After Being Scummed – Chapter 56

Teacher Zuo, please teach me more

When flying from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere, and considering layovers and other factors, even if Zuo Jingyou packs up quickly, it would still take at least two days. In preparation for Zuo Jingyou’s arrival, Yin Bai made full use of these two days, having the staff clean both inside and outside the house.

The waiting time is always agonizing. During these long two days, Yin Bai wheeled around the house, going up and down, looking at the paintings on the wall, at her vases, at her tea sets, at her roses, and all other things, repeatedly asking herself, “Will she like it?”

Will she like everything on the island?

The small objects around her answered, just like her staff did, “Everything is already perfect; your esteemed guest will surely like it.”

Every time she received this answer, Yin Bai would feel elated for a while. However, after the joy, she would fall into a restless state of mind again.

On the morning of the third day, Yin Bai received a call from Zhang Yu, saying that she and Zuo Jingyou had landed at a nearby airport and were on their way to the port. Yin Bai immediately set out, instructing someone to take the yacht to the dock to pick up Zuo Jingyou.

By a little after eight in the morning, Yin Bai had arrived at the dock. She was dressed in a light white shirt and grey-blue trousers, wearing a large hat, seated on a chair on the yacht’s deck.

The sun rose behind her, casting a radiant golden glow on the light blue sea. The wind blew in from the distant ocean, creating ripples and splashes as it brushed against the sleek lines of the yacht. Seagulls took flight, their wings vibrating as they soared towards the horizon, leaving a captivating silhouette against the azure sky.

Yin Bai sat in the chair, holding a cane in her hand, nervously tapping the deck.

Bathed in the morning light, she continuously looked up, hoping to catch sight of that familiar figure as soon as possible.

After an uncertain wait, a black sedan approached the dock in the morning light from a distance. As it neared the dock, the car came to a stop.

Yin Bai immediately gripped her cane when she saw the black sedan. In a moment, she witnessed the car door opening, and Zuo Jingyou, dressed in a white long dress with a black slim belt, gracefully stepped out.

At the sight of the figure, Yin Bai tightened her grip on the cane, suppressing the desire to speak, holding back all her calls in her throat.

She had arrived, she really had!

In the radiant morning light, Zuo Jingyou, in a white long dress, with her long hair cascading like a waterfall, and stepping in high heels, approached the port and walked towards Yin Bai.

Upon spotting Yin Bai at the dock, Zuo Jingyou raised her lips, forming a gentle smile. She waved, greeting Yin Bai on the deck, saying, “Yin Bai!”

The sea breeze lifted her black hair slightly, and the woman in the white dress stood on the dock, bathed in the golden morning light, her smile radiant.

Yin Bai sat on the deck, holding her chest with her hand, her eyes full of Zuo Jingyou. She smiled, raising her hand to wave back in response.

Zuo Jingyou raised her eyebrows, facing the sea breeze, and like a seagull, she quickly ran towards Yin Bai from the port and soon boarded the yacht.

Yin Bai gripped the cane by her side, supporting herself as she stood up, walking towards the cabin door on the deck. Just as she reached the door, Zuo Jingyou had already stepped onto the yacht.

The two of them met at the door, and when their eyes met, Yin Bai, looking at Zuo Jingyou’s face, found a thousand words stuck in her throat, unable to utter a single one.

Zuo Jingyou stood in front of her, looking up at her with tiny specks of light in her eyes. She smiled gently, opened her arms towards Yin Bai, and softly said, “Give me a hug.”

Yin Bai couldn’t help but smile. She released her cane, leaned forward toward Zuo Jingyou, and reached out to hug her tightly.

Zuo Jingyou caught her, supporting Yin Bai with her body. Her hands passed through Yin Bai’s armpits, tightly embracing her. She rested her head on Yin Bai’s shoulder, dreamily saying, “I was so afraid… afraid I’d never see you again. Luckily… your call came.”

Yin Bai held her waist with one hand, supporting the back of her head with the other, pressing her tightly against her chest, and with teary eyes, she said, “No… luckily, you came.”

Because she came, Yin Bai dared to run out from her secret base.

Yin Bai held Zuo Jingyou tightly, raising her hand affectionately to rub Zuo Jingyou’s hair, embracing her for a long, long time. The bright morning light deeply imprinted the image of the two embracing figures on the deck.

