

Just as Cheng Jiqing’s knees touched the ground, preparing to get up, a hurried knocking suddenly sounded from outside the door, accompanied by a shout.

“Chengcheng!”

Cheng Jiqing was startled. This was her nickname in the real world, which the black-fan author had also written into the book.

In the book, only one person would call her that.

The original host’s older sister, Cheng Jing [程景 | Chéng Jǐng].

Though they had different Omega mothers.

Before she could respond, the doorknob was already turning. Cheng Jiqing’s brow furrowed, and at the moment the door was opened from the outside, she quickly grabbed the quilt on the bed and covered Bai Xin’s body.

She didn’t notice Bai Xin’s strange expression as she made this subconscious move.

At the same time, a cold and glamorous woman appeared at the door.

Cheng Jiqing stood up. Cheng Jing had ear-length brown hair and a gray suit. Her eyes were filled with urgency as she looked at Cheng Jiqing, then turned to the bulging human-shaped form by her feet, her expression burning with anger.

Alphas would emit oppressive pheromones when enraged, but her level was higher than Cheng Jing’s, so she wasn’t affected.

Was Bai Xin, an Omega, alright? Cheng Jiqing wondered.

“Is this how you defy me?” Cheng Jing suppressed her anger, her gaze moving from the bed to Cheng Jiqing’s face: “Debasing yourself, are you happy now?”

Cheng Jiqing then realized that the original host’s memories she had were only recent ones. As for the defiance Cheng Jing mentioned, she couldn’t find the reason. But she could feel some residual fragments…

Those fragments told her that the conflict between the original host and Cheng Jing was definitely not a small matter.

Perhaps this feeling was absurd, but Cheng Jiqing chose to trust her intuition.

She hadn’t forgotten that she was now in a book. Before figuring out the reason, she couldn’t act as if nothing had happened. Especially now that she was already in the role of the scummy Alpha.

She couldn’t let people think she was strange.

Other things might be difficult, but getting into character was her forte.

Cheng Jiqing slightly raised her chin and sneered: “Why would I defy you?”

If you could tell me the reason, that would be even better.

To Cheng Jiqing’s disappointment, apart from a slight flicker of her eyelashes, Cheng Jing didn’t pick up on this.

Then Cheng Jing frowned and approached her: “What did you do?!”

As she spoke to Cheng Jiqing, Cheng Jing glanced at the quilt again.

What else could they have done?

The room was filled with the scent of Alpha and Omega intimacy, and the floral pheromones were especially hard to ignore.

Cheng Jing easily distinguished Cheng Jiqing’s pheromones, the scent of peach blossoms.

They must have drunk quite a bit, as the air was also tinged with the aroma of alcohol.

Although Bai Xin was covered by the quilt, she was very close to Cheng Jiqing, her fingers right next to Cheng Jiqing’s feet. She was currently still, so the Alpha’s scent was clearer.

Gentle, amorous pheromones, combined with the smell of alcohol, made Cheng Jiqing’s aura aggressive.

“What we did should be obvious.” Cheng Jiqing displayed rebellion and hostility to the fullest.

She noticed Cheng Jing’s sharp glance towards her feet, so she also looked down.

She had covered Bai Xin tightly.

Before Cheng Jing arrived, Bai Xin had been showing signs of being in heat. Perhaps not wanting to be seen like this, Bai Xin’s face had been half-hidden under the quilt.

Only half of her slender, white fingers were exposed.

Cheng Jiqing didn’t know why, but she had the illusion of being caught having a secret affair.

Then she took a step, blocking Cheng Jing’s view.

Before Cheng Jing could speak, Cheng Jiqing said: “Isn’t it a bit impolite of you to come in without my permission?”

Whether it was Cheng Jiqing’s tone or her actions, Cheng Jing’s face turned even colder: “This is the villa I bought for you. I don’t have the right to come in?!”

Cheng Jiqing: “…”

“I can let you play however you want, but you can’t just drag any random person into bed to spite me!” Cheng Jing took a breath: “Chengcheng… I don’t want you to be like this.”

Any random person? She didn’t dare say that.

Cheng Jiqing remembered the ending in the novel where the Cheng family was dealt with by Bai Xin, one by one, more miserably than the last.

But Cheng Jiqing could see genuine disappointment in Cheng Jing’s eyes. Even if she knew there was a major conflict between the original host and Cheng Jing, she wasn’t the original host after all. What did these matters have to do with her?

