Lily
It was November in Beicheng, yet the air was still stifling. Cheng Jiqing [程季青 | Chéng Jìqīng] thought irritably.
Her mind spun like a windmill, making her steps unsteady as she entered. The moment the door opened, a faint fragrance, like lilies, filled her nostrils.
Then she saw another woman in the European-style chair beside the king-sized bed.
Long, wavy brown hair, a white sundress that ended far above the knee, and hands tied behind her back, accentuating her curves—a C-cup, at least.
As for her face, undeniably, this was a strikingly beautiful woman.
Cheng Jiqing’s throat felt parched. A strange feeling crept over her. “Who arranged for you to be here?” she asked, her voice hoarse, as she steadied herself against a nearby clothes rack.
Hadn’t she just casually expressed more interest in women during an interview? This was the second time someone had been sent to her door. The last time, she’d nearly been set up by her nemesis.
This time it was excessive. They were resorting to bondage to mess with her now? Were they crazy?
She noticed the woman was now staring at her through narrowed eyes, a dangerous glint in her hazy gaze, much like the scent of flowers in the room.
The woman gritted her teeth, remaining silent, her breathing as rapid as Cheng Jiqing’s.
Cheng Jiqing wanted to ask where the cameras were, but the lily scent in the air intensified, suddenly burning her skin, making it hot and itchy, especially the back of her neck…
She’d heard that keeping lilies indoors for too long could be toxic.
Cheng Jiqing suspected she might be poisoned. The initial clarity was fading into a tingling numbness. The poison seemed to be spreading rapidly, and she soon found herself leaning against the wall for support.
Her body itched intensely, a sensation of something trying to claw its way out from beneath her skin, but she couldn’t pinpoint the source. She irritably felt the fabric of her clothes against her skin, suddenly unbearably restrictive.
Bai Xin [白新 | Bái Xīn] bit the tip of her tongue, struggling to regain a sliver of lucidity amidst the overwhelming haze.
Unfortunately, that small bit of clarity was instantly swept away by the Alpha’s peach blossom wine scent and a faint hint of floral fragrance. This sweet pheromone, while initially delicate, surged forward like a tsunami.
Bai Xin’s face flushed crimson, her body slick with a mixture of sweat from weakness and restraint.
She looked at the Alpha by the wall, her crop top revealing her midriff, a milky-white bracelet on her wrist, fingers clawing at her neck, radiating pheromones.
She had been brought here in a daze. She’d overheard the person who tied her up say that Cheng Jiqing planned to take her virginity today.
Such naiveté and impatience. Cheng Jiqing truly acted like an inexperienced fledgling who didn’t understand her own glands, like a complete idiot.
Bai Xin felt utterly powerless. A look of malice and ruthlessness flashed in her eyes. Cheng Jiqing, I will definitely kill you.
Her breath hitched, like a fish stranded on the shore.
She knew that no one would come to save her except herself… Holding her breath, Bai Xin mustered a meager amount of strength before her heat reached its peak.
“Cheng Jiqing.”
Cheng Jiqing heard someone call her name.
By then, she was lost in a daze, vaguely registering a soft, seductive voice speaking to her.
“Untie me, and I’ll help you…”
“Don’t you want to mark me?”
“Come here.”
Cheng Jiqing didn’t know what “marking” meant, but the soft voice promised help. Head swimming, she obeyed, acting purely on instinct.
The moment she untied the ropes—
“Bang—”
Cheng Jiqing’s back slammed against the floor. The pain cleared her head slightly. She saw the woman from the chair straddling her waist, looking down at her.
Reactively, she grabbed the woman’s wrists, easily pinning them down. Even though her mind was foggy, her physical strength remained.
Meeting the woman’s gaze, Cheng Jiqing mumbled, “Why so rough? That hurt.”
Although Bai Xin was on top, seemingly in a dominant position, her mind blanked for two seconds the moment she made contact with Cheng Jiqing. This allowed Cheng Jiqing to seize her wrists, making her look surprisingly compliant. Her body even seemed to go limp.
Bai Xin’s heart pounded. Just that touch, combined with the peach blossom wine scent, pushed her heat to its apex.
From Cheng Jiqing’s perspective, the woman had thrown herself at her, clinging to her, sweat and all.
And the scent of lilies grew even stronger.
Rich, yet not overpowering, as if mingled with a spring breeze, a fatal allure within its freshness.
This poison is potent; it can even control minds, Cheng Jiqing thought.
She probably couldn’t resist anymore.
Her inherent goodness couldn’t resist anymore.
——I’ve been acting for so many years, can’t I enjoy myself a little?
——No, it’s all the enemy’s schemes!
——But I can’t resist.
——This is a honey trap!
A fierce battle raged in her mind, like a clash between good and evil. Suddenly, the woman moved, warm breath tickling her neck.
The woman nuzzled against her like a kitten, her nose buried in her hair, a broken sound escaping her throat.
Cheng Jiqing had never slept with anyone, let alone a woman, but now she wanted to try.
However, before she could, in her hazy state, after inhaling that intoxicating lily scent, she murmured, “No, this room is toxic.”
Cheng Jiqing, in a daze, carried the woman and opened a well-ventilated room.
Cheng Jiqing woke up shivering.
She slowly opened her eyes, the harsh light streaming in through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. It took her a few seconds to regain her vision. The weight on her chest, the soft, boneless body in her arms, the tangled, torn clothes—all served as reminders of what had happened last night.
Cheng Jiqing froze. The absurd part was that they weren’t in the bedroom, but on the balcony, exposed to the elements, with its unobstructed view through the floor-to-ceiling windows…
The only piece of clothing on either of them was the sundress hooked around Cheng Jiqing’s ankle.