After a while, Yin Bai released Zuo Jingyou, raised her hand to rub her hair, and looked down at her with a gaze that flickered. “We… I’ll take you back first.”

Zuo Jingyou had been on the move without proper rest and was exhausted at this point. She hugged Yin Bai’s waist, gently nodding. “Okay.”

Zuo Jingyou bent down, picked up Yin Bai’s cane, and handed it to Yin Bai. Yin Bai, relying on the cane again, held Zuo Jingyou’s hand and led her into the interior of the yacht, taking her back to the island.

After coming down of the yacht and driving for a while, they finally reached the center of the island. Yin Bai got off the car, sat in a wheelchair, and turned to look at Zuo Jingyou, who was pushing the wheelchair behind her, asking cheerfully, “What would you like to eat? I’ve had breakfast prepared, both Chinese and Western.”

“Or do you want to take a shower and rest first?”

Along the way, with spring flowers in full bloom, the air was filled with the fragrance of spring. However, Zuo Jingyou, pushing the wheelchair, paid no attention to the lively scenery. Her gaze was entirely focused on Yin Bai, sitting in the wheelchair in front of her.

Perhaps the spring scenery was too vibrant, making Yin Bai’s fair and beautiful features even more charming and lovely.

Zuo Jingyou pushed her wheelchair, listening to her commands as they moved forward. With a light smile, she said, “Don’t keep asking me. What about you? Are you hungry? Did you have breakfast?”

Yin Bai pursed her lips and smiled, somewhat embarrassed, saying, “Not yet.” She had gotten up early to pick up Zuo Jingyou at the dock, and there wasn’t any time for breakfast.

Zuo Jingyou made a decision for her, smiling, “Then let’s have breakfast. Besides, Zhang Yu has been on the move since early morning and complained about being starving on the plane.”

Following behind them like a giant light bulb, Zhang Yu finally heard her name. She sighed and said from behind, “Exactly, BOSS, with all the running around I’ve done, have a little sympathy and let me and Teacher Zuo have a decent meal!”

She had suspected from early on that Yin Bai’s actions this time were not normal. After Yin Bai left, she speculated whether there was something fishy going on between Yin Bai and Zuo Jingyou.

Now, looking at it… it wasn’t just something fishy; it was a full-blown affair!

She couldn’t help but marvel at her own boss. Normally, she could tolerate her antics with subordinates, but when it came to someone she liked, she could escalate things to such an extent. When others wanted to run away, they might go from one region to another. But her boss? She directly ran from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere!

It’s a good thing Zuo Jingyou had a good temper and was willing to chase after her beloved wife for thousands of miles, abandoning all work to find her and patiently coaxing this mischievous little troublemaker.

For someone else, they might not have given up so easily from the beginning.

Well, perhaps this is what true love looks like.

Zhang Yu couldn’t help but feel infinite emotions in her heart. Glancing at Yin Bai sitting in the wheelchair in front of her, she felt a mix of resentment and admiration.

Yin Bai turned her head and met Zhang Yu’s pitiful expression, feeling somewhat guilty for no apparent reason. She nodded and said, “Alright, alright, I’ll make sure you eat your fill!”

Zhang Yu instantly became joyful. She hopped a few steps closer, chattering beside Yin Bai, “Also, BOSS, leaving me alone on the plateau, I was worried about you… worried that you wouldn’t eat well, wouldn’t sleep well… Oh, the concerns I had… Look at you, look at you, I even got a white hair from all the worrying…”

Zuo Jingyou, watching Zhang Yu’s theatrical performance, couldn’t help but chuckle. She nodded in agreement and chimed in, “Yes, Assistant Zhang has been working so hard worrying about you.”

Zhang Yu vigorously nodded, “Exactly, exactly! So, BOSS, considering how hard I’ve worked, how about that year-end bonus this year…”

Knowing she was in the wrong, Yin Bai helplessly glanced at Zhang Yu and said, “Alright, alright, I’ll have HR give you a little extra!”

Zhang Yu got the promise of a raise and, in collaboration with Zuo Jingyou, elaborated on their struggles on the plateau, how they missed Yin Bai, and how they rushed over, enduring sleepless nights and poor meals, exaggerating the details.