So she didn’t intend to continue entangled with Cheng Jing here, only wanting to resolve the current situation.

“It’s already like this.” Cheng Jiqing looked down and saw Bai Xin’s slender fingers twitch slightly under the snow-white quilt. Her heart inexplicably stirred, like the kitten she had taken a liking to at the pet store had scratched her.

Cheng Jiqing was startled by her own thoughts, reminding herself that this was a crazy villain, not a kitten.

She looked away: “You go out first. I need to change.”

Cheng Jing: “Cheng Jiqing!”

Cheng Jing’s patience was exhausted. She had been tolerant enough of Cheng Jiqing. Why couldn’t her sister understand her good intentions?

She reached out to push Cheng Jiqing.

“What are you doing?” Cheng Jiqing had no feelings for Cheng Jing, so when she felt offended, her aura instantly became oppressive.

Cheng Jing found it difficult to accept this attitude, and her words turned harsh, although they weren’t directed at her sister.

“What? This filth dares to crawl into your bed, but doesn’t dare to see me?”

Cheng Jiqing saw Bai Xin’s hand curl up, clearly unable to endure it any longer.

She was silent for a moment, then bent down and lifted the quilt from Bai Xin’s cheek, inadvertently brushing against Bai Xin’s hand. The fingers that looked cold and white were burning hot to the touch.

She met Bai Xin’s wary and fierce gaze.

If only Bai Xin’s eyes could be a little gentler, Cheng Jiqing thought.

Cheng Jiqing sat down by the bed: “Then take a good look at who this person is.”

After confirming Cheng Jing had seen clearly, she covered Bai Xin back up with the quilt, this time completely covering Bai Xin’s fierce face.

Bai Xin: “…”

Cheng Jiqing said: “You should recognize her, right? Qin Yufu’s ex-wife. Do you think I would sleep with an Alpha?”

Cheng Jing certainly recognized Bai Xin.

Back then, Cheng Jiqing had caused no end of trouble in order to force Qin Yufu and Bai Xin to divorce.

Hearing Cheng Jiqing’s words, Cheng Jing said: “Then who is the Omega you were messing around with? And why is Bai Xin here?”

Cheng Jiqing lowered her head slightly, staring at the bulging human-shaped form at her feet.

Answering Cheng Jing’s second question: “Tying up a rival Alpha and trapping her here, what do you think I’m doing?”

“To humiliate her, of course.”

Cheng Jiqing kept observing the figure at her feet as she spoke.

These words weren’t pleasant, but Bai Xin preferred to admit it rather than make any move.

Her guess was probably correct.

After Cheng Jing entered, Bai Xin hadn’t acted rashly, partly because she didn’t want to be seen, and mostly because she didn’t want anyone to discover her Omega identity.

Claiming to be an Alpha was to hide this fact.

So, did she now know Bai Xin’s little secret?

Cheng Jiqing breathed a sigh of relief. This meant she still had some leverage to negotiate with Bai Xin.

Cheng Jing’s expression didn’t improve, because Cheng Jiqing hadn’t answered her first question.

Just as she was about to ask again, someone not far behind her said: “CEO Cheng, the shareholders’ meeting is about to begin…”

Cheng Jing took a deep breath, the female CEO exuding authority: “Chengcheng, come back with me first.”

She glared at the form at Cheng Jiqing’s feet: “You don’t have to worry about this. I’ll handle it. Come back with me now.”

Cheng Jiqing noticed Cheng Jing used the word “handle.” It certainly wasn’t referring to the room. So who else could it be? Naturally, Bai Xin.

“How are you going to handle it?”

“If you really hate her that much, I’ll make her disappear from your sight forever.”

Cheng Jiqing: “…”

Who disappears is uncertain.

Bai Xin was still in heat. If this dragged on, her Omega identity would be exposed sooner or later. By then, her life in this world would truly be beyond redemption.

Cheng Jiqing paused for a moment, lowering her voice: “Jiejie…”

This tone actually carried a hint of probing.

Cheng Jing was taken aback. The momentary joy was genuine. Since that incident, Cheng Jiqing hadn’t called her that for a very long time…

Cheng Jiqing had a natural talent for capturing expressions. She saw the softening in Cheng Jing’s eyes, indicating that the appropriate show of weakness was effective.

Immediately following up: “I want to handle this myself.”

Cheng Jiqing stood on the balcony of the living room, looking down. Cheng Jing had left her a car before leaving.