Cheng Jiqing: “…”
For a moment, Cheng Jiqing recalled the woman pressed against the floor-to-ceiling window, her hair damp, her intense gaze reflected in the glass. The neon lights, the late-night glow of the city, paled in comparison to her beauty.
It must have been when she loosened her hold, letting the cool air dissipate some of the heat, that the person in her arms stirred.
Cheng Jiqing sighed, reflecting that it was inappropriate to be thinking about such things now. Even if it was a conspiracy, it was too late to do anything about it.
They had slept together, so she had a responsibility. At least, that’s what she felt at the moment.
She carried the woman to the large bed in the room and pulled a corner of the blanket over her. Before she could withdraw her hand, the woman suddenly clutched her arm and pulled her down, as if clinging to a lifeline after a nightmare.
Momentarily bewildered, Cheng Jiqing remained in the embrace.
The pull made the muscles in Cheng Jiqing’s arm ache.
She looked down. The woman’s eyelashes were long and feathery, her skin a cool white, her lips a pale, pink-lily color.
Lily.
Cheng Jiqing inhaled, then inhaled again, finally realizing that the scent of lilies was coming from the woman…
Unlike the artificial scent of perfume.
This fragrance was natural, intoxicating.
Cheng Jiqing shook her head. Put on some clothes and stop being bewitched. You need to contact your agent and figure out how to handle this. She’d only been famous for two years, and the villa she bought with a loan was still being grouted…
In the two seconds it took for these thoughts to flash through her mind, she gently laid the woman down and covered her with the blanket.
However, the second she let go, a stream of memories that didn’t belong to her flooded her mind. Beyond that, she realized something fantastical—she seemed to have transmigrated into a book.
It was a Yuri ABO novel called 《Savage Backlash》.
While it was called a novel, it also contained elements derived from real life. And, unfortunately, she was that real-life element.
Her character was a spoiled, arrogant, and promiscuous scumbag Alpha, pampered by her older sister. She had a bunch of trashy friends who encouraged her bad behavior. When this Alpha set her sights on the married female lead, Qin Yufu [秦語芙 | Qín Yǔfú], her trashy friends helped her scheme, using coercion, inducements, and even drugs.
Finally, under the pressure of her family and the Alpha’s relentless torment, the female lead was forced to divorce her ex-wife, Bai Xin.
But the female lead didn’t give in to the Alpha. So, the Alpha, taking her friends’ advice, resorted to kidnapping.
After abducting the female lead to her villa, she used aphrodisiacs to induce heat in both of them, and then—forcefully marked her.
What good ending could a cannon fodder scumbag Alpha have? Then came the usual tropes. Although she succeeded, within two years, her family went bankrupt and ended up homeless, despised even by stray dogs. The Alpha herself was dragged into an alley and, while fully conscious, had her glands removed.
Cheng Jiqing still remembered that description—
Cheng Jiqing’s heart felt like it was exploding, her body and soul separating from the sheer agony. The pain was so intense it felt like it no longer belonged to her. Someone removed the hood from her head.
A beautiful, pale hand entered her field of vision, fingernails painted a glossy, bright red. Cheng Jiqing’s eyes widened. It was Bai Xin!
Unable to move, she could only watch as Bai Xin, holding a bloody scalpel, curled her lips into a sinister smile, a dimple appearing on her left cheek. She looked like a seductive demon from hell, raising her death scythe.
When she read that part, she’d felt sorry for “herself” while simultaneously being captivated by the ex-wife’s ruthlessness.
To be honest, she kind of admired this ex-wife.
So, even though the “her” in the novel jumped to her death, she continued reading, wanting to see the subsequent entanglement between the female lead and her ex-wife.
However, after seeing the villainous ex-wife completely descend into darkness and ultimately be killed by the female lead and her true love in the name of justice…
She hadn’t continued reading.
Maybe it was because the couple she was rooting for had a bad ending, or maybe she simply felt that Bai Xin was a compelling character and her demise was a pity.
She’d heard there was an unexpected twist at the end, but she hadn’t gotten around to reading it yet—she had just finished filming her last scene and felt a little dizzy. Her assistant dropped her off at the hotel, and in that short time… she transmigrated.
After changing into a set of clothes, Cheng Jiqing sat on the edge of the bed, lost in thought. She glanced at the white jade prayer beads on her wrist—identical. Hesitantly, she touched her chest—medium-sized, unchanged.
She felt a little relieved. At least this hater had referenced reality when writing.
Her thoughts were drawn back by a soft moan from the person in the bed. Her mind gradually sharpened.
Looking at the woman on the bed, a complex emotion welled up in Cheng Jiqing’s eyes. If she guessed correctly, this was the kidnapped female lead, Qin Yufu…
Cheng Jiqing thoughtfully covered the marks on the “female lead’s” neck and watched as her eyes fluttered open, hazy as mist.
When the woman’s gaze finally cleared, Cheng Jiqing offered a polite greeting.
“Hello, Miss Qin…”
She’d been thinking that, if she were in the female lead’s shoes, she’d definitely want revenge eventually. But for now, she wanted to show her willingness to have a civilized conversation.
However, after hearing her greeting, the woman on the bed glared at her with a sharp, knife-like look. “What did you call me?”
The author has something to say:
Bai Xin: You called someone else’s name after sleeping with me? You scumbag!

I distinctly remember reading this… from somewhere? Though I don’t know where or if I ended up finishing it. Guess, I’ll start over from here… lol.