Although Yin Bai knew there was a lot of theatricality in their performance, the thought of Zuo Jingyou going through so much trouble for her made her heart ache. Therefore, during breakfast, Yin Bai continuously helped Zuo Jingyou with the food, only stopping when Zuo Jingyou said she had enough.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast together, Yin Bai, in the wheelchair, escorted Zuo Jingyou to the door of her room.

She pressed her fingerprint, leading Zuo Jingyou into the carefully decorated guest room, looking up at her with a shy smile. “I don’t know what kind of room you like, so I tidied up a bit. If you feel it’s not suitable, I can have someone redecorate it tomorrow.”

Zuo Jingyou lowered her gaze, looking at her, and softly smiled, “No, it’s already very good, Yin Bai. This is perfect.”

Yin Bai clasped her hands together and placed them in front of her abdomen, playing with her fingers somewhat shyly. She said, “As long as you like it. By the way, I’ve had your luggage brought in. It’s in the dressing room… After you finish showering, you can rest.”

Zuo Jingyou nodded and replied, “Okay.”

Yin Bai looked up at her and cautiously suggested, “So… dinner later?”

Zuo Jingyou lowered her gaze, looked at Yin Bai, and chuckled softly. In the next moment, she leaned in to embrace Yin Bai, sitting in the wheelchair, planting a gentle kiss on her lips. She whispered, “See you at dinner.”

Countless warmth enveloped Yin Bai, instantly comforting the unsettled heart that had been anxious for several days. Yin Bai reached out, holding Zuo Jingyou’s waist, and tilted her head to receive the kiss. Their lips parted slightly, gently capturing Zuo Jingyou’s, deepening the kiss.

On this not-so-high-altitude island in the southern hemisphere, Yin Bai, without distractions about oxygen levels, was wholeheartedly engaged in kissing the woman in her arms. In this tender and lingering kiss, the woman she held soon melted in her embrace.

Sensing this keenly, Yin Bai freed up one hand to secure the wheelchair, then reached out to lift the woman onto her lap. Tilting her head back, she continued to passionately kiss her.

Zuo Jingyou raised her hands, encircling Yin Bai’s neck. In the gradually deepening kiss, she couldn’t resist grabbing the collar of Yin Bai’s shirt behind her neck.

It wasn’t until Zuo Jingyou couldn’t take it anymore that Yin Bai released her from the embrace, gently looking down at her.

(If you're not reading on littlepandatranslations.com, it means this has been stolen)

Zuo Jingyou leaned against Yin Bai’s chest, looking up at her with eyes full of tenderness and lips glistening. She breathed lightly for a while, and when her breath finally steadied, Zuo Jingyou raised her hand, using her thumb to lightly stroke Yin Bai’s rosy lips. She softly scolded, “I thought you didn’t know how to kiss.”

The first time, she was clearly as stiff as a wooden figure.

Yin Bai parted her lips, extending her tongue to lightly lick Zuo Jingyou’s fingertip. Zuo Jingyou instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but when she looked up, she met Yin Bai’s gaze.

Yin Bai looked down at her, her eyes very gentle. “Teacher Zuo, teach me a few more times, and I’ll get the hang of it.”

Zuo Jingyou paused for a moment, and in the next second, Yin Bai leaned in and kissed her again.

Sorry for not updating yesterday!

One more thing… is the site really filled with ads? I’m using auto ads for adsense so I don’t really know if the ads are much more aggressive to your side than mine, which I only see at least 2-4 ads. Please tell me if this is the case and I’ll adjust it!

There are a few ads on refreshing/loading a page but the dangerous ones from earlier in the year seem to be gone so no complaints from me!

AL

I’m so happy that they’re finally together. The ads are only bad if you click away and come back then they pop up each time.

About adds I’m on mobile and it’s like I’m waves sometimes there is one two adds in chapter, now to enter next chapter I have opened two new tabs with adds, and in past I had add every time I clicked on screen, I also had yesterday some add in summary page for this novel that was entered in middle of screen with no option to close it and following me everywhere, I think option to close it was out of screen but I couldn’t zoom out, I needed to turn on addblock to be able to anything tho after moment it come back and turning off addblock killer it for good for the moment (I’m using opera on phone) . Overall I’m reading your translations I think from like first novel you translated and sometimes as I said it’s two three adds in middle of text and sometimes it’s almost impossible to ready anything without new tab opening on every click when trying to scroll. Currently it’s on 2-3 adds in middle and two new tabs while changing chapters( on links)