This did pique her curiosity. Cheng Jing was indeed very doting towards the original host, just like in the book, but what had happened to cause such a rift between them?

However, this wasn’t the most pressing issue right now.

She briefly pondered the transmigration. Returning to her own world was probably very difficult, or perhaps there would never be another chance.

So the important thing now was—if she wanted to live comfortably here, she had to deal with Bai Xin first.

As she was thinking, she heard a movement behind her.

Cheng Jiqing turned around. Generally, an Omega’s heat wouldn’t suddenly erupt without suppressants, but would come in alternating waves, each stronger than the last. Continuous, subsiding and returning, over and over again.

Until the heat completely ended.

Now that things had calmed down a bit, the pink flush had faded from Bai Xin’s cheeks, returning to a cool white, making her face appear even smaller and more delicate.

Cheng Jiqing: “It’s good that you understood my hint just now.”

When she had lifted the quilt and made eye contact with Bai Xin, it was actually a hint—if you don’t want your identity exposed, don’t move.

“What’s your purpose?”

Why would Cheng Jiqing help her conceal her Omega identity? Bai Xin didn’t know what she was thinking, but she let out a cold laugh: “Is it so you can try the same trick again next time?”

Cheng Jiqing: “…”

Cheng Jiqing was choked speechless.

“You won’t believe anything I say now, but I didn’t drug you.” Forget it, a pale explanation wouldn’t even convince a dog.

Cheng Jiqing said: “You’d better go to the hospital, and then I’ll take you back.”

She paused: “I’m taking you back, not because I want to have another time with you…”

Cheng Jiqing stopped mid-sentence, noticing something amiss in Bai Xin’s eyes.

She paused slightly. It was a bit suggestive, as if she was disgusted with Bai Xin and didn’t want to have another encounter.

Of course, it wasn’t that she wanted another encounter either.

Cheng Jiqing explained her reason for taking Bai Xin back: “You saw Cheng Jing’s attitude just now. If you’re alone today, I’m afraid she’ll cause you trouble. Then your Omega identity won’t be hidden anymore.”

At least get through today.

Bai Xin looked suspicious. She couldn’t think of a reason for Cheng Jiqing to do this.

However… Cheng Jiqing had a point.

Cheng Jiqing saw the hesitation in Bai Xin’s eyes.

“So, hospital or…?”

In the black Maybach, Cheng Jing’s assistant received news that the two had left the villa together.

“Miss took that Alpha to the hospital. It seems she was also injected with an inducer.” The assistant added: “Perhaps Miss doesn’t want to make a big deal out of it… doesn’t want you to worry.”

Cheng Jing: “If she was afraid of me worrying, she wouldn’t do such irresponsible things to herself.”

She had heard about the drugging before arriving at the villa. Initially, she thought the target was Qin Yufu, but her subordinates found that Qin Yufu was safe and sound at the company. Thinking back to the mess she had seen upon arriving…

Cheng Jing’s knuckles turned white: “Find out exactly who the Omega was that was with Chengcheng yesterday.”

The assistant replied: “Yes. Should we still deal with Bai Xin?”

Cheng Jing’s mind was filled with Cheng Jiqing’s defiant words at the villa. She didn’t care about a low-level Alpha like Bai Xin: “Keep an eye on her. If Bai Xin dares to spout nonsense, the Bai family won’t have it easy either.”

They remained silent throughout the journey.

In the spacious back seat of the car, Cheng Jiqing and Bai Xin sat on opposite sides.

The hospital they were going to was chosen by Bai Xin, and Cheng Jiqing agreed without hesitation.

Cheng Jiqing looked out the window, seeing her reflection in the glass. Apart from her slightly shorter hair, she looked the same.

Yet everything was different.

Outside the window, the scorching streetscape whizzed by. Before yesterday, she had been buying winter coats online, and today she was in the August of another world.

The glass was hot, the sun shining in was hot.

Only the temperature of her heart was a little cool.

It wasn’t that she was reluctant to part with any family or loved ones, as she had none.

She grew up in an orphanage in her original world. Her greatest loves in life were acting, traveling, and cats. She had been independent from a young age and started acting early, so she didn’t have many opportunities to make friends—perhaps her agent and assistant counted.

But apart from her life and money, there really wasn’t anything she couldn’t bear to part with.

Even in a different place, she still had to live, didn’t she?

Cheng Jiqing thought, the car and driver belonged to Cheng Jing, and the hospital was crowded, so it wasn’t convenient. She would wait until Bai Xin finished her checkup and then talk to her.

Make peace if possible, and if not…

Cheng Jiqing touched the string of white jade Bodhi beads on her wrist.

The amber sunlight fell on half of her face. Her fox-like eyes narrowed, and her brown pupils were crystal clear, like gemstones.

She had managed to live well on her own in the original world until 28, and it wasn’t all due to luck.

As Cheng Jiqing pondered, Bai Xin slowly turned her head, gazing at her with an unreadable expression. No one knew what she was thinking.

The car stopped at the hospital.

Cheng Jiqing got out first, looking at Bai Xin across the car.

The dress Bai Xin was wearing belonged to the original host, a simple black mid-sleeved dress. Bai Xin was a few centimeters shorter than her…the long dress reached her ankles. Everything else was fine, except for the tightness across the chest.

Even Cheng Jiqing felt it was difficult to breathe comfortably, saying: “Actually, there are pants in the closet.”

They could also cover the marks on her legs.

She didn’t have the nerve to say the second half.

Bai Xin glanced at her without speaking.

Cheng Jiqing didn’t push it. She wasn’t the type to fawn over others. She told the driver to go back first, then walked into the hospital with Bai Xin.

There were three steps at the hospital entrance. Seeing Bai Xin’s unnatural leg movements, Cheng Jiqing suddenly understood.

Cheng Jiqing felt another pang of guilt…

It was 9:00 AM.

There weren’t many people in the private hospital, and the smell of disinfectant in the air wasn’t too strong.

The two of them got into the elevator.

“Which floor are we going to?”

“Sixteen.”

Cheng Jiqing pressed sixteen. The sign indicated the “Special AO Examination Department.”

The elevator stopped on a middle floor. Several people carrying large and small bags got on, instantly filling the elevator space.

Cheng Jiqing made way, inadvertently being pushed to the back. Glancing sideways, she saw Bai Xin’s uncomfortable expression as her arm was grazed by a hard bag someone was carrying.

With so many people, it was hard to see clearly. Cheng Jiqing looked away, thinking for no apparent reason that Omega skin was very delicate, and even a slightly firm touch could leave a mark.

As she was still thinking, her arm reached out, grabbing Bai Xin’s wrist and pulling her forward.

Then she slightly bent her arm, shielding Bai Xin from the surrounding people.

The moment Bai Xin was pulled over, she was wary, but quickly realized what Cheng Jiqing was doing.

She really couldn’t see through this person.

She and Cheng Jiqing weren’t exactly pressed together, but they were close. She had to admit, the Alpha’s scent was unique and captivating.

She rarely paid attention to peach blossoms, so until just now, she hadn’t known what scent Cheng Jiqing carried.

But just now, in that instant, she suddenly recognized the scent as peach blossom, or more accurately, peach blossom wine.

Peach blossoms themselves didn’t have a strong fragrance, but it was particularly noticeable on an Alpha, at least to her.

Bai Xin suppressed the heat in her body, her knees involuntarily trembling. She fought back the urge to get closer to the Alpha, closing her eyes. This was the annoying thing about Omegas: if they were marked by someone in a short period, they would feel an affinity for that person’s pheromones.

Opening her eyes again, she looked up and saw Cheng Jiqing’s smooth throat, and the small mole in the middle.

Then she saw Cheng Jiqing’s throat bob.

Bai Xin looked away. Her appearance was indeed first-class, and the Buddhist prayer beads on her wrist gave her a somewhat abstinent quality.

No wonder, despite the unpleasant rumors about Cheng Jiqing, those Omega girls still flocked to her.

Cheng Jiqing was 176cm [≈ 5’9″] tall, and Bai Xin was about 173cm [≈ 5’8″]. Throughout the entire process, Cheng Jiqing hadn’t looked down at Bai Xin, partly to avoid awkwardness.

She was afraid Bai Xin would think she was trying to corner her in the elevator. She definitely didn’t have that kind of hobby.

So the moment the crowd dispersed, Cheng Jiqing immediately withdrew.

They reached the sixteenth floor.

“Miss Bai, what brings you here today?”

A nurse greeted Bai Xin familiarly. Bai Xin asked: “Is Dr. Tang [唐 | Táng] in?”

The nurse said: “Yes, she’s in her office. Please go ahead.”

Bai Xin’s expression didn’t change in response to the friendly greeting. She simply nodded.

Cheng Jiqing casually asked: “Do you come here often?”

“I’ll go by myself.”

After saying that, Bai Xin stopped and turned around, stopping her from following with a look.

No matter how badly Cheng Jiqing had lived in the past, she was still an award-winning actress, pampered and admired wherever she went. It had been a long time since she had been treated like this.

She touched the prayer beads on her wrist. Buddha be merciful.

Who made you the one on top last night?

And who made you take the script of the cannon fodder scummy Alpha?

Cheng Jiqing quickly calmed herself down. She sat down on a nearby leather chair and began to wait. Nurses around her cast glances at her. Used to interacting with fans, Cheng Jiqing habitually raised her hand and waved: “Hi.”

Bai Xin, who hadn’t yet entered the office, heard this and glanced back.

Truly promiscuous.

How could such a person be a virgin?

“You’ve been marked?”

This was the first thing Bai Xin heard after entering the office.

The woman in the chair wore a white coat and had shoulder-length black hair. She wore gold-rimmed glasses and was the head of the Special Examination Department, and also Bai Xin’s only doctor over the years—Tang Jia [唐佳 | Táng Jiā].

“How can you tell?” Bai Xin’s beautiful brow furrowed slightly in displeasure.

“A face full of spring breeze, and unsatisfied desire.”

“…”

Tang Jia chuckled softly, her gaze moving towards Bai Xin’s neck: “Just kidding. The marks on your neck.”

Bai Xin herself had forgotten. Her expression told Tang Jia that it wasn’t funny.

“Then let’s get down to business.” Tang Jia composed herself and said, “What happened?”

Halfway through a brief summary…

Tang Jia rubbed the pen in her hand: “So now, the people who know you’re an Omega are me, Qin Yufu, and Cheng Jiqing.”

She paused: “It’s hard to believe that you gave your first mark to her.”

It was understandable why Tang Jia said that.

The marriage partner Bai Xin had painstakingly chosen had been ruined by Cheng Jiqing’s underhanded methods. Cheng Jiqing’s obsession and infatuation with Qin Yufu were practically common knowledge within their circles.

And now, Bai Xin, Qin Yufu’s ex-wife, had been marked by Cheng Jiqing.

It was simply absurd.

Bai Xin’s light voice carried a hint of indifference: “To be precise, I let her mark me.”

Tang Jia raised an eyebrow: “Go on.”

“She stopped.”

Bai Xin slightly raised her eyes. Under her raven-like lashes, her pupils caught the golden light streaming in from the window.

Like a cat’s eyes.

“Cheng Jiqing stopped.”

At that moment, Cheng Jiqing stopped and suddenly asked if she was willing.

There seemed to be another sentence afterward… Were you forced to do this for money? It seemed like that, she couldn’t quite remember.

But she had heard the first sentence clearly.

Cheng Jiqing might not have been sober when she said it, but her consciousness was clear.

Then she said two words to Cheng Jiqing…

Hearing this, Tang Jia asked: “Then you…”

“Needed it.” Bai Xin didn’t feel ashamed saying these words. Her physiological structure was unique, and after all these years of torment, she almost didn’t recognize the word “shame” anymore.

Tang Jia placed her pen on the table, silent for two seconds, and sighed softly.

Bai Xin was an extremely rare SSS-level Omega. Tang Jia had only seen such a level in medical texts and ancient records. She was shocked when she first learned about it.

As an SSS-level Omega, Bai Xin’s physiology, in addition to the normal Omega characteristics, had another sexual characteristic—a second gland.

This meant Bai Xin had two glands.

One on her neck, and another that only she could see.

The double glands made Bai Xin’s constitution even more unique.

Her sensitivity was a full 20 times higher than that of an ordinary Omega, so she didn’t like wearing high collars and mostly wore dresses.

Especially during her heat.

Normally, Bai Xin just needed to find an Alpha to resolve it.

In fact, during the most intense part of her heat, she had tried, but unfortunately…perhaps this was the peculiarity of being a 3S—Bai Xin would feel uncomfortable whenever she was in close contact with an Alpha, even an S-level.

She had never succeeded.

Bai Xin said calmly:

“Except with Cheng Jiqing.”

  1. Wait, is this the story about the weird sister who had a thing for her own sister, the MC? It shouldn’t be… right? Because that would be one reason why I dropped that novel if I remember correctly and the trash translation from the other site where I read this. Hmm

    • Really?! I ‘m still early in the novel and it does feel like the sister has a thing for MC… I hope it’s not that bad though, this is just one novel that got a lot of votes from a poll I did some time ago
